      • 口腔粘膜組織 細布의 性的差異에 관한 硏究

        On purpose to study tlie sexual differencences of the cells in the oral mucous membrane, the paraffin preparations made with 22 cases of male and 28 cases of female were examined by the method of hematoxylin-eosin stain and also especially Klinger Ludwig method of thionin stain applied to this experiment. In the cases of female, sex chromatins appeeared in the epithelial cells. As a result of this experment it was observed that the sexual defferences of the cells in the oral mucous membrane were well appeared in Koreans. In general, sex chromatins were observed as fine particles deeply stained. These particles looked like, three features as rod, ellipse and egg-shaped. In 3 cases of male, some partioles appeared as similar as sex chromatins in the picture, these were seen as the same sex chromatin as the cells of oral mucous membrane in female. It might be considered that they were coused by a pile of chromatins and its derivatives. The results were obtained as followings; (1) In the cases of male, thre were no sex chromotins in the cells of the oral mucous membrane 19 cases of them were completely dicriminated. The remainders had the similar particles as sex chromatins, but they could be discriminated from the form and the size of chromatin, their staining density and their numbers. (2) In all cases of female, sex chromatins were observed in the cells of the oral mucous membrane.

      • 알코올에 의한 α-Tocopherol이 혈중 Creatine kinase 활성도에 미치는 영향

        This study was done in order to observe the effects of a-tocopherol and/or alcohol administration on the serum creatine concentration, creatine phosphokinase activity and CPK-isonzymes at each feeding day. The white Sprague-Dawley rats were classified with 4-groups : the 0.9% NaCl administration for the feeding days was group B(B1, B2 and B3), the 25% ethanol pretreated for the each 5 and 10 days and the 50% a-tocopherol for the 2 and 7 days administration was group C(Cl and C2), and the 50% a-tocopherol pretreated for the each ,10 and 16 days and 25% ethanol for the 2, 7 and 10 days administration was group D(D1, D2 and D3) The following results were obtained. 1. The serum creatine concentration was not significant. 2. The serum creatine activity was significantly increased in group B. The group C, and D was not significant. 3. The changes of electrophoresis pattern in serum CPK-isoezymes. CPK-BB and CPK-MB was significantly increased or decreased on the each feeding days, and however the CPK-MM was not significant.

      • 혈청지질치 에 관한 연구

        This is the results of serum triglyceride and phospholipid levels in normal healthy korean who distributed from ages 10 to 69, and amounts to 352 individuals, males 174 and females 178. The results were as follows : 1. The serum triglyceride leveIs of normal healthy korean were found that males were 76.5±25.4㎎/100㎖, females 72.8±24. 6㎎/100㎖ and mean of both sexes 74.7±25.0㎎/100㎖. 2. The normal serum phospholipid levels in korean were found that males were 182.7±16.2㎎/100㎖, females 181.6±16.1 ㎎/100㎖, and mean of both sexes 182.2±16.1 ㎎/100㎖. 3. The triglyceride and phospholipid levels were varied slightly in accordance with the age and the sex but not significant in statistical aspects.

      • 알코올에 의한 α-Tocopherol의 혈중 효소농도에 관한 연구

        The α-tocopherol has an anti-oxidant and protective action of the liver tissue against free radical which results to hematological changes, tissue damage and metabolic disturbances. To investigate the effects of α-tocopherol on the alcohol administered rats(SD) the rats were divided 4 groups; control, alcohol, α-tocopherol, and both alcohol and α-tocopherol administration. The following results were obtained 1. In alcohol administered group the blood enzyme activities were higher than control and were significantly lower in α-tocopherol administered. The blood enzyme activities in both alcohol and α-tocopherol administered group were not significantly lower than alcohol adiministered group. 2. The liver enzyme activities in alcohol administered group were higher than control and were changed, especially GOT, ALP, LDH and CPK. The liver enzyme activities in both alcohol and α-tocopherol administered group were significantly lower than alcohol administered group. 3. From the above results there were found that the α-tocopherol has a protective action against liver damage due to administration of alcohol, which caused a free radical from the lipid peroxidation and also caused the increasing enzyme activities in the blood and the liver.

      • 인삼액이 알코올 투여 흰쥐의 효소활성에 미치는 영향

        The S.D. rats were classified with four groups: ethanol-treated group, ginseng-treated group which was pretreated with ethanol, ginseng-treated group and ethanol-treated group which was pretreated with ginseng. Then enzyme activities such as γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase had been measured in serum, hepatic and renal tissue. The descriptions were based on the analysis of samples collected by 5 days interval for25 days. The following results were obtained. 1. The changes of serum γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in ginseng-treated group which was pre treated with ethanol except amylase, amylase activity was especially decreased in ginseng-treated group. 2. The changes of hepatic γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in ginseng-treated group which was pretreated with ethanol except amylase, amylase activity was especially decreased in ginseng-treated group. 3. The changes of renal γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in ginseng-treated group which was pretreated with ethanol except amylase, amylase activity was especially decreased in ethanol-treated group which was pretreated with ginseng. Based on these results, it suggested that ethanol increased the concentrations of γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase but ginseng suppressed the hepatotoxic effect by ethanol.
