The objectives of this study were to investigate for the relationship of consumption and substitution between aquaculture species and beef using the Almost Ideal Demand System(AIDS). After the analyses of demand for all farmed raw fishes, it is shown that the own-price elasticity of cultured raw fish has negative value, which is accordant with the demand theory. For the most of the farmed raw fishes, the own-price elasticity came out to be relatively olw, it can be explained by the fact that farmed raw fish are characteristically purchased based more on quality, freshness, taste, health factors, etc than price. Cross-price elasticity between cultured raw fish and beef suggests that farmed raw fish a beef are substitutes of each other, and in between farmed raw fishers, with exception of common sea bream, price change and consumption change correlate, suggesting that the cultured raw fishes have complementary relationship. This is probably because cultured raw fish is mostly consumed in dine out atmosphere by consumers who rather than going out to eat. An the consumer is faced by decision whether he take a meat or raw fish. If they take the raw fish, usually decide on a combination of various platter rather one fish platter.
