        Purpose: The purpose of this research is to suggest the utilization of Vibra Image, a high-end device, to improve the reliability and the accuracy of the polygraph which is actively used in the investigation process in spite of the controversies including the theoretical issue. To meet this goal, the database that can show the possible improvement in reliability and the accuracy is needed to be constructed by comparing the performance of the previous polygraph and the non-contact type Vibra Image and by inducing the conformity degree between the devices. Methods: Guiltiness Recognition Test in the simulated internal irregularity investigation case for police cadets is used to compare the performance of the previous polygraph and the non-contact type Vibra Image and to induce the conformity degree between the devices. The simulated case "18 million won cash have been stolen from the office safe" was investigated for 12 weeks at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency by the 6 examining officer trainees, consisting of the roles of 3 examining officers and 3 subjects. Conclusion: All of the examining officer trainees have succeeded in searching out the internal criminals in this simulation. Every result from the result from Vibra Image matched the result from the precious polygraph. Vibra Image can improve the public order service for the subjects by offering the convenience of non-contact type method and by decreasing the time required. Futhermore, it can be used in various cases such as recently increasing need for polygraph, information leakage, dealing with sex offenders, hiring a police officer, regular aptitude test for nuclear plant employees and etc. It is expected that, if the standardization of it can be achieved by gathering the future case studies which could be done in the institutions other than Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, the reliability and the accuracy of the previous. polygraph will be improved.

      • 과학수사를 위한 검시관 활동에 대한 조직 발전방향 연구

        한 사람의 인간으로 태어나 죽음에 이르기까지 모든 과정은 소중한 것이기에 귀하게 다루어져야 하는데 한 인간으로 죽음은 그 원인을 정확하게 밝혀서 이루어져야 한다. 하지만 현대 사회는 지문 등을 남기지 않는 지능화되고 수법도 발전하고 있으며 범죄의 양상도 다양하게 변화하고 있어서 더욱 범인을 찾아내기 힘들어 지고 있는 것이 사회 현실이다. 이와 더불어 과학수사 분야도 함께 발전해 가고 변화해 가고 있는데 그 분야 중 유전자 감식분야가 차지하는 비중이 더 커졌다. 또한 이런 과학수사 분야 중 우리나라는 사회적 무관심 속에 현장에서 검시가 시행되어 왔고 아직까지도 법률상문제로 인해 많은 문제점이 나타나고 있다. 이런 점을 해소하기 위해 경찰청에서 임상병리학, 간호학 또는 생명공학등 다양한 경력을 가진 전공자 중에 검시관이라는 명칭으로 채용하였고 각 지방경찰청 과학수사계에 배치되었고 활동을 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 활발한 활동을 하고 있는 검시관의 개념 및 도입배경을 알아보고 유전자감식과의 관계를 살펴보았다. 또한 검시를 시행함에 있어서 법규에 따른 문제점과 해결방안을 분석하였고 검시인력의 부족으로 인해 나타나는 여러 현상과 충원의 필요성에 대해 살펴보았다. From a birth to a death as human, all process are most valuable, which ishandled carefully. Also the cause of death as a human should be exactly seen in the public. Crime are going through drastic transformation due to rapid changes in the recent society, and getting cleverer and more intelligent. Therefore we can very seldom find fingerprints as well as suspect. In company with these situation, fields of scientific investigation have been also developed, share of the field of genetic testing is larger than any other forensic technique in particular. Even to this time, there are so many problems in relation to post mortem examination has been done at the fields because of a social apathy and legal problems among these scientific investigation fields in our nation. Police agency has been trying to solve these problems in employing a name of medical investigator with career who majors in clinical laboratory science, the science of nursing and biotechnology, works for provincial police agency. In this study, we looked into a concept, background of medical investigator and searched a worker has been accomplished as a scientific investigator connected with genetic investigation. We look into a needing supplement of the personnel and various symptoms which do not have enough workers of post mortem examination.

        Orthopantomogram의 像層面積에 있어서의 像擴大에 關한 硏究

        In the study of magnification of image in the focal trough of panoramic radiography, (Yoshida company Panoura-Eight-s), a series of 63 x-ray films were taken with the 8-19 metal pins placed in the holes of the plastic plate, measured and evaluated by 4 observes. The author analyzed the vertical and horizontal magnification rate in the corrected focal trough. Results were as follows: 1. For vertical measurements, magnification rates were minimum 10% maximum 36% and the magnification for image of medial side was larger than that of image of lateral side from image layer. 2. For horizontal measurements, magnification rates were minimum-14% maximum 46% and images of medical side from focal trough were magnified and images oflateral side from focal trough were retrenched. 3. When moved 10mm downward accusal layer, interspace was somewhat narrow between the pins and upper sides of pins were horizontally magnified but images of the end parts of pins showed tapered form. 4. When moved 10mm downward from the occlusal layer, opposite images showed overlapping.

        The introduction of the tubular system for resisting lateral loads has brought about a revolution In the design of high-rise buildings. All recent high-rise buildings in excess of 50 to 60 stones employ the tubular concept in one form or another. Specifically, the hybrid tube systems which are combined with other structural systems based on the framed tube system effectively control shear lag phenomenon and lateral drift when lateral loads act on the structure. This paper presents several hybrid tube systems which have same sectional areas of comer columns and inner columns under the same top drift and estimates behavior and economical efficiency of the systems on the lateral loads.
