Position information is very important when driving the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM). Generally, resolver is used to obtain exact position information. However, it generates periodic position errors due to the transformer ratio difference and excitation signal distortion. When the vector control is done with the position information that includes position error, torque ripple is periodically generated. This paper proposes the solution through analysis of above problem. Also, it’s validity is verified by simulation and experiment.

The phase angle of the utility voltage is used in current control of grid-tied fuel cell power converter. Therefore if the detection of phase angle is a problem, Current control is affected by the distorted phase angle. This paper presents a problem of synchronous reference frame PLL algorithm for single-phase systems and proposes compensated synchronous reference frame PLL algorithm. The proposed method helps power quality improvement of grid-tied fuel cell power converter under distorted utility conditions. Simulation and experimental results are presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.

In this study, we develop analytical model of the load-sensing valve and analyze the system characteristics. In order to analyze characteristics of the pressure and flow and flow sharing of the load-sensing valve, test was performed on valve and vehicle. The authors studied the reliability of the analysis model by confirming the similarity of the analysis results and the test results before analyzing the characteristics of the system. Under the vehicle load conditions, The authors was performed evaluating effectiveness of the specific operation of the excavator.

The 5㎾ SOFC(Solid Oxide Fuel Cell) System is composed to 3㎾ parallel Fuel Cell. We propose to the parallel control of 5㎾ PCS in the unbalance condition of fuel cell. The developed 5㎾ PCS can be found control ability of DC/DC converters in the operating conditions of the unbalanced parallel operation. It is verify to the control characteristics by simulation and experiment.

This study was designed to estimate the effects of process variables on wrinkling of NIMONIC 75 sheets in multi-stage deep drawing process. Process variables were a blank holding force (BHF), a die R, a punch R and drawing ratio. They were investigated for two stages deep drawing process. Effects of each variable were estimated using finite element method and a design of experiment.

This paper was designed to fabricate the hollow helical gear with pitch circle of 2.55 mm using extrusion process of a solution treated Zn-22wt%Al powder billet. Extrusion experiments were carried out under the following conditions: temperature, 250˚C, extrusion velocity, 0.1mm/min and mandrel diameter, 1.5mm. The mechanical properties of extruded helical gears were investigated by measurement of Vickers hardness, extrusion load and SEM observation.
