소프트웨어프리랜서의 경력몰입이 프로젝트 중도 포기 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 조직몰입의 매개효과와 경력기간의 조절효과

4차 산업혁명, 긱 이코노미(gig economy)로 인해 새로운 일자리로 프리랜서가 주목받고 있다. 이러한 변화의 기반인 소프트웨어 산업도 프리랜서의 역할과 규모가 증가하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 소프트웨어 기업의 사용자는 개발 프로젝트에서 소프트웨어프리랜서를 통해서 이윤을 창출하고 있지만, 사용자는 프리랜서에 대한 인적자원관리 방안이 없어서 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 이를 해결하기 위해서 소프트웨어프리랜서 대상의 총 250부의 설문을 활용해 이들의 프로젝트 중도 포기를 낮추는 방안에 대해 구조방정식 모형 분석을 하였고, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 소프트웨어프리랜서의 경력몰입이 프로젝트 중도 포기의도에 영향을 미치지 않음을 확인하였다. 둘째 소프트웨어프리랜서의 경력몰입이 조직몰입에 유의한 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 셋째, 소프트웨어프리랜서의 조직몰입이 프로젝트 중도 포기의도에 유의한 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 넷째, 소프트웨어프리랜서의 경력몰입이 조직몰입을 매개하여 프로젝트 중도 포기의도에 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 다섯째, 소프트웨어프리랜서의 경력몰입과 조직몰입 사이에서 프리랜서 활동 경력기간의 유의한 조절효과를 확인하였다. 본 연구는 소프트웨어프리랜서가 프로젝트를 완수하게 하려면 조직몰입이 중요한 요소임을 확인하였고, 프리랜서로 활동한 경력기간에 따라 조직몰입이 달라짐을 밝혔다. 소프트웨어프리랜서의 조직몰입을 관리한다면 사용자의 프로젝트 성공률을 높이는데 도움이 될 것이다. Freelancers are attracting attention for new jobs due to the 4th industrial revolution and the gig economy. In the SW industry, the role and size of freelancers appears to be increasing. Employers of SW companies are making profits through SW freelancers in development projects, but employers are having difficulties in managing human resources of freelancers. In order to solve this problem, this study conducted a structural equation model analysis on how to lower their project abandonment by using a total of 250 questionnaires for SW freelancers, and the following results were obtained. First, their career commitment does not significantly affect their intention to give up on a project. Second, their career commitment has a significant effect on organizational commitment. Third, their organizational commitment has a significant effect on their intention to give up on a project. Fourth, their career commitment mediates organizational commitment and significantly affects their intention to give up on a project. Fifth, between their career commitment and organizational commitment, the length of their freelance career had a significant moderating effect. This study confirmed that organizational commitment is an important factor for SW freelancers to complete their projects, and revealed that organizational commitment varies according to the length of their freelance career. Managing the organizational commitment of software freelancers will help increase the project success rate from the user"s point of view.

Most naval underwater weapon system can be simplified to a circular cylindrical structure which has vibrating machineries inside. In order to predict efficiently the total acoustic radiation power of cylindrical structure, surface velocity is measured and radiation efficiency of surface element is calculated. Then, they are substituted to the surface pressure in the simplified Helmholtz integral equation which assumes acoustic far-field and plane-wave approximation at the surface. Surface velocity and total acoustic radiation power for a submerged cylinder are measured in water-tank. In this example, it is found that total acoustic power output obtained from the prediction is in good agreement with that of measurement in mid-high frequency range.

Underwater radiation noise is an important characteristic in the naval weapon system. In this study, acoustic radiation efficiency of a circular cylindrical structure is measured in the reverberant water tank. It is difficult to measure the radiation efficiency of underwater structure, such as UUV and weapons in real operation environment. Therefore, the structure is excited by interior-shakers and the vibration level and the acoustic radiation power of the structure is measured in the laboratory water tank. Reverberation time is measured and the acoustic radiation power is corrected by subtracting the reverberation sound power level from that measured directly. As a result, the acoustic radiation efficiency is calculated, and it can be used for predicting the underwater radiation noise and effectiveness of radiation reduction means.

This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation of the correlation between the lubrication characteristics of an engine and its fuel economy. Improving the lubrication characteristics of the engine oil is one of the most efficient ways to improve a car’s fuel economy. The methods to accomplish this include lowering the viscosity, adding a friction modifier and optimizing the shear stability index of a viscosity index improver. In addition, it is necessary to use different methods to reduce the friction to individual lubrication areas, because different lubrication regimes are used for different engine parts. The experimental investigation in this study is based on design of experiments ; this paper presents the results of a modified Sequence VID test, which is an ASTM standard test used to measure the effects of automotive engine oils on the fuel economy of passenger cars. The results demonstrate the effects of the following lubrication factors on the fuel economy : the low temperature cranking viscosity, high-temperature high shear (HTHS) viscosity, friction modifier, polymer type and shear stability index of the viscosity index improver. Moreover, this study involves an analysis of variance based on design of experiments. The test results show that the HTHS viscosity, friction modifier and shear stability index of the viscosity index improver are more effective than the other factors. Therefore, lowering the viscosity, adding a friction modifier and optimizing the shear stability index of a viscosity index improver should be considered to improve fuel economy.
