The strain pattern was investigated to develop the techniques for monitoring the health status of the steel truss bridge which was scaled down to 1/15 of the real bridge for the laboratory experiments. The damage scenarios were chosen as 8 cases which was included the sound bridge. The strain measured from the bridge showed the complex shape which has the two or more dynamic vibration modes. When the load vehicle was passed the center of the bridge, the strain pattern was picked at that time. The various damage cases were distinguished from each other by the strain patterns.

The prototype health monitoring system was constructed to guide the level-up of the bridge management system. The bridge management system should be able to determine the structural health stsatus. However, many present systems used m the real bridges can not automatically determine the health status. In this study, the prototype system was developed to have 4 functions: the real-time abnormal signal detection, the abnormal part detection, the determination of damaged members, and the calculation of residual fatigue life. This prototype system will be modified and verified by the data acquired from the measurements of the real bridges.

The investigation of concrete structure typically relies on visual inspection which is one of basic inspection technique. Image processing techniques play a crucial role in the growing field of automatic surface inspection technique. However, kinds of inspection equipment, environmental condition and detection algorithm have much influence on the reliability of inspection result. This paper proposes a verification method and testing procedure for the reliability of inspection results and surveys characteristics of image acquisition systems and crack inspection algorithms.

현수시스템에서 케이블의 장력은 구조물의 신뢰성을 확인할 수 있는 매우 중요한 요인이다. 본 논문에서는 현수시스템에서 케이블의 정확한 장력 값을 측정하여 그 값의 신뢰성을 확인하고 실제 현수 시스템에 적용할 수 있도록 하기 위해 케이블의 장력을 측정 할 수 있는 표준 실험장치 개발에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 표준 실험 장치를 직접 설계 제작하였으며 시험편을 제작 실험을 수행하였다. 실험을 통해 케이블의 장력 값을 측정할 수 있으며 실제 현수시스템에서 케이블 장력측정에 적용 할 수 있는 표준 실험 장치를 개발하고자 하였다. This paper describes a new tension measurement system of suspension cable. The suspension cables play an important role in long-span cable-supported bridges, of which the reliability assessment has today been a major topic all around the world. Tension data of a suspension cable in mechanical design and selection of a cable in the construction of a structure helps an engineer and researcher. However, it is difficult to supply the repeatability and the reliability of measurement result in previous technique-vibration acceleration measurement system, load cell technique. In this paper, the tension measurement system of suspension cable and the specimen design for accurate measurement are proposed and the measurement results are described.

The purpose of this was to solve conceptual problems of family restaurant through theoretical approach, to improve problems associated with managing restaurants, and to suggest plans for family restaurant chains. First of all, in order to improve the problems of franchising, the contents of contract were analyzed by showing the examples, and the methods were illustrated to analyze the overall contents. Hereafter, family restaurants will be categorized as either `Casual Dining` or `Theme Restaurant`, some of the nicknames for family restaurant. However, the fundamental categories will be in accordance with the categories of NRA of the U.S.A. as `Family Chain Restaurant`, `Grill-Buffet Restaurant` and `Dinner House`. It is hoped that the future study categorize these three in more details. The problems of restaurant management were considered to be concerned with the owner and the managerial problems. As a way to overcome the problems associated with restaurant chain concept, the importance of manual and food & beverage production, the analysis on different methods of store development, the characteristics of manual, the interested items when filling-out, and the methods were presented. The basic systems of commissary food service were introduced and their effects were presented as well in this study. The stages of store development and the models of expansion were presented for an analysis. The main focus of this study was to grasp the flow of organizational and store expansion by analyzing on-site stores and headquarters office hence find out the reason why the current portion of family restaurant is decreasing and not increasing among dining out industry. Therefore, it has brought a great opportunity to seize the problems of structual systems of family restaurant. A family restaurant is no longer perceived as an ordinary restaurant, yet it represents a whole new cultural environment due to the unique characteristics of family restaurant such as its food culture, protocol, and various shapes and sizes. The researcher of this study extends his wish that the future study reinvestigates differently categorized family restaurant and gives much attention to a systematically independent research subject.

Presently it becomes deeper underground excavation with rapid growth of industrial and gravitation of the population. By purpose of cut-off, impervious, and ground strengthening etc., grouting is used. But it is difficult to check impregnation effect because grouting operate in under ground. Up to this day, many methods of inspection have been designed, but these methods is not trusted. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to confirm to ground improvement effect by using temperature measurement. From the result, the more sensor adjoin impregnation tube, the more temperature increases.
