The purpose of this study is to investigate the components of the English entrance exams of the Korea Military Academy and the Korea National Police University in relation to the literature of the national curriculum and test "usefulness." In this study, English entrance exam samples from 2017 to 2019 were selected. Their coherence with the national curriculum was examined, and their usefulness with regard to test methodology and test content based on Bachman and Palmer’s (1996) framework of test method facets was diagnosed. Then, lexical analysis borrowed from corpus linguistics was conducted. Finally, the exams were analyzed in terms of readability. The results show that the exams do not faithfully reflect the national curriculum and many qualities of test usefulness were revealed to not have been successfully applied. Also, the vocabulary and readability analysis showed that the two tests were not appropriate for Korean high school students. As a result, the two entrance exams proved problematic in terms of reliability, validity, authenticity and practicality. Suggestions are made on the basis of the results for the improvement of the tests.
Bilirubin 결합능에 영향을 주는 인자에 관한 연구

Bilirubin binding capacity for serum albumin was measured by paper electrophoresis method. The influnece of bilirubin binding capacity for the hematin was not shown. However, it was showed that pH increases the bilirubin binding capacity also increases. And one mole of albumin was bound 4-5 moles of bilirubin at pH 7.4. Fifty-nine samples of maternal and fetal blood (cord blood) for thc bilirubin binding capacity using paper electrophoresis method were measured as 241.50±72.50㎎/100㎖, and 132.00±49.25㎎/100㎖, respectively. There was showed that fetal blood was aImost half of the maternal bilirubin binding capacity. Forty persons of young women and normal males for bilirubin binding capacity were measured as 296.05±32.15㎎/100㎖ and 162.20±42.60㎎/100㎖, respectively. there was also showed that normal males were almost half of the young women's bilirubin binding capacity.
한국인의 적혈구 Pyruvate Kinase에 관한 연구

Many different condit ions with relation to the measurement of enzyme activity were studied and obtained as followings: 1. NAD production was constant during first 30 minute after adding phosphoenolpyruvate into reaction mixture. 2. Enzyme concentration, 1 to 6 volumes of usual concentration, obeyed to the Beer's law. 3. The erythrocyte pyruvate kinase values in Korean were 3.35±1.75 IU per gm of Hb.

Reduction behaviour of iron oxide(Fe_2O_3) in carbon-iron oxide pellets was investigated in the temperature range of 1100-1500℃. The unreacted oxygen and carbon content in the pellet as well as the reduction degree of the iron oxide which depends on the reaction time were evaluated by means of the off-gas analysis. The reduction rate of iron oxide was very fast. The apparent reduction degree of iron oxide above 90% is obtained in about 10 minutes of reaction time. In the initial stage of reaction, up to about 80% of reduction degree of iron oxide, the reaction is controlled by the gasification reaction of carbon. The empirical rate equations for the reduction reaction of iron oxide were derived, and which agreed well with experimental values.

We have determined the mormal ranges using the probability graph method to the laboratory data. From within ranges there were found that hematolgical normal values and ranges calculated from it were applied to the determination of those, except red blood cells
腎疾患에서의 Cellulose Acetate 電氣泳動分劃에 對한硏究

Cellulose acetate electrophoretic studies of renal diseases were performed and the follo- wing results were obtained 1) The mean values for the electrophoretic fractions of serum protein in nephrotic syn- drome mere 1.18±0.48gm/100㎖(28.65±8.03%), 0.25±0.19 gn/100㎖ (5.05±3.17%)1.46±0.57 gn/100㎖(35.95±12.83%), 0.72±0.28 gn/100㎖(17.32±5.39%), and 0.56±0.21gm/100㎖(13.45±4.47%), respectively, for the albnmi, α_l-, α_2-, β-, and γ- globulin fractions. It was found that decrensed both albumin 2.11gm/100㎖(19a17%), and γ-glo-bulin, 0.94gm/100㎖(7.83%), fractions were more marked than in control groups. While α_2-globulin fraction was markedly increased, 0.7gm/100㎖(25.37%), to compare in control group. 2) The correlation coefficient between albumin and α_2-globulin fractions in nephrotic syndrome was γ=-0.84 and regression equation, was y=-1.34x-74.40. 3) The A/G ratio was markedly reversed as 0.40±0.16. 4) The mean values for the electrophoretic fractions of serum proteins in nonnephrotic syndrome, i. e. , acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, renal failure, pyelonephritis, and renal stones, were 2.35±0.59gm/100㎖(40.74±8.54%), 0.27±0.13gn/100㎖(4.65±1.98%), 0.78±0.25gm/100㎖(13.30±2.84%), 0.93±0.28gm/100㎖(15.75±4.33%), and 1.43±0.58gm/100㎖(24.14±8.14%), respectively, for the albumin, α_l-, α_2-, β-, and γ- globulin fractions. It was found that decreased albumin and increased α_l-globulin fractions were marked than in control group. 5) In the biochemical data in nephrotic syndrome it was found that serum cholesterol was increased. 2.5 times than in control group. In non-nephrotic syndrome group it was found that increased concentration of serum K and markedly increased concentration of serum creatinine(4.5 times) and BUN(3 times) were shown.
