Eight compounds were isolated from the stem bark of Cornus walteri. On the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidences, the structures of these compounds were identified as gallic acid, (+)-gallocatechin, (+)-catechin, quercetin, quercitrin, rutin, isoquercitrin and hyperoside respectively.

Five compounds were isolated from the fruits of Evodia daniellii $H_{EMSLEY}$. Their structures were identified as 2-oxotridecanyl acetate, bergapten, limonin, squalene, ${\beta}-sitosterol$ on the basis of spectral data. Among these compounds, 2-oxotridecanyl acetate and squalene were isolated in this plant for the first time.

The stem barks of Kalopanax septemlobus were extracted with MeOH, and successively partitioned with $CH_2Cl_2$, EtOAc, BuOH and water. Repeated column chromatographic separation of the $CH_2Cl_2$ fraction resulted in the isolation of four compounds. Their structures were identified as ${\beta}-sitosterol$ (1), oleanolic acid (2), 3,3'-bis(3,4-dihydro-4-hydroxy-6-methoxy-2H-1-benzopyran) (3) and (-)-balanophonin (4). This is the first report on the isolation of 3,3'-bis(3,4-dihydro-4-hydroxy-6-methoxy-2H-1-benzopyran) (3) and (-)-balanophonin (4) from Kalopanax spp.

Seven compounds were isolated from the n-BuOH extract of the dried stem barks of Rhus javanica L. On the basis of physico-chemical, spectroscopic evidences and comparison with authentic samples, the compounds $1{\sim}7$ were identified as gallic acid (1), methyl gallate (2), scopoletin (3), scopolin (4), $1,\;2,\;3,\;4,\;6-penta-O-galloyl-{\beta}-D-glucose$ (5), orcinol (6) and $orcinol-{\beta}-D-glucoside$ (7). Among these compounds, scopolin, $orcinol-{\beta}-D-glucoside$ were isolated from this plant for the first time.
