생태박물관(ECO-MUSEUM)조성과 횡성지역 관광개발과의 연계방안

The creation of an Eco-museum is expected to draw many tourists to visit Heongsung attractions, for it will be a new tourism facility which will change the tour pattern of the Heongsung area. So far, the tour pattern of the Heongsung area has been developed by linear tourism development and for a simple tour activity to provide leisure space enabling tourists to have various tour experiences and adventures. Especially, the creation of an Eco-museum will contribute to the growth of tourists, the extension of their stay, the growth of income, and the improvement of image as a tour attraction to the Heongsung area. Thus, the Eco-museum will be a 21st century-type tourism resource. The goal of the Eco-museum is important for improvement of life quality, for distinctive improvement of the regional environment, for pro-environmental development, for development of a 21st century-type of eco-tourism resource, and for creation of an attraction to meet the satisfaction of tourists. To achieve these goals, I will mainly research these three parts in this study: First, for the variation of Eco-museum composition, the specialty, cultural aspects, history, resource, and environment of the Heongsung area will be researched. Second, an analysis of the theoretical background which supports the concept of an Eco-museum and the plan of inventing software befitting the condition of Korea will be focused upon. The Eco-museum concept has been created as an alternative tourism resource for an active, vital tour activity and as a continuous development strategy. Third, After consideration of the tourism development plan, connective plans contributing to the characteristic and active tourism of the Heongsung area will be presented, for the construction of an Eco-museum has a close relationship with the tourism improvement of its surrounding area.

The goal of this paper lies in analyzing the visitors of the 2005 Hoengsung Hanu Festival, strengthening an aspect suitable to a new festival environment, and presenting a future developmental direction as a representative regional festival, thus making a contribution to the activation of the regional economy, and consolidating ties between communal residents.To do this research, a course for acquiring the basic data needed for the evaluation of the Hoengsung Hanu Festival, I undertook a research analysis of the 2005 Hoengsung Hanu Festival's planning, operation, programs, and also conducted a visitors' survey. The analysis method of this research was mainly done with a simple frequency analysis; therefore, I sought to have the most basic data of the Hanu Festival's evaluation, and have it reflected in a part of a further regional festival policy process.A frequency analysis of regional festival policy, though it is simple, is the easiest analytic method for the researcher's aim, and thus emphasis was placed on the fact that this can be an important method in easily accomplishing the evaluation of regional festival policy and the reflux capacity.

Today, the size of the tourist movement is possibly equal to the biggest population movement in world history. In the point, peoples participation in tourism in Korea is remarkably growing with the increase of disposable income, the change of consumption type and increase of urbanizing rate by continuous economic growth during that time. But Social tourism in Korea has not yet been given equal opportunity to nonparticipation class as the young, the old low-income group. In terms of this, Korea is reguired the efficient improvement of policy and relevent institution of Social Tourism. To build up the efficient improvement of policy and relevent institution of Social Tourism, the writer has set up six chapters at the following context and objectives of study; In Chapter 2, the theoretical refereme of Social Tourism. In Chapter 3, the relevent institution of Social Tourism. In Chapter 4, analysis on the actual condition of Social Tourism Policy in Korea. In Chapter 5, the efficient improvement of policy and relevent institution of social Tourism in Korea. <Conclusion> Korea's economic growth policy is expected to be continued in the future. Therefore, Social Tourism has to be carried out to meet people's need in the time of leisure culture. The Social Tourism policy plays a role the lever to lessen the gap between the privileged class and the unprivileged class. Accordingly, We meet the needs and mission on the time to stress the efficient improvement and relevant institution of Social tourism in Korea.

The main object of this research is to study an activation method about various festivals which are held in Heongsung and to make an alternative policy which will develop those festivals into competitive regional ones. To attain that object, first I investigated the present condition of the regional festivals held inside and outside of Korea. To find out what inclination the residents of Heongsung area have, I analyzed the empirical proof. Using the result of that analysis, I presented detailed alternatives on activation program of festivals in Heongsung Region.

The aim of this research is to intensively develop festivals reflecting the feature and peculiarity of Gangwon province, and to single out and support distinguished festivals, and consider the competitiveness of those festivals - through competition based on reciprocal self-control. This research focuses on the improvement of the festivals of Gangwon province, so that these festivals can play a catalytic role in the development of the cultural tour industry of this province. Those festivals representing the major products of this province will provide a frameworks for the development and activatation of the economy of this province. The main aim of this research is to examine the possibility of developing Gangwon province into the Mecca of festivals, and to develop festivals which can embody the comparative superiority, the introduction of management technique, the distinctiveness, and specialization of programs, and the satisfaction of customers.

To examine the relationship between policy-process and its participants who are the subjects of the policy-process, this research was focused on the analyses of the preceding reference works by Van Horn, Baumer, and Gormley in 1989. Based on their theoretical frameworks, this paper investigated the area of tourism policy, especially the policy-process of the participants concerning the policy of a Small Casino, which became a new landmark of the Korean Casino Industry in 2000. It was my ultimate object to study the features in the policy-process of a Small Casino, and to do so, I examined the features in the policy-process of a Small Casino by using these criteria: the participating rate of main administrators, remarkability and conflict, sensitivity, and renovating policy decisions.
