측방향 움직임 보상을 이용한 초음파 의료용 변형률 영상의 화질개선

초음파 의료용 변형률 영상에서 화질을 향상시키기 위해서는 정확한 변위를 계산하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 2차원 방향의 움직임에 의한 변위를 구할 때 1차원 변위 계산법을 적용하기 위하여 초음파 신호의 축방향 변위와 측방향 변위를 분리하여 계산하였다. 측방향 변위를 계산하기 위하여, 측방향으로 정렬된 1차원 신호를 해석 신호 (analytic signal)로 변환한 뒤 상호상관방법을 이용하였다. 제안한 측방향 변위계산 알고리즘을 이용하여 구한 측방향 변위로 측방향 움직임을 보상한 뒤에, 다시 축방향 변위를 구하여 변형률 영상을 얻었다. 제안한 방법으로 얻은 변형률 영상은, 기존의 축방향 변위만 계산하여 얻은 변형률 영상에 비해 신호 대 잡음비와 명암대비 대 잡음비에서 향상됨을 팬텀과 인체 데이터를 이용한 실험을 통해 확인하였다. In order to improve the quality of strain images in medical ultrasound imaging, displacements need to be accurately estimated. In this paper, in order to apply one-dimensional displacement estimation methods to two-dimensional motion estimation, the axial and lateral displacements are separately estimated. In order to estimate lateral displacements, one-dimensional signals aligned in the lateral direction are converted to analytic signals, which are then crosscorrelated. Strain images are produced by first compensating two-dimensional displacements for lateral motion with lateral motion displacement estimates obtained from the proposed lateral displacement estimation algorithm and then estimating axial displacements. Both phantom and human data experiments show that the proposed method provides better signal-to-noise ratio and contrast-to-noise ratio characteristics than a conventional strain imaging method that utilizes axial displacement estimates only.
가동보 및 배수문운영을 고려한 주운수로 홍수위 산정모형 구축

주운수로 홍수기 수위 산정을 위하여 미 공병단에서 개발한 HEC-RAS 모형을 적용하였다. 아라뱃길은 다양한 수리구조물의 조작을 통하여 선박운항 및 홍수처리가 이루어지며 유입홍수, 한강수위, 그리고 서해조위 변동과 연계하여 귤현보, 서해배수문, 체절수문, 그리고 배수펌프장등의 대표적인 구조물 운영을 지원할 수 있는 홍수위 계산모형이 필요하다. 특히 서해배수문의 개도를 결정하기 위하여 외조위와 내수위 변동을 동시에 고려한 수문운영이 필요하여 HEC-RAS의 Rule-script 기능을 적용하여 이러한 특성을 반영하였다. 모형의 검보정을 위하여 2010년 9월 홍수사상을 적용하였으며 모형으로부터 계산된 수위값과 관측된 수위값이 서로 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 구축된 HEC-RAS모형은 홍수기 주운수로 운영에 기여할 것으로 판단된다. HEC-RAS has been applied to simulate water level variation in the Ara waterway during the flood season. To support decision making necessary for operation of the hydraulic structures especially during the flood season, it is important to consider various factors such as water level of the Han River, Gulpo River, and tidal level of the west sea in conjunction with operation of the hydraulic structures such as the Gyulhyun Weir, the West sea gate, and pumping stations. Especially for operation of the west sea gate, the Rule-script option was employed to determine the opening height considering the variation of the water level in the waterway and the west sea simultaneously. For model verification, comparison of water level computed at the upstream and downstream of the regulation weir shows a good agreement with observed data measured during the flood event in September 2010. The HEC-RAS model developed in this study will contribute to support operation of the waterway during the flood season.
Salmonella othmarschen에 의한 집단식중독사례의 분자역학적 분석

The strains of Salmonella othmarschen and Norovirus isolated from outbreak A, the funeral ceremonies incidents in Ouri-shi of Oyeonggido in, 2007, were subjected to genotyping by using PFGE and extraction of RNA by using RT-PCR. 24 Salmonella othmarschen were isolated from 37 cases (patients 12 cases, cookers 4 cases, foods 7cases, knife, kitchen board, dish towel 4 cases, etc) and PFGE patterns showed that 22 strains isolated from the same incident were almost of the same pattern and 2 strains exhibited 50% of the pattern. Antimicrobial susceptibility patterns were such that there were 22 case susceptibility patterns and 2 case resistance patterns (strain 4: AM, CF, CIP, NA, TE TIC and strain 13: CF, CZ). Norovirus G1 (1case), Norovirus G2 (7cases), Norovirus G1,G2 (1case) were detected by using RT-PCR. The fine typing ability and reliability of PFGE and BioNumerics are helpful for establishing out the foodborne pathogens of outbreaks.
발효 균주에 따른 전복발효추출물이 피부 미백 및 주름개선에 미치는 영향

The effect of fermented abalone hydrolysate by various strains was studied as a raw material for functional cosmetics. Chondroitin sulfate content of fermented extract was compared with normal extract to measure change of active component content. The anti-oxidant effect was researched by using DPPH radical inhibition activity assay. To confirm whitening and anti-wrinkle effects, fermented abalone extract was measured by melanin assay and sicol collagen assay. The cell viability of fermented abalone extract was measured to induce toxicity in NIH-3T3 and B16F10 cells using thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide (MTT). Also, subjects were tested on their irritation, elasticity, wrinkle etc. DPPH radical inhibition activity test of fermented abalone extract showed over 80% at 0.01%. It was higher than that of ascorbic acid. The cell viability was confirmed to no toxicity by the MTT assay. Anti-wrinkle effect showed 70% collagen increase at 1% and similar to adenosine (0.04%). Furthermore, fermented abalone extract were showed 30%-35% skin elasticity in clinical test and area of skin wrinkles was improved 20% in fermented abalone extract compared with normal extract. The pores and pophyrin activity were decreased significantly. These results suggest that fermented abalone extract was available as a natural ingredient of cosmeceutical by anti-wrinkle and elasticity effects.
누에생실샘 미세분말을 이용한 기능성 화장품 소재 개발에 대한 연구

본 연구는 누에생실샘 미세분말을 포함하는 트윈케이크 및 팩트용 화장품 소재로서의 특성을 아미노산 분석, 항산화, 보습 및 탄력 효과와 관련된 다양한 실험을 통해 평가하였다. 누에생실샘 미세분말 함유 시험제형의 아미노산은 serine (26.77 %), aspartic (15.47 %), glycine (9.62 %) 등으로 조성되어 있으며, 보습 효과를 나타내는 serin은 누에분말보다 150 % 이상 함유하고 있었다. 누에생실샘 미세분말 함유 시험제형이 함유하지 않은 비교제형보다 입자 크기가 작음을 확인하였고, 우수한 항산화 활성을 지는 것으로 확인하였다. 또한 누에생실샘 미세분말 함유한 시험제형이 비교 제형보다 피부 보습력과 탄력성에서 각각 257.2 %와 181.15 % 증가한 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구결과로부터 항산화 뿐만 아니라 피부 보습 및 탄력성을 높인 누에생실샘 미세분말 함유 화장품의 기능성 화장품 소재 개발 가능성을 확인하였다. In this study, silk-gland powder of silkworm was investigated for the usefulness as a potential agent for functional cosmetics, total content of amino acids and DPPH free radical scavenging assay, and clinical trial were done. The analysis of the amino acids of silk-gland powder showed that serine (26.77 %) content was the highest and aspartic acid, glycine, and glutamic acid followed that. DPPH free radical scavenging activity of silk-gland powder was lower than vitamin C (82.3 % v.s. 97 %), The moisture and elasticity were increased in silk-gland powder compared to control cosmetics by 257.2 % and 181.15 %, relatively. These results suggest that silk-gland powder of silkworm may have beneficial properties as a material for cosmeceuticals.

In this study, silkgland powder of silkworm were investigated to see possibility for cosmetic powder materials. To test possibility as a baby powder cosmetics, total content rate of amino acids, DPPH free radical scavenging assay, MTT assay, and clinical trial were done. According to the result of the analysis of the amino acids of silkgland powder, serin (26.77%) content was the highest and asparatic acid (15.47%), and glycine (9.62%) were followed. DPPH free radical scavenging activity of silkgland powder was lower than vitamin C by 82.3% and 97%, respectively, which is relatively good. And the moisture and elasticity effect were increased in silkgland powder compared to control cosmetics by 210% and 185%, relatively. Thus, these results suggest that silkgland powder of silkworm may have beneficial properties as a material for cosmeceuticals.
