        Effects of Flexible Pole Training Combined with Lumbar Stabilization on Trunk Muscles Activation in Healthy Adults

        Objective: This study aimed to determine the efficacy of flexible pole training combined with lumbar stabilization in improving trunk muscle activities and to investigate the difference according to posture in young adults. Methods: Twenty-five participants were enrolled in this study. The subjects were randomly allocated into either the flexible pole group or the rigid pole group. Participants performed lumbar stabilization exercises on quadruped and curl-up, with the flexible pole or rigid pole. Electromyography was used to assess the percent maximal voluntary isometric contracion (%MVIC) of the rectus abdominis (RA), external oblique (EO), internal oblique (IO), and erector spine (ES) muscles. All participants completed one 30-minute session per day, 3 days per week, for 6 weeks. The evaluation was performed before and 6 weeks after the training, and follow-up. The data were analyzed using independent t-test and two-way repeated measure analysis of variance to determine the statistical significance. Results: The flexible pole in curl-up showed significant differences in EO and IO muscle activities compared with the rigid pole. The flexible pole in quadruped showed significant differences in IO and ES muscle activities compared with the rigid pole. The RA, EO, IO, and ES muscle activities of both groups were significantly higher after 6 weeks training. Conclusion: The flexible pole in curl-up and quadruped showed an improvement in trunk muscle activation. The flexible pole combined with lumbar stabilization will be useful as an exercise tool to improve activity of trunk muscles.

        Purpose: To determine the normative data for the correlation of spinal, pelvic parameters with foot pressure in the young subjects. Methods: The subjects of this study were 39 patients in healthy adults. The Formetric-III was used to measure of spinal alignment. The pedoscan was used to measure of foot pressure. The correlation of trunk imbalance, trunk inclination, lateral deviation with foot pressure. The foot pressure measurement was consisted of maximal/mean pressure, weight contribution. Result: There was a negative correlation of trunk inclination with Max_R. There was a negative correlation of trunk inclination with Max_R. There was a positive correlation of trunk imbalance with Max_L. There was a positive correlation of lumbar lordosis with Mean_R_front, Lt. posterior weight distribution. There was a negative correlation of lumbar lordosis with Lt., Rt. in distribution There was a negative correlation of pelvic tilt with Mean_R_front, Lt. posterior weight distribution. There was a positive correlation of pelvic tilting with Rt. weight distribution, Lt. posterior weight distribution. There was a negative correlation of pelvic torsion with Lt. weight distribution, Rt. posterior weight distribution. There was a negative correlation of pelvic rotation with Lt. weight distribution, Lt. posterior weight distribution. Conclusion: The data obtained from the study may be used for future studies related to correlation of the spinal, pelvic deviation with foot pressure.

        협응이동훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 균형에 미치는 효과: 국내연구의 메타분석

        Background: This study purposed to provide meaningful information for the accumulation of knowledge on coordinative locomotor training in patients with stroke. Design: Meta-analysis. Methods: This study collected articles which the coordinative locomotor training in patients with stroke. For systematic meta-analysis, 6 articles were finally selected after searching based on the PICOSD criteria. This meta-analysis was conducted according to PRISMA guidelines. Randomized controlled trials were included and the risk of bias was evaluated for each study. Pooled standardized mean differences were calculated using a random effects model. To extract the effect size of each study, the R 3.5.3 software was used. Results: The meta-analysis showed that a total effects size was 1.23 indicating that coordinative locomotor training for patients with stroke had a maximum effect size. Conclusion: A meta-analysis is warranted for further research to determine the effects of coordinative locomotor training in patients with stroke on muscle strength, walking and range of motion.

        서비스품질 및 조직 내외부 요인이 uTradeHub 이용의도 및 지속활용에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        2008년부터 서비스가 시작된 uTradeHub 서비스는 제4차 산업혁명 기술인 블록체인, 빅데이터, AI 기술을 접목하여 더욱 향상된 서비스를 제공하고 있음에도 불구하고, 아직도 e-B/L, e-Nego와 같은 서비스의 활용이 미흡한 상황으로 이에 대한 분석과 시사점을 모색하기 위해 본 연구는 uTradeHub의 서비스품질을 측정하고, 외부요인인 조직규모 및 uTradeHub 관련 서비스경험 그리고 외부의 이용압력이 uTradeHub의 활용에 영향을 미치는지 연구하여 uTradeHub 서비스 활용에 있어 시사점을 제시하고자 하였고, 그 결과를 요약하면 첫째, uTradeHub의 서비스품질은 서비스의 이용의도와 지속활용에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째 조직의 규모 및 서비스 관련 경험은 이용의도에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째 외부의 이용압력 또한 서비스 이용에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 앞으로 uTradeHub 서비스 지속활용을 위해서는 서비스품질의 향상과 동시에 조직 내부 및 외부 촉진 요인에 대한 고려와 개선 방안도 함께 검토할 필요가 있다고 생각된다.

        협응이동훈련이 정상 성인의 지지발에 따른 족부압력분포에 미치는 변화

        PURPOSE: This study examined the foot pressure distribution using the sprinter and skater patterns of coordinative locomotor training. METHODS: Thirty healthy adults, comprising 11 men and 19 women, participated in the study. All the participants performed patterns in sprinter pattern conditions 1–3 and skater pattern conditions 1–3, and were measured using a pedoscan to determine the applied foot pressure distribution. RESULTS: The participants significantly differed in the big toe during the sprinter pattern. As a result of the post hoc test, opposite and opposite sprinters showed a significant difference from the same sprinters (same sprinter; 21.33 ± 5.92, opposite sprinter; 23.54 ± 5.41, and reopposite sprinter; 24.14 ± 6.46). There was a significant difference in the lateral side during the skater pattern. As a result of the post hoc test, reopposite and same skaters showed a significant difference from opposite skaters (same skater; 49.88 ± 5.75, opposite skater; 48.78 ± 5.64, and reopposite skater; 51.15 ± 5.37). CONCLUSION: The foot pressure was distributed toward the hallux and fifth toe according to the sprinter and skater patterns of coordinative locomotor training.

        독일 집합주택계획의 전개 과정과현대 집합주택유형 사례 연구

        The process of German collective housing planning is meaningful in examining comprehensively deploying aspects of planning foundation through defining the ideology of modern and contemporary architecture in the process of providing housing followed by social changes while rebuilding the country after two World Wars in combination with the population concentration in cities after the Industrial Revolution. We outline the characteristics and understand the types of collective housing, and the background of their interaction with urban contexts overlapping social situations and historical processes; by means of the process, the planning and designing typology which is commonly adjusted to contemporary collective housing after examining them could be understood as being aligned with the extension line of interconnecting the process of modern and contemporary era. 독일의 집합주택 계획의 과정은 산업혁명 이후 도시로의 인구집중에 의한 도시화 현상과 더불어 두 차례의 세계대전 이후 국가를 재건하는 과정에서 사회상의 변화와 더불어 주택의 공급을 도모하면서 근현대건축의 이념을 정립하는 방법을 수반하여 계획적 토대를 정립하여 온 전개 양상을 복합적으로 고찰해 보는 데에 그 의미가 있다. 이를 통하여 독일의 현대집합주택 계획의 특징과 유형의 이해, 그리고 이들이 도시적 맥락과 상호작용하게 되는 배경을 사회적 상황과 역사적 과정을 중첩하여 개괄적으로 살펴보고 현대 집합주택에 보편적으로 적용되는 계획적 유형을 고찰해 봄으로서 이들이 근현대의 과정을 이어주는 연장선상에 있음을 이해하도록 한다.

        승마기구의 훈련속도가 정상성인의 안뜰기능과 정적자세 균형에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: This study was conducted in order to determine whether mechanical horseback-riding training depending on velocity can improve vestibular function and static postural balance on standing in healthy adults. Methods: For evaluation of vestibular function, electrooculography (EOG) of vertical and horizontal was performed for identification of the motion of eyes. For evaluation of static postural balance, COP distance, time spent on the sharpened Romberg test with neck extension (SRNE) were measured. Measurements were performed three times before training, three weeks after training, and six weeks after training. Participants were randomly assigned to three groups: fast velocity-mechanical horse -riding training (FV-MHRT, n=12), moderate velocity-mechanical horse-riding training (MV-MHRT, n=12), and slow velocity-mechanical horse-riding training (SV-MHRT, n=12). Results: According to the result for vertical, horizontal EOG, there was significant interaction in each group in accordance with the experiment time (p<0.05). The FV-MHRT group showed a significant decrease compared with the MV- MHRT, SV-MHRT groups (p<0.05). According to the result for static postural balance, the time spent, COP distance in SRNE showed significant interaction in each group in accordance with the experiment time (p<0.05). The time spent on the SRNE showed a significant increas in FV-MHRT, SV-MHRT (p<0.05). The COP distance of SRNE showed a significant increase in MV-MHRT (p<0.05). Conclusion: The MHRT velocity activated mechanism of vestibular spinal reflex (VSR), vestibular ocular reflex (VOR), also helped to strengthen vestibular function and static postural balance. In addition, it should be applied to different velocity of MHRT according to the specific purpose.

      • 대학생의 배가로근과 뭇갈래근 두께와 척추정렬간의 상관관계

        Purpose: The transverse abdominis and themultifidus muscle are located in the core. They surround one's trunk and help in body stabilization. Specifically, they control spine articulation to maintain posture and balance. Therefore, weakened deep muscle in the trunk may cause spinal malalignment. This study aims to compare the correlation between the thickness of the transverse abdominis and the multifidus muscle and the spine alignment among college students in their 20s. Methods: This study measured the thickness of the transverse abdominis and the multifidus muscle of 42 healthy college students in their 20s using ultrasonic waves. The thickness of the muscle was measured for the length of the cross-section except for fascia. The thickness of the left and right muscles was measured, and the mean value was calculated. As the thickness of the transverse abdominis can increase because of pressure during exhalation, it was measured at the last moment of exhalation. Spinal alignment was measured by the kyphosis angle, lordosis angle, pelvic tilt, trunk inclination, lateral deviation, trunk imbalance, and surface rotation using Formetric III, which is a three-dimensional imaging equipment. They were measured for three times, and the mean values were calculated. The general characteristics of the subjects were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The correlations between each factor were analyzed using Pearson's correlation analysis. Results: The transverse abdominis showed asignificant correlation with trunk inclination (p<.05). The multifidus muscle showed a significant positive correlation with pelvic tilt and a negative correlation with surface rotation (p<.05). Conclusion: The thickness of transverse abdominis and the multifidus muscle appears to influence spinal alignment. Specifically, the multifidus muscle, which plays an important role on the sagittal plane, influences surface rotation, thus making it an important muscle for scoliosis patients. Therefore, a strengthening training program for the transverse abdominis and the multifidus muscle is necessary according to specific purposes among adults with spinal malalignment.

        영국의 주택유형 발달과정과 현대 블록형 집합주택 사례 연구

        영국의 주택유형은 초기 게르만 문화권에 바탕을 둔 목재를 사용한 단독주택에서 시작하여 점차 프랑스 등의 영향을 받은 라틴 문화권의 석재를 사용한 주택이 유입되며 테라스 하우스 등 다층의 주택으로 분화되었다. 오늘날 단독주택과 타운하우스 및 아파트 등 다양한 유형의 주택유형이 혼재하고 있으며 이들은 과거에서부터 이어온 주택 유형에서 그 기원을 찾을 수 있다. 영국에 존재하는 주택유형들은 이와 같이 역사적 발전과정을 통해 그 맥락을 이어 가고 있으나 영국 또한 타 문화권의 주거유형이 혼합되며 현대의 주택유형으로 이어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 20세기 이후 현대에 이르는 동안 산업시대 이전 유럽 도시구조로의 회귀적인 움직임과 중첩된 환경 속에 영국 고유의 주택 유형이 발전하는 과정과 현대의 블록형 집합주택들을 살펴보고, 우리나라의 현대적 도시구조와 이에 상응할 수 있는 주거유형을 지속적으로 고민해나가기 위해 영국의 사례를 실제적 계획의 개념으로 적용하고 있는 과정에 대하여 연 구해본다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 급속한 도시화의 과정 속에 양적인 주택공급을 넘어 주거문화의 근원적 변화를 추구 하고 있는 우리나라 주거유형의 정체성에 대해 고찰해 본다. British housing types began with detached houses using wood based on early Germanic cultures, and gradually divided into multi-story houses such as terraces houses, with the influx of houses using stone from Latin cultures influenced by France. Today, various types of housing types such as detached houses, townhouses, and apartments are mixed, and their origins can be found in housing types that have continued from the past. Housing types existing in the UK continue their context through this historical development process, but housing types in the UK also have been combined with those of other cultures, leading to modern housing types. In this paper, we examine the process of the UK’s peculiar development of housing types superimposed with the recurring motion to the traditional European urban structures prior to the industrial revolution during contemporary years, and perimeter block collective housings of today; then, we study the process of applying the UK case as a concept of practical design and planning in order to continuously consider Korea's modern urban structure and corresponding types of housing. Through this process, we explore the identity of the housing type in Korea, which is pursuing fundamental changes in residential culture beyond quantitative housing supply in the process of rapid urbanization.

        20대 남여 대학생에게 클라이밍에서의 협응이동훈련이 몸통근 두께에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of climbing training combined with coordinative locomotor training on muscle thickness in normal adults and to provide basic data regarding its applicability to clinical practice. Methods: Coordinative locomotor and climbing training was conducted three times per week for six weeks. Each exercise session consisted of ten minutes of warm-up and 40 minutes of the main exercise. A post-test was conducted six weeks after the training began, and a follow-up test was done two weeks after the training ended. Results: There were significant differences in the participants’ external and internal oblique abdominis muscles over time (p <0.05). There were also significant interactions in the external and internal oblique abdominis muscles over time and according to group (p<0.05). Conclusion: The findings indicate that coordinative locomotor training with climbing had positive effects in normal adults, including increased thickness of the external and internal oblique abdominis muscles. The findings hold value for patient rehabilitation and clinical applications and interventions using coordinative locomotor training in combination with climbing.
