In the paper, an effects of second-order input intercept point and third-order input intercept point for simulation of power amplifier adjacent channel power ratio are presented. Adjacent channel power ratio is the linearity figure-of-merit for digital wireless communication systems. Adjacent channel power ratio testing is commonly used in the wireless communication to characterize the distortion performance of CDMA amplifier. Using modulation for the TIA/EIA/IS-98-A standards, measured and simulated results for a power amplifier are presented. And a minimum second--order intercept point in simulation of power amplifier adjacent channel power ratio is presented.
W-CDMA 수신기 RF system 성능 분석 및 설계

In this paper, the RF system of the W-CDMA receiver is analyzed and designed. In order to obtain precise receiving performance parameter, we calculated each parameter which complied with specification(3GPP TS 34.121 V3.2.0). Noise Figure(NF) which is key parameter of receiver is derived from the specification. Linear characteristic and noise characteristic of the receiver system are analyzed by Phase Noise(PN) and Third Order Intercept Point(IP3) respectively. In addition, sweeping of the nonlinear component parameter which affects the linear performance is examined. Finally, we designed RF system which follows the available maximum parameters and introduced it in each part.
IMT-2000 송신기 RF 시스템 설계 및 성능 분석

In this paper, the RF system of IMT-2000 transmitter is designed and analyzed. We derived RF system requirements of minimum performance for IMT-2000 transmitter from analysis of test condition in 3GPP standard(3GPP TS 34.121(v.3.2.0)) and 3GPP2 standard (TIA/EIA/IS-98-C). Using RF system requirements of minimum performance, RF system of W-CDMA and cdma2000 transmitter is designed. Maximum and minimum output power test, spurious emission test, intermodulation test is simulated to a performance analysis. and then, we performed optimization on the parameter value of power amplifier that severely affect the system performance. Simulation results for W-CDMA and cdma2000 are presented.
