        카메라 시스템에서 일반적인 Noise Reduction방법은 Noise간에 서로 Correlation이 없고 Independent 한 White Noise이며, Zero Mean Noise라는 가정 하에 설계된 것이다. 본 논문에서는, 실제 Non-zero Mean Noise 현상을 규명하고, 이에 의해 발생한 Low Level Signal의 Boost-up 및 High Level Signal의 Drag-down을 Correction하여 화질을 개선하기 위한 방안을 제안한다.

        리퀴리티게닌과 리퀴리틴을 담지한 에토좀의 특성 및 경피 전달

        Liquiritin and its aglycone, liquiritigenin are flavonoid found in licorice that show anti-oxidant and anti-aging properties. In this study, ethosomes loaded with hydrophobic liquiritigenin or liquiritin were prepared as a transdermal delivery system. The particle size, entrapment efficiency, and skin permeability of ethosomes were evaluated. Ethosome containing liquiritigenin was stable up to 2 mM and ethosome containing liquiritin was stable up to 0.75 mM concentration. The particle size of ethosomes containing 0.75 mM liquiritigenin and liquiritin was 143.85 and 158.90 nm, respectively and the entrapment efficiency was 47.51 and 54.61%, respectively. The entrapment efficiency was improved with increasing concentrations of drugs. Ethosomes loaded with liquiritigenin or liquiritin were superior in skin permeation ability compared to that of 20% ethanol solution and conventional liposomes. These results suggest that ethosomes containing 0.50 mM liquiritigenin or liquiritin are effective for the skin permeation and may be used as an antiaging and antioxidant ingredient in cosmetic formulation.

        떡쑥 추출물의 항산화 효과 및 활성 성분 분석

        본 연구에서는 떡쑥 추출물의 항산화 활성 및 활성 성분을 확인하였다. 모든 실험은 떡쑥 추출물의 70% 에탄올 추출물, 에틸아세테이트 분획, 아글리콘 분획을 이용하여 진행하였다. DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) 법을 이용한 free radical 소거활성(FSC<sub>50</sub>)은 에틸아세테이트 분획(6.15 μg/mL)이 비교물질인 (+)-α-tocopherol (8.89 μg/mL)보다 높게 나타났다. 루미놀 발광법을 이용한 Fe<sup>3+</sup>-EDTA/H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>계에서 생성된 활성산소종(reactive oxygen species, ROS)에 대한 떡쑥 추출물의 총 항산화능(OSC<sub>50</sub>)은 70% 에탄올 추출물의 경우 1.60 μg/mL, 에틸아세테이트 분획의 경우 0.075 μg/mL, 아글리콘 분획의 경우 2.28 μg/mL로 비교물질인 L-ascorbic acid (6.88 μg/mL)보다 큰 활성을 나타내었다. 사람 적혈구의 <sup>1</sup>O<sub>2</sub>로 유도된 세포손상에 대한 보호효과 실험에서 70% 에탄올 추출물과 아글리콘 분획의 τ50은 10 μg/mL에서 각각 52.0, 60.6 min으로 지용성 항산화제로 알려진 (+)-α-tocopherol (38.0 min)보다 더 큰 세포 보호 효과를 나타내었다. TLC와 HPLC를 이용한 아글리콘 분획의 성분분석 결과 luteolin, apigenin 등이 존재함을 확인하였다. 이상의 결과들로부터 떡쑥 추출물은 라디칼을 포함한 활성산소종을 소거하는 항산화제로서 응용될 수 있음을 시사한다. In this work, the antioxidative effects and active component analysis of Gnaphalium affine D. DON. (G. affine) extracts were investigated. All experiments were performed with 70% ethanol extract, ethyl acetate fraction and aglycone fraction of the G. affine extract. The free radical (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl, DPPH) scavenging activity (FSC<sub>50</sub>) of ethyl acetate fraction (6.15 μg/mL) of the G. affine was higher than that of (+)-α-tocopherol (8.89 μg/mL), which is known as a reference control. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging activities (OSC<sub>50</sub>) of the 70% ethanol extract (1.60 μg/mL), ethyl acetate fraction (0.075 μg/mL) and aglycone fraction (2.28 μg/mL) of extract of G. affine on ROS generated in Fe<sup>3+</sup>-EDTA/H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> system using the luminol-dependent chemiluminescence assay were much higher than that of L-ascorbic acid (6.88 μg/mL). The cellular protective effects of 70% ethanol extract (τ<sub>50</sub> = 52.0 min) and aglycone fraction of the extract (τ<sub>50</sub> = 60.6 min) on the <sup>1</sup>O<sub>2</sub>-induced cellular damage of human erythrocytes were exhibited the higher protective effect than (+)-α-tocopherol (τ<sub>50</sub> = 38.0 min), known as a lipophilic antioxidant. TLC and HPLC were used to analyse active components in the aglycone fraction of the extract. Results showed that luteolin and apigenin were main components. These results suggest that the G. affine extract can be applied to an effective antioxidant in scavenging ROS including radicals.

        아이소리퀴리티게닌을 담지한 2-하이드록시프로필-베타사이클로덱스트린의물리화학적 특성 및 항균활성 연구

        Isoliquiritigenin (ILG) is a hydrophobic component in licorice and has a variety of pharmaceutical and biological activities. In this study, we prepared an isoliquiritigenin-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (ILG/HP-β-CD) complex by freeze-drying method to enhance its water solubility. The complex was characterized by phase solubility studies, DSC, SEM, and 1H NMR. Antimicrobial activities against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E. coli) were evaluated by broth dilution method. The results showed that the stoichiometry of ILG/HP-β-CD complex was 1 : 1. The antimicrobial activity of ILG/HP-β-CD complex was higher than that of using free ILG against S. aureus and E. coli. Therefore, we suggest that ILG/HP-β-CD complex may be used as a natural antiseptic and could potentially replace synthetic preservatives in cosmetic and food industries.

        This paper is to clarify the relationship between participation in physical leisure activities, past exercise experience and social psychological health in the urban aged. For this purpose, through multi-stage random sampling, a total of 328 (176 males; 152 females) were selected among the old in their 65 to 75 in Seoul. As for the measuring instrument, SAS (Self-rating Anxiety Scale), developed by Zung(1971), and the questionnaires, translated by Jang Dong-san et al. (1988), were used for the measurement of anxiety; SDS (Self-rating Depression Scale), developed by Zung and Durham (1965) and translated by Jang Dong-san (1988), was used for the measurement of melancholy; the questionnaire, translated and standardized by Baek He-won (1993) from SES (Self-Esteem scale) of Rosenberg (1965), was used for the measurement of self-esteem; and LSI-W Life Satisfaction Index-Well-Being), standardized by Bigot(1974), was used for life satisfaction. Through analysis of the relationship between participation in physical leisure activities, past exercise experience and social psychological health in the urban aged, the conclusion was drawn as follows: There are differences in social psychological health according to physical leisure activities. Both males and females showed statistically significant differences in self-esteem, life satisfaction, melancholy and anxiety according to participation in physical leisure activities. That is, as compared with the group of non-participation in exercises, the groups of regular participation and participation in exercises related with sports showed higher self-esteem and life satisfaction, and lower melancholy and anxiety
