The objective of this study is to analize the system of legal compensation for the fishery loses caused by public works and to suggest alternatives on the current compensation system. Korea government has been performing reclamation activities in coastal region to conduct farm, urban and industrial area, and such activities are still going on in Yeongjongdo airport area, Saemangeum area and so on. Reclamation interrupts fishing activities in or around the reclaiming area, therefore, the compensation for fishery losses incurred by fishermen should be made. The system of legal compensation in Korea, however, is based on the land compensation, and the regulation of the compensation for fishery losses in the Fishery Act can not be applied for the compensation of public works because the procedure of the compensation in the Fishery Act is different from its cause of action. Therefore, this study is caried out to suggest a resonable compensation procedure and to provide a basis for establishing legal system.

In order to screen new radical scavenging principle which is expected to be antiaging drug lead, we have investigated 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity of the marine microalgae, greenalgae(10 speices), diatom (10 speices) and blue-green algae (10 speices). The significant activities$(IC_{50}:\;<100\;{mu}g/ml)$ were observed in 4 species of green algae (MA002, 006, 009, 010), 1 species of diatom (MA015) and 5 species of blue-green algae (MA017, 018, 019, 024, 025). Within the scope of family tested, MA009 $(IC_{50}:\;=78\;{mu}g/ml)$, MA015 $(IC_{50}:\;=38\;{mu}g/ml)$ and MA019 $(IC_{50}:\;=41\;{mu}g/ml)$ displayed the most significant activity. Among the marine microalgae tested at family level, cyanophycean blue-green algae was shown to be the most active family on screening of new bioactive compounds.
간척매립지에 대한 수요자행태분석에 관한 연구 ; 다차원척도 기법의 응용

Owing to the continual economic growth and increasing population, it poses the reasonability of the optimal reclamation use. To solve this problem, the MDS method is used in this study. This method shows the preference of the regional habitant for the regional planning, regional development. Therefore, this study boosts the decision making of the preference of the reclamation land. This study intended to evaluate the specific area in Jeon Nam province resident`s ranking by the each factor affection the decision making the reclamation land preference. In order to accomplish the study objective as mentioned above, this study is applied the MDS method. The results of this study are summarized as follows. (1) Dimension 1 shows the size group of urban site. (2) Dimension 1 shows the size group of industry site. The limitation of this study is that specially these group cannot be compared with the correlation in consumer. In conclusion, this study is attempted to measure the local area resident`s preference with the MDS making use of the ranking data. Therefore, this MDS results(perceptual map of land) need to be compared with the another MDS results(perceptual map of land/consumer) forwards and the experimental design needs to be calibrated more.
