기계식 키보드 스위치 유형에 따른 사용성 평가: 갈축 및 저소음적축을 중심으로

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the usability of mechanical keyboard switches according to types of switches. Background: Recently, as mechanical keyboards have become popular, various types of key switches are being used commonly. Method: We conducted the experiments comparing tactile switch (brown) and linear (silent red) universally used for mechanical keyboards. A total of 20 participants performed typing tasks that input planned sentences. In the meantime, the speed, task completion time, and accuracy were measured, and after each task, the participants evaluated various qualitative indicators. Results: The tactile switch showed statistical superiority in qualitative indicators such as overall satisfaction, finger fatigue, and pleasure compared to linear, but there were no significant differences in performance. Additionally, it was confirmed that the subjective physical demands were less when the wrist rest was used together. Conclusion: In this study, it was confirmed that different key switch types affect usability. The effect of using or not using a wrist rest was also confirmed. Application: The results presented in this study can be used in the design of keyboards.
기계식 키보드 스위치 유형에 따른 사용성 및 근육활동 분석

Objective: This study investigates the effects of mechanical key switches with differing operation characteristics on usability and muscle activity. Background: Recently, mechanical keyboards have become popular, and various types of key switches are being used in the market. Previous studies primarily compared different types of keyboards rather than comparing the characteristics of key switches within mechanical keyboards. Method: We conducted experiments comparing four types of mechanical keyboard key switches with different operating characteristics. A total of 18 people participated in the experiment, and they performed typing tasks. In the meantime, we have recorded speed, task completion time, accuracy, and muscle activity. After each task, the participant performed a subjective evaluation of the keyboard. Results: The results showed that the key switch with a low actuation force had low satisfaction scores generally. Switches with clear auditory and tactile feedback had positive responses but required slightly more muscle activity. It also confirmed that the key switch profiles had a significant effect on the user satisfaction items as well. Conclusion: This result means that a certain amount of auditory and tactile feedback due to operation characteristics is accompanied by more muscle activity and noise but brings user satisfaction such as pleasure. Application: The results of this study can be used as a reference for mechanical keyboard consumers and manufacturers.
Ubiquitous Floater와 GIS를 활용한 도시하천 유속계측 시스템 개발

Due to unusual climate change, drought or flood happens frequently not only in Korea but also in all over the world, which leads to the serious damages and injuries in urban areas in addition to rural areas. To reduce damages from the flood and draught, stream discharge data collection with durability, consistency, and reliability should be guaranteed. But the current streamflow data collections are concentrated mainly on large river and the gauging stations are fixed at a certain location. Therefore, the development of system that can obtain discharge data anytime, anywhere is necessary to solve these problems. In this study, the urban stream velocity measurement system is developed which can aid to estimate an abnormal flow situations such as flood and drought quickly and accurately from remotely located personal computer by combining and estimating the stream discharge generated from an urban stream GIS and ubiquitous floater. Urban stream measurement system is tested and verified in Jungrang-cheon. 최근 들어 기상 이변 등의 영향으로 우리나라뿐만 아니라 전 세계적으로 가뭄 및 홍수가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 물로 인한 각종 재해는 농촌 지역에서도 피해를 발생시키지만, 특히 인구가 밀집되어 있는 도시 지역에서 막대한 피해를 발생시킨다. 도시유역 소하천에서 가뭄과 홍수로 인한 피해를 경감시키기 위해서는 무엇보다도 지속적이고 신뢰성 있는 하천유황자료의 획득이 중요하다. 그러나 현재 우리나라에서 수집되고 있는 유황자료는 자료의 수집이 대하천에 편중되어 있고, 관측소의 위치가 고정되어 있어 원하는 시점과 지점의 자료를 획득하기 힘든 단점이 있다. 따라서 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 언제 어디서나 쉽게 유황자료를 획득할 수 있는 관측시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 도시 소하천 지리정보 시스템과 유비퀴터스 floater로부터 계측된 유속자료를 결합하고 유량을 산정하여 PC에서 원거리에 위치한 도시 소하천 흐름의 상태를 정확하게 파악하고, 홍수, 갈수와 같은 하천흐름의 이상을 신속하고 정확하게 파악할 수 있는 도시 소하천 유속 계측 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템을 중랑천에 적용한 결과 원거리에서 누구나 원하는 지점의 하천유황 파악이 가능하였다.
