One of the primary features of nanoindentation is that many mechanical properties can be solely determined by just analyzing the indentation load - penetration depth data alone without the additional observations of the residual indentation impression. Thus, to extract the accurate mechanical properties from the indentation response, it is very important to measure exactly the true contact area between indenter and materials during indentation. This study is designed to investigate the effect of different E/σy and strain hardening exponents on the formation of pile-up/sink-in during indentation. Also, the relationship between the pile-up/sink-in and the mechanical properties of the indented materials were defined by dimensional analysis and numerically formulated using indentation FE simulations of 140 cases.

The 5㎾ SOFC(Solid Oxide Fuel Cell) System is composed to 3㎾ parallel Fuel Cell. We propose to the parallel control of 5㎾ PCS in the unbalance condition of fuel cell. The developed 5㎾ PCS can be found control ability of DC/DC converters in the operating conditions of the unbalanced parallel operation. It is verify to the control characteristics by simulation and experiment.
