최근 공교육은 많은 도전과 과제를 요구받고 있다. 급격한 사회 변화로 인해 학교 교 육이 과거와는 다른 교육문제를 야기함과 동시에 새로운 교육수요를 낳고 있는 것이다. 가족의 해체, 사회불평등 심화와 빈곤가정의 증가, 아동·청소년 돌봄 소외 현상의 증가 등은 공교육의 방향 전환을 요구하고 있다. 특히 평생학습사회의 도래 및 지식의 생성주 기 단축은 학습의 장으로서 학교가 누렸던 교육기관으로서의 독보적 위상을 흔들고, 학 교로부터 구체적 변화를 일으킬 것을 촉구하고 있다.

결혼이주여성 강사의 초등학생 다문화 이해 교육의 프로그램 개발 및 효과

본 연구는 결혼이주여성을 활용한 다문화 이해교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 초등학생을 대상으로 다문화 이해 교육 프로그램을 실시한 효과가 어떠한지 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 결혼이주여성 강사교육프로그램을 사례 분석하였으며, 초등학교 학생들의 다문화 인식변화를 알아보기 위해 사전, 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 결혼이주여성 강사를 활용한 다문화 이해교육은 그들만이 가진 장점을 활용해 <1. 무엇을하고 놀았는가? 2. 어떤 물건을 사용하는가? 3, 어떤 말을 사용하나? 4. 어디서 살고 있나? 5. 어떤 생각을 하고 있나?> 5가지 영역의 활동 주제로 나누어 각 나라의 생활문화 체험과 언어이해, 문화 공감을 목표로 한다. 결혼이주여성들의 다문화 이해수업 연구측정도구는 이지영(2013)의 “중학생들의 다문화 수용성에 대한 연구”와 김미진(2011)의 “아동의 다문화 수용성 척도개발에 관한 연구”에서 사용한 검사지를 본 연구에 맞게 수정하여 사용하였다. 연구에서는 다문화적 개방성과 다문화적 민감성, 그리고 이를 종합한 다문화적 인식의 변화 정도를 비교 하였다. 다문화적 개방성, 민감성 그리고 다문화적 인식의 변화 정도를 비교하기 위해 사전, 사후 검사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 독립표본t검정을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 다문화적 개방성, 민감성과 다문화적 인식 모두 사전조사보다 사후조사의 측정값이 높게 측정되었으며, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이(유의수준 .001)를 보였다. 이것은 결혼이주여성들의 다문화 이해수업이 학생들의 다문화 인식변화에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 볼 수 있으며, 결혼 이주 여성들의 다문화 이해수업은 학생들의 다문화적 인식을 넓힐 수 있도록 장려될 필요가 있다고 생각할 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to develop a multicultural understanding education program using marriage migrant women and to clarify the effect of conducting a multicultural understanding education program for elementary school students. To this end, a case analysis was conducted on the education program for married migrant women, and pre-tests and post-tests were conducted to find out aboutchanges in multicultural perception of elementary school students. Multicultural understanding education using marriage migrant female instructors utilizes their own strengths. <1. What did you do to play? 2. What objects do you use? 3. What words do I use? 4. Where are you living? 5. What are you thinking?> It aims to experience each country's living culture, understand language, and empathize with culture by dividing it into the above five areas of activity topics. The test papers used in Lee Ji-young's 2013 Study on Multicultural Acceptance of Middle School Students and Kim Mi-jin's 2011 Study on the Development of Multicultural Acceptance Scale for Children were modified to suit this study. In the study, multicultural openness, multicultural sensitivity, and the degree of change in multicultural perception were compared. Pre- and post-tests were conducted to compare the degree of change in multicultural openness, sensitivity, and multicultural perception, and the collected data were subjected to an independent sample t-test. As a result of the study, multicultural openness, sensitivity, and multicultural perception were all measured to have higher measurements of post-investigation than pre-investigation, and statistically significant differences (level of significance .001) was shown. This can be seen as a positive effect on the change in students' multicultural perception of marriage migrant women, and it can be thought that multicultural understanding of marriage migrant women needs to be encouraged to broaden students' multicultural perception.
