Morphological Characterization and Classification of Anuran Tadpoles in Korea

The tadpoles of 12 Korean anuran species, including Bombina orientalis, Bufo gargarizans, B.chosenica, R. rugosa, and R. catesbeiana, were classified based on their morphological characteristics. We collected eggs or tadpoles of the 12 Korean anuran species from Gangwon, Incheon, Chungcheong, and Gyeong-gi districts in 2005 and 2006 breeding seasons. When the tadpoles reached at 27∼37 Gosner's developmental stages, we described morphological characteristics of the tadpoles of each anuran species and measured their physical parameters such as total length, body length, and body mass. After that, we chose 12 morphological characteristics to identify each species and to use them as classification keys such as eye location, caudal musculature pattern, spiracle location, oral disc morphology, and labial tooth row formula. We investigated the distribution of three anuran species, Three-striped pond frogs (Rananigromaculata), Bullfrogs (Rana catesbeiana ), and Narow-mouthed toads (Kaloula borealis), in an administrativeveyors were assigned to each 2 2 km2survey plot. Call surveys on whether the species are present or notwere conducted for 5 minutes between 30 minutes after sunset and the midnight on rice fields and ponds from10 April to 28 August in 2005. Depending on species, call surveys were carried out at seven to 28 plots withaverage 8.4 to 10.7 visits per the plot. We calculated the detection probabilities and occupancy rates of the threespecies using four models with three covariates: temperature, humidity, and the amount of water at the habitat.The model average detection probabilities of thre anuran species of R. nigromaculata, R. catesbeiana,and K.borealis were 0.53, 0.74, and 0.41 respectively, and the site occupancy rates of them were 0.93, 0.94, and 0.86respectively. Our results indicate thatR. nigromaculata, R. catesbeiana,and K. borealisare common in HaenamGun.

자기부상열차 실용화 사업은 차량개발과 시범노선 구축 등 상용화 기반을 마련하여 국가성장동력사업으로 육성하고 축적된 기술과 경험을 바탕으로 해외시장 진출과 더불어 국부창출을 기대하고 있다. 현재 인천국제공항 시범노선 건설을 통하여 최종 성과 검증을 위한 종합시운전을 진행하고 있으며, 특히 자기부상시스템 특성에 따른 소비전력에 대하여 최적의 운행조건, 운전패턴 및 시격조정 등 에너지 절감을 위한 시험 및 연구가 지속적으로 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 자기부상열차 자ㆍ수동운전 모드별 운행시 소비되는 에너지 특성과 전력량을 분석하였고, 기존 철제차륜 도시철도 시스템과의 에너지 소비패턴에 대하여 비교 분석 하였다. The project of commercialization of Maglev system builds up the realization of itself based on the invention of maglev train and the construction of test track. It is expected to be a national growth engine making a creation of national wealth even in the oversea markets with knowhow and experience. A final overall test of maglev system is ongoing at the In-Cheon maglev track currently, especially, the best running condition, mode, and interval are being studied consistently for more efficient energy saving with the characteristic of maglev train power consumption. This paper has done comparative analysis in the consumption of electric power of maglev train at ATO and MCS mode and compared those to power consumption of conventional train system.
