An experimental study on a subsea installation using an offshore crane was conducted. Concrete blocks, suction piles, and manifolds were considered in this study. Free decay tests were conducted to investigate the fluid characteristics of the subsea structures. The added masses of the structures were estimated. The motion response amplitudes of the subsea structures were compared for different structures and water depths. In addition, the dynamic tension transfer function of the crane wire was investigated. The root mean square values of the heave motion and the dynamic amplification factor of the wire tension were investigated in irregular waves.

This study presents an investigation if the characteristics of piezoelectric sensors whose main utilization is to measure impact pressure. The piezoelectric sensors were tested from several points if view. Their characteristics were investigated for repeatability, the effect of the diameter, temperature effect, water purity, flush mounting, and AC and DC coupling. Out of these, it was revealed that the temperature effect is very significant. The characteristics of the AC and DC coupling are also very important in understanding the time history of the impact pressure.

This study presents the effect of filling ratio on sloshing impact pressure. The experiment was done with three filling ratios of 20%, 70%, and 95% of the tank height. The input of the motion was regular excitation. The total number of sensors in use were 53. They were installed on tank top and tank wall. The maximum pressures and the average of one third highest impact pressures for the whole pressure sensors were investigated. The result shows clearly the location of sensors which are exposed to the high impact pressures for different filling ratios. The characteristics of the impact patterns for three filling ratios were also examined.
풍하중에 의한 바지선의 예인 시 거동특성 변화에 관한 연구

This paper presents the results of a numerical study on the towing characteristics of a barge under various wind conditions. First, stability criteria, including the wind force, were derived based on the linear motion equations of a towed vessel. The effect of the wind force on the towing stability was investigated using stability criteria. Next, towing simulations were carried out using a nonlinear time-domain simulation method. In this case, the towline was modeled as a simple spring-damper, and the wind force was computed using the wind coefficient from CFD calculations. Simulations were conducted for a barge under a constant towing speed and constant wind speed conditions. The effect of the wind direction on the slewing motion was also observed. In addition, a series of numerical simulations using variable wind speeds were performed for the present barge with and without a skeg.
유아 미술작품 활용에 대한 유아교사의 인식 및 실태 연구

유아 미술작품은 단순한 일회성 활동의 결과물로서 처리되어야 하는가 아니면 다차원적 상징과 변형을 암시하는 미적 오브제로서 새로운 교육적 활용의 가능성으로 접근되어야 하는지에 대해, 현재 유아교실에서 수없이 양산되는 미술작품을 관리하고 활용하는 유아교사의 인식과 실태를 알아보고자 하였다. 유아 교사 188명이 설문조사에 참가하였고, 세 명의 유아교사를 대상으로 면담과 미술 활동 시간의 관찰이 이루어졌다. 유아교사들은 유아의 미술작품의 활용에 대해 비교적 높은 인식을 가지고 있었으며, 설문조사의 결과를 통해 실천에 있어서도 미술작품의 활용을 미적안목과 연결시키는 등 미술작품 활용의 긍정적인 측면을 보여주었다. 그러나 실제 활용에 대해서는 여전히 높은 어려움과 요구도를 가지고 있었으며, 관찰과 면담을 통해서도 대부분 획일적 전시를 하거나, 학습의 증거물로서 포트폴리오를 이용하고, 작품을 집으로 보내는 통상적 방법을 활용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 유아미술에 대한 두 가지 상반된 이론적 접근, 즉, 현재 유아 미술교육은 교사의 첨삭과 변형을 자제하는 유아중심 표현미술활동이라는 지배적인 접근방법과 유아미술작품이 교사의 적극적 개입과 협력적 관계에서 더욱 의미화 된다는 맥락주의 미술교육에 대한 인식의 부제로 논의되었다. The prupose of this study was to examine early childhood teachers' beliefs and practices about using children's artworks. One hundred eighty eight teachers participated in a survey and three from the participating teachers were chosen for teacher interviews and observation of art classes. Teachers tended to have hige attitudes toward using children's artworks. According to the survey results, the teachers reported that they consider aesthetic senses when they use children's artworks. However, according to teachers' interviews and observations of the classrooms, children's artworks were "used" as just displays or collections for their portfolios. Also, the teachers expressed their difficulties in using children's artworks. These results were discussed in terms of the two, contrasting theoretical approaches in children's art education the predominant. child-centered approach emphasizing children's free expressions in their artworks without teachers' correction and modification, and the less valued, contextual approach highlighting teachers' active involvement and cooperation in children's artworks as a meaningful way in children's art education.

It is important to the ocean related field what is called wave measurement. Usual wave information is obtained on the fixed point. Fixed point can be space or time. Based on the linear wave theorem measured wave information can be expressed Fredholm Integral equation of first kinds by Fourier transform. We adopted discretized integral equation to get spectrum of wave number. But this system usually is ill-posed system. To overcome this we introduced Tikhonov regularization scheme. And we compared the target wave number spectrum and spectrum on fixed point using Tikhonov approximation. Fixed point data is obtained analytically and by experiments.

In this paper, the wave run?up on a vertical cylinder is presented. Various cross sections of a cylinder were simulated using the panel method for various wave periods. Two?dimensional model tests were performed in a wave flume. The simulation results are compared with the test results. The simulation is based on the linear diffraction theory.

This paper is intended to review the improvement of slums in the urban areas in the context of basic needs. The city authority had experienced great difficulty in enhancing the quality of slums. Several attempts to enhance the quality of slums had been carried out by city agencies. But each attempt has been proved to have its own faults in the light of basic needs. For any people, basic needs is a set of wants which after being supplied makes the people happy and satisfied. And the concept of basic needs approach to development is closely associated with the use of appropriate technology.
