        A great numbers of cultural properties destroyed though attack by insect pests and microorganisms. Biodeterioration damage is particularly serious in this country because many cultural propertiese are made of organic materials. Recently, there are various countermeasures of biodeterioration or alternative methods are reported, such as Gamma Radiation, Micro-wave Irridation, Freezing, Inert Atmosphere (Oxygen-less atmosphere), and Environmental Control. However its practical application are limited and some difficulties for treatment of large objects. Fumigation is one of the most useful and effective methods of control biodeterioration because it gives less damage of cultural properties but rapidly eradicate infesting organisms at one action. This paper evaluated selected fumigants and fumigation methods with emphasis on the following paragraph:1) Effectiveness of selected fumigants on insects and microbes involved inbiodeterioration.2) Physical and chemical characters of selected fumigants.3) Less toxic new alternative fumigant and its mixtures.4) Inert atmosphere (Oxygen-less atmosphere)5) Methods of fumigation : Sealed fumigation, Covered fumigation and Vacuum fumigation (Reduced-pressure fumigation)

        경향성 분석 기반의 위성탑재 영상레이다 원격 측정 데이터 축소 기법

        SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) is a equipment that acquire ground image scene using radar signal. After launch, it is only possible to check SAR Payload health status based on telemetry data transmitted to ground station. In the previous systems, only dedicated telemetries with corse resolution are transmitted because of insufficient memory size and link access time. In this paper, we propose novel algorithm of the SAR telemetry reduction based on trend analysis. We analyze acquired telemetry value trend and make a structure based on this information. Our algorithm makes over 50% data size reduction result based on SAR telemetry data in nominal operation of dawn-dusk low earth orbit. Reduction data has advantage to store size and data transmission time and ground station an restore and check whole acquired telemetry data.

        위성 탑재 영상레이다 촬영시간 보정 기법 설계 및 구현

        Satellite SAR performs imaging mission according to tele-commands(TCs) planned and transmitted from ground stations. Satellite position and orbit information used by ground stations in mission planning is based on predictive information, so it can have minor difference of imaging start time. To overcome these limitations, the function of adjusting the original imaging time by recalculating time based on the current satellite position and orbit information is called ‘imaging time correction’ (ITC) techniques. In this study, the design to be implemented by the Satellite SAR Payload were presented to apply the ITC technique. And operation considerations for close continuous imaging mission were presented. The ground test was conducted after implementation, and functionality was confirmed through SAR event log analysis based on various mission scenario. 위성 탑재 영상레이다는 지상국에서 계획 및 전송된 촬영 명령에 의해 임무를 수행한다. 지상에서 임무계획에 사용하는 위성 위치 및 궤도정보는 예측 정보를 이용하기 때문에 미세한 촬영 시작시간 차이가 발생할 수 있다. 이런 제약사항 극복을 위해, 영상 촬영 임무 직전 현재 위성 위치정보를 기반으로 촬영 시점을 재계산하여 기존 촬영 시간을 조절하는 기능을 ‘촬영 시간 보정 기법’(Imaging Time Correction)이라 한다. 본 연구에서는 촬영 시간 보정 기법 구현을 위한 영상레이다 탑재체 기능 설계 사항을 제시하였다. 그리고 촬영 시간 보정기법 적용 시, 밀집된 연속 촬영 임무에서 발생할 수 있는 운용 고려사항을 제시하였다. 제시된 설계 사항을 구현하여 지상시험을 수행하였으며, 영상레이다 이벤트 로그 분석을 기반으로 다양한 임무 시나리오에서 의도한대로 로그가 기록되는 것을 확인하였다.

        노인요양시설에 있는 노인환자의 구강실태 및 치료수요도

        문제제기: 노인요양시설은 치과진료영역 가운데 가장 취약한 상태에 놓여 있고 신체적, 정신적 장애로 인해 주관적 치료요구도를 파악할 수 없는 상태지만 이에 대한 기초적인 실태조사가 전무한 상태이다. 목적: 본 연구는 노인요양시설에서 노인환자들의 치아우식증에 의한 구강실태를 조사하고, 기능치아와 보철물로 이루어진 교합단위를 분석하여 그에 따른 치과치료수요도를 분석하는데 목적이 있으며 향후 적절한 진료방향을 수립하는데 기여하고자 한다. 연구재료 및 방법: 노인요양시설에서 758명의 노인환자와 D치과의원에 내원한 212명의 65세 이상인 노인을 대상으로 2000년 국민구강건강실태조사에서 작성된 치아우식검진지침에 입각하여 구강실태조사를 시행하였다. 결과: 노인요양시설의 노인에게서 고령으로 갈수록 대조군에 비해 악화되고 있는 구강상태를 알 수 있었고 매우 높은 치료수요를 파악할 수 있었다. 고찰: 노인환자의 구강건강관리를 위해서는 무엇보다도 이들을 보살피는 간병인과 간호 인력들이 가지고 있는 구강건강의 중요성에 대한 인식을 바꾸기 위한 노력이 절실히 필요한 상황이다. 이제는 무치악 환자에게 시행되고 있는 일회성 의치사업 일변도의 복지정책방향을 보건복지부와 일선 지방자치단체에서 사후관리를 원칙으로 한 전문가에 의한 무치악 환자의 의치사업으로 강화해야 하며 유치악의 노인환자들에 대한 정기적인 치과검진을 시행하고 이동진료 및 왕진시스템이 보완된 구강건강관리 및 보존, 수복진료 형태로의 전환을 고려할 시점이라 생각된다. Statement of problems: In the area of dental care, the institutionalized elderly have placed the most vulnerable state, and we cannot find their subjective need of dental treatment because of the physical and mental disabilities, But we have no basic investigation of their oral health conditions. Purpose: The aims of the current study were to investigate the oral health status of institutionalized elderly patients who are in the least benefited side of dental service, and to analyze their dental treatment needs. Material and methods: The survey of the oral status was carried out on 758 institutionalized elderly, and 212 elderly who was more than 65 years old from D dental office, and it was based on the Guidelines of Oral Health Research of year 2000 in Republic of Korea. Results and conclusion: The DMFT index of the institutionalized elderly appeared higher than that of the same ages in control group, and it increased with age. The number of residual teeth of the institutionalized elderly appeared lower than that of the same ages in control group, and it decreased with age (P < .05). The number of fixed partial denture in institutionalized elderly was lower than that of the same ages in control group (P < .05). The percentage wearing removable partial denture was not significant between the elderly in institutions and the control group, and was not different according to age between the two groups. The percentage of institutionalized elderly wearing complete denture appeared lower than that of the same ages in control group, and it increased with age. The percentage of institutionalized elderly needing complete denture was higher than that of control group, and the percentage of elderly needing complete denture on the maxilla was higher than that of the mandible. 16.35% of the institutionalized elderly was living without denture in spite of their fully edentulous state. The need for complete denture increased rapidly with age. The number of valued teeth and dental prostheses in shortened dental arch concept and number of occluding pairs of teeth of institutionalized elderly were lower than that of the control group (P < .05). In institutionalized elderly, the number of residual teeth, the number of fixed partial dentures, and the percentage wearing removable partial dentures were higher in the mandible, and the percentage wearing complete dentures was higher in the maxilla (P < .05). The rate of institutionalized elderly needing prosthodontic treatment appeared to be 67.82%, where the number of occluding pairs of teeth was less than 10. When it is difficult to evaluate the subjective need of dental treatment as with the institutionalized elderly, estimation using the number of occluding pairs of teeth can be a useful indicator that can project treatment needs. For the oral health care of institutionalized elderly, it is essential to increase the awareness of nurses and caregivers who take care of them, about the importance of the oral health. Since the average life span and number of residual teeth are increasing gradually, the welfare policy should be changed to implementing regular dental examinations, preservative treatment forms and oral health control of dentulous patients where the traveling-treatment system and visit system are supplemented. And principles should be set that the present denture project of edentulous patients should be done by specialists who'll also be responsible for postmanagement. Through this research of institutionalized elderly, the oral health status which is worsened by aging could be confirmed. And the interest and positive participation of dental society on the elderly should come first in order to solve the rising treatment needs of the elderly patients.

        고장에 강건한 위성 탑재 영상레이다 상태천이 설계

        In SAR Payload, Equipment Power configuration is managed based on ‘State’ for efficient power management and protecting space radiation. Because some equipment power on and off is performed during state transition, it is very important to fault detection and management procedure. However, it is not widely researched in previous satellite SAR payload system. In this paper, we propose fault tolerance SAR state transition design that considering Fault situation. For this, we design equipment on/off sequence explicitly during state transition. And we adopt periodic fault monitoring concept during state transition and transition to ‘REFUSE’ state for fault isolation if fault detected. Based on these design concept, we implement SAR SW and perform on-ground test. As the On ground test, we confirm that Our SAR system do perform predictable action and it is possible to develop more reliable SAR payload system.

        강유전체 BiFeO<sub>3</sub>가 증착된 TiO<sub>2</sub> 전극을 이용한 염료감응형 태양전지의 효율 향상

        Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) based on titanium dioxide ($TiO_2$) have been extensively studied because of their promising low-cost alternatives to conventional semiconductor based solar cells. DSSCs consist of molecular dye at the interface between a liquid electrolyte and a mesoporous wide-bandgap semiconductor oxide. Most efforts for high conversion efficiencies have focused on dye and liquid electrolytes. However, interface engineering between dye and electrode is also important to reduce recombination and improve efficiency. In this work, for interface engineering, we deposited semiconducting ferroelectric $BiFeO_3$ with bandgap of 2.8 eV on $TiO_2$ nanoparticles and nanotubes. Photovoltaic properties of DSSCs were characterized as a function of thickness of $BiFeO_3$. We showed that ferroelectric $BiFeO_3$-coated $TiO_2$ electrodes enable to increase overall efficiency of DSSCs, which was associated with efficient electron transport due to internal electric field originating from electric polarization. It was suggested that engineering the dye-$TiO_2$ interface using ferroelectric materials as inorganic modifiers can be key parameter for enhanced photovoltaic performance of the cell.

        고강도 내마모 금속간화합물 / Al 기지 복합재료의 개발을 위한 기초연구

        N/A The interfacial phenomena between intermetallic compounds and Al matrix have been studied at 680℃ for various holding time under argon atmosphere. Model experiments were performed using Fe, Ni and Ti wire to observe the interfacial phenomena. The interfacial phenomena between intermetallic compounds and Al matrix were analysed by optical microscope, SEM and EDX. The results of EDX and XRD showed that the interfacial zones of intermetallic compounds/Al matrix were composed of several intermetallic layers. The reaction layer was varied with holding time and heating temperature. The investigation of interfacial zones in the specimen as a function of heat treatment time at 680℃ indicated that the best heat treatment condition for squeeze casting was 680℃ for 5min.
