선택적 COX-2 억제제로서 1,5-diarylhydantoins을 위한 새로운 중간체의 합성

The most common side-effects of NSAIDs are generally gastro-intestinal disturbances such as discomfort, nausea, peptic ulcer and severe bleeding. It has been proposed that NSAIDs act through inhibition of cyclooxygenase-1(COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) and that inhibition of COX-1 is associated with adverse gastro-intestinal effects while inhibition of COX-2 is associated with anti-inflammatory activity. On the basis of this fact specific COX-2 inhibitors such as celecoxib and rofecoxib are introduced in the drug market. This paper describes novel key intermediates for 1,5-diarylhydantoin derivatives, candidates for specific COX-2 inhibitors.

풍경은 어떻게 변하는가? : 소녀상, 주한일본대사관, 그리고 중학동

풍경은 어떻게 변하는가? 본 논문은, 장소 특정적 설치물인 소녀상이 그 특정 장소를 잃게 되었다고 상정되는 2016년 주한일본대사관의 철거 이후, 중학동이라는 특정 공간에서 빚어지는 사회・정치적 풍경의 변화에 집중하여 이 질문에 답하고자 한다. 이때, 물리적으로 철거되었으나 환유적으로 남아 존재하는 주한일본대사관은 한·일 양국의 해결되지 않은 역사에서 파생한 낙진으로, 소녀상은 이 낙진의 온전한 처리를 촉구하는 상징으로 독해한다. ‘어떻게’라는 질문으로 시작된 본 논의의 끝이 가리키는 것은 ‘-되어간다’는 동사적 역학 속에 존재하는 유기적 복합체로서의 풍경이다. 본 논문에서 풍경은 사회・정치적 자극에 영향을 받고 영향을 주며, 풍경 속의 것들과 풍경 밖의 것들을 변주하며 풍경을 확장·구성한다. 소녀상은 중학동 풍경을 넘어, 국가적, 민족적, 문화적, 그리고 이념적 경계를 가로지르며 움직이는바, 소녀상을 둘러싼 풍경이 다채로워짐에 따라, 그것의 의미 또한 다층화됨은 물론이다. 풍경에 대한 본 논의에는 ‘참여하는 신체’, 인간 역시 포함된다. 풍경이란 결국 인간 실천의 흔적이자 인간 실천을 포용하는 거대한 한 권의 책이기 때문이다. 사토 겐지(저), 정인선(역), 『풍경의 생산, 풍경의 해방』(현실문화, 2020), 8쪽. 이에 남겨진 과제는 이 책을 어떻게 읽을 것인가이다.

좌표이탈의 (불)가능성에 대한 우화 - 알렉한드로 호도로브스키 작, 쟝-미쉘 두쁘 연출의 <복화술사의 학교>에 대한 연구 -

본 논문은 알렉한드로 호도로브스키(Alejandro Jodorowsky)작, 장-미쉘 두쁘(Jean-Michel d`Hoop)연출의 < 복화술사의 학교(L`Ecole des Ventriloques) >(2008)를 주어진 체계 내의 주어진 좌표로부터의 이탈을 감행하는 존재의 -되기에 대한 알레고리로 분석한다. 이때, 나의 나 아닌 것-되기(인형-되기)라는 사건을 발생시키는 주요 극적 수단인 복화술은, -되기라는 사건이 일어나는 알레고리적 장소로 논의될 것이다. 배우와 인형이라는 상이한 두 개체를 연기하는 복화술사의 몸에 의하여 발생하는 사건으로서의 -되기는 복화술이라는 메카니즘과 -되기 사이의 근접성을 보여주며, 탈 경계에의 미학적 담론으로 독해된다. 논의는 주인공 셀레스뜨의 “성자-되기”, “천재-되기”, “영웅-되기”의 일련의 에피소드들을 통하여 -되기의 필수조건인 좌표이탈을 감행하는 역동적인 변수로서의 인간 존재에 대한 철학적 사유로 확장될 것이며, 이는 경계 자체에 대한 질문으로 이어질 것이다. This study aims to analyze Jean-Michel d`Hoop`s production of Alejandro Jodorowsky`s “L`Ecole des Ventriloques(The School of Ventriloquists)”(2008) as an allegory of `becoming`, which attempts a deviation of a being from the given coordinates within a given system. Ventriloquism, which is a primary theatrical device for an event of becoming who(which)-is-not (i.e., becoming-a puppet), will be discussed as an allegorical locus of `becoming`, as well. The event of becoming, which happens through a single body of a ventriloquist-actor and a ventriloquist-puppet, will illustrate the proximity between the mechanism of ventriloquism and the ideas of becoming to be registered as aesthetics of trans-boundary in this study. Then, through the procedural episodes of Celeste the protagonist`s “becoming a saint”, “becoming a genius”, and “becoming a hero”, the discussion will be expanded to a philosophical speculation over a (human-)being as an ultimate and only variable, executing the dynamic force of becoming and turn to a question of a boundary in order to probe if there is a boundary as such.

본고는 2017년 서울국제공연예술제 해외초청작 테아트르 드 랑투르베르의 <애니웨어>(앙리 보쇼 원작, 엘리즈 비네롱·엘렌 바로 출연)에 나타난 언어의 경계를 분석한다. 분석에 사용되는 방법론적 도구는 데리다의 해체론이다. 이것은 언어의 경계를 이분법적 시각으로 개념화한 후, 그 시각의 중지라는 이중전략을 취한다. 말하기와 글쓰기, 음성학과 문자학, 수행하는 목소리와 의미하는 목소리, ‘여기 지금’의 목소리와 ‘저기 그때’의 목소리 등으로 언어를 바라보는 이분법적 시각이 중지될 때, 그 시각에 의하여 설계된 이분법적 개념 역시 무효화될 것이다. 이 전략은 경계 사이를 횡단하며 경계 사이를 채워내는 사이의 에너지, 쉬브젝틸이 확보될 때 비로소 유효하다. 그러니 쉬브젝틸은 경계에 대한 관념들을 경계의 수행성으로 역어낼 본고의 주요 실 가닥이라 하겠다. 언어의 경계에 대한 본 연구는 학제와 예술과, 아카데미아와, 그리고 세상의 경계 넘기에 대한 제안이기도 하다. This paper examines borders of language(s) in regards to border performitivity. The target of the analysis is Theatre de l’entrouvert’s Anywhere with Elise Vigneron and Helene Barreau at SPAF in 2017. As a methodological tool for the analysis, it depends on Derridean deconstructive approach. This, as a tactic, performs a double-move which conceptualizes a border of language(s) from a dichotomous angle, and then suspends the angle itself within itself: that of speech and writing, phonology and grammatology, performing voice and signifying voice, voice of ‘here and now’ and voice of ‘there and then’, et cetera. As the angle is suspended, the concept conceived by the angle will be stultified as well. This tactic works only when subjectile of interposition ― an energy crossing borders and solidifying in-betweens ― is secured. Thereby, subjectile will be a key thread of this analysis to weave the ideas of a border into border performitivity. This study will likely be a proposal for more border crossings of disciplines, arts, academia as well as of the world.

Selective COX-2 inhibitors were expected to retain anti-inflammatory activity by inhibition of prostaglandin production with reduction of gastric and renal side effect associated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This study reported the syntheses of novel 2-thiohydantoin and hydantoin derivatives which have the structure of 5-membered heterocyclic ring substituted with two aryl groups, phenyl group at 5-position and p-sulfamylphenyl or p-methoxyphenyl group at 1-position. These synthetic compounds showed significant COX-2 activities in vitro screening. Among them, 5-phenyl-2-thiohydantoin and hydantoin substituted with benxyl group at 3-position, compounds 5 and 8, could be considered as lead compounds with IC_(50)=13.13~18.78㎍/ml for the development of COX-2 inhibitors.

For the development of new synthetic method for unnatural amino acid esters, alkyl α-anilinophenylacetates 4a-i were synthesized through base-catalyzed hydrolysis of 1,5-diphenylhydantoins 1a-b in methanol and O-alkylation of sodium α-anilinophenylacetate 3 with alkyl halides in DMF. Even though hydrolysis of hydantoin ring was undertaken under about 30-40℃ in methanol, the hydantoic acid sodium salt 2 was continuously converted to the sodium α-anilinophenylacetate 3. All synthetic process from hydantoin to alkyl α-anilinopheny lacetates could be carried out in one-pot without isolation of intermediates.

1,5-Diphenylhydantoins을 위한 새로운 Methyl α-Anilinophenylacetate 유도체의 합성

For the development of new COX-2 inhibitor, novel key intermediates (2∼4) synthesized through esterification, bromination and α-substitution from phenylacetic acid. The methyl phenylacetate 2 was synthesized through reflux phenylacetic acid with sulfuric and methanol. The methyl α-bromophenylacetate 3 was produced through radical bromination using N-bromosuccinimide from 2. The optical amination to introduce anilino group was contolled under 80℃ in DME. The bromo intermediate was converted to the final methyl α-anilinophenylacetate 4 through reaction with aniline.
