지역사회정체성과 상대적 박탈감이 스포츠팀 정체성에 미치는 영향

이 연구는 팀정체성의 선행요인으로서의 상대적 박탈감과 지역사회정체성의 영향을 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 문헌연구의 결과를 토대로 지역사회 정체성, 상대적 박탈감, 그리고 팀정체성의 관계에 대한 구조모형을 제시하였으며 이를 검증하였다. 전라도와 제주도의 경기장을 방문한 관람객으로부터 600부의 설문지를 회수하였으며 그 중 524부를 연구에 활용하였다. 본 연구는 요인구조를 규명하기 위하여 Mplus 5.2을 이용한 확인적요인분석을 실시하였으며, 구조방정식을 사용하여 제시된 모델을 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 지역사회정체성과 상대적 박탈감은 팀정체성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 지역사회정체성과 상대적 박탈감의 사이에는 정적인 상관관계가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 학문적 시사점과 실무적 시사점 그리고 향후연구의 방향을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of relative deprivation and regional identity on sport team identification. In the study a structural model concerning relations among regional identification, relative deprivation, and team identification was proposed on the basis of the literature review. A total of 600 data was collected from Je-Ju Province, and Kwang-Ju City and 524 data was analyzed for the study. A structural equation modeling technique was applied to test the proposed model. The results showed that regional identification and relative deprivation have positive effects on team identification and there is a positive correlation between regional identification and relative deprivation. Theoretical and practical implications and future research directions were provided.

팀동일시 수준에 따른 여성 스포츠팬의 동기요인이 재관람의도 및 구전의도에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 여성 스포츠팬을 스포츠 마케팅의 세그먼트로 인정하고 마케팅을 펼치기 위한 초기과제로, 여성 스포츠팬의 스포츠 관람동기요인을 규명하고 동기요인 중 동일시수준에 따라 재관람의도와 구전의도에 영향을 주는 요인을 밝히는 것에 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 여성 스포츠팬을 대상으로 포커스그룹인터뷰를 실시한 후, 경기장을 찾은 여성관람객을 대상으로 표집이 이루어졌으며, 총 248명의 설문지를 분석에 사용하였다. 자료처리는 기술통계분석, 상관분석, 신뢰도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 회귀분석등을 이용하였으며 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성 스포츠팬의 관람동기요인은 9개의 요인으로 나타났으며, 그 중 기술, 성취감, 드라마, 그리고 일상탈출요인이 여성 스포츠팬의 재관람의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 여성 스포츠팬의 관람동기 요인 중 구전의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 요인은 선수기술, 성취감, 그리고 사회성요인이다. 셋째, 여성스포츠 팬의 관람동기요인 중 재관람의도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 동일시수준에 따라 차이가 있었다. 넷째, 여성 스포츠 팬의 관람동기요인 중 구전의도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 동일시수준에 따라 차이가 있었다. The current study sought to acknowledge the female sport fan as a sport marketing segment. In order to do so, female sport consumption motivation was identified and among motivation factors, factors effecting re-attend intention and word of mouth intention according to level of team identification was identified. In order to accomplish the purpose a focus group interview was conducted concerning female sport fans, and a survey took place in Korean Pro-sport event collecting 300 data. Among 300 data 248 data were used for the analysis. Using Lisrel 8.7 and SPSS 15.0 correlation analysis, descriptive analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis was conducted. The results of study are as follows, First, 9 female sport consumption motivation was identified and among these factors, skill, achievement, drama, and escape had a positive effect on re-attend intension. Second, among 9 female sport consumption motivations skill, achievement, and social factor had a positive effect on word of mouth intention. Third, among the motivation factors, factors effecting re-attend intention had difference on the level of team identification. Forth, among the motivation factors, factors effecting word of mouth intention had difference on the level of team identification.

상대적 박탈감이 지역사회 및 스포츠팀 정체성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 지역사회 정체성과 팀정체성의 선행요인을 규명하는 것이다. 구체적으로, 지역사회 정체성과 팀정체성 그리고 상대적 박탈감의 관계를 중심으로 상대적 박탈감을 지역사회 정체성과 팀정체성의 선행요인으로 규명하는 것에 있다. 지역사회 정체성과 상대적 박탈감의 관계를 통해 새로운 시각으로 프로스포츠의 기본적인 단위인 지역연고를 이해하고, 상대적 박탈감과 팀정체성의 관계를 규명함으로써 팀정체성의 본질에 대한 새로운 시각을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구는 강원도에 위치한 H 대학교에서 교양체육을 수강하고 있는 대학생 70명과 전라도에 위치한 S대학과 H대학의 학생 80명을 대상으로 연구를 실시했다. 본 연구의 가설을 규명하기 위해 연구대상으로 하여금 상대적 박탈감을 인위적으로 유발하는 점화(priming)기법을 사용하여 상대적 박탈감에 의해 팀정체성이 어떻게 영향을 받는 가를 알아보기 위해 2 Way-repeated ANOVA를 이용한 실험연구를 실시했다. 연구결과에 의하면, 상대적 박탈감과 팀정체성간에는 인과관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 상대적 박탈감과 지역사회 정체성간에도 인과관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 상대적 박탈감이 유발된 집단에서 지역정체성이 향상된 것을 볼 수 있는데, 이는 상대적 박탈감과 지역사회 정체성의 인과관계를 증명한 기존의 연구결과와 일맥상통하는 결과라 할 수 있다(박군석, 2003; 한민, 2003; Elermers & Bos, 1998; Kawakami & Dion, 1993). 개인이 상대적 박탈감을 경험할 경우 개인은 내집단애호성향(in-group favoritism)을 보이게 되는데. 본 연구에서는 지역사회정체성의 증가로 나타났다고 보여진다. 또한 상대적 박탈감이 유발된 집단에서 팀정체성이 강화되는 결과도 나타났는데 이는 지역을 대표하는 스포츠팀을 내집단으로 인지하고 내집단애호성향이 발현된 것이라 볼 수 있다. 향후, 프로스포츠구단은 상대적 박탈감과 지역정체성을 고려하여 팀 정체성 강화전략을 수립할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study is to examine relative deprivation as the antecedents of team identification and regional identification. An experimental study was performed to examine the causal effects. A total of 150 college students from Jeon-ra and Kang-won provinces in Korea were recruited to participate in the experiments. Experimental instruments including news clips and short movie were designed to provoke relative deprivation. Using the priming technique the participants’ sense of relative deprivation was provoked and participants’ changes in team identification and regional identification were monitored. The results indicated that relative deprivation had casual effects on regional identification and team identification. The group with the provoked relative deprivation showed enhanced regional identity. This concurs with the studies that showed a causal relationship between relative deprivation and social identification (Kawakami & Dion, 1993; Elermers & Bos, 1998; Park, 2003; Han, 2003). The results suggest that when people experience the relative deprivation people tend to show an in-group favoritism. In this case the elevation of the regional identification is an evidence of such action. Also the group with the provoked relative deprivation showed enhanced team identification. This clearly shows that the sport team representing the cities were viewed as an in-group and people showed in-group favoritism toward the sport team. Theoretical and managerial implications are provided.

미국 대학의 스포츠 안전관리에 대한 사례연구

본 연구의 주요 목적이다. 연구방법: 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 1년 간의 참여관찰 및 문헌고찰, 이용자 및 관리자 심층면담 등의 방법을 이용하였다. 결론: 본 대학의 경우 최근 학내 구성원이 크게 증가하여 구성원 1인당 스포츠 시설의 면적이 현저히 줄어들었고, 구성원들의 스포츠 활동에 참가하는 비율이 예전에 비해 월등히 높아지면서 스포츠 안전사고의 발생 횟수도 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 대학의 사고 예방 및 안전 관리 노력도 더욱 강화되고 있는 상황인데, 현재 운영되고 있는 안전 관리 활동 및 안전 관리 매뉴얼 등을 분석한 결과 스포츠 활동에 있어서의 안전을 확보하기 위한 노력을 인력, 시설 및 장비, 안전관리 정책 및 절차, 응급상황에 대한 대응(people, facilities & equipments, polices & procedures and emergency planning) 등 4개 분야로 요약할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 향후 안전관리의 효과성 및 효율성을 높이기 위해 보다 정확한 안전사고의 파악 및 기록 보관, 안전 관련 규정에 대한 적극적인 교육, 안전을 위한 적절한 인용 시스템 구축, 테러 방지 대책 마련 등을 제안하였다. Pupose: The purpose of the study is to analyze the current situation of safety management of American collegiate recreation sport. Methods: The authors utilized mixed method (e.g., literature review, one year of participant observation, and in-depth interview) to understand the current situation of university recreation safety management. Recently, due to the growth of college student population, we could observe the decrease of facility size per person, also, there was an increase in accidents related to recreation sports participation. Conclusion: The result of our research suggests that the American universities use four categories (e.g., people, facilities & equipment, policies & procedures, and emergency planning) to secure student safety in participating sports. For better and effective safety management authors suggested a thorough investigation of the accidents and storing of the information collected from accidents for the future purposes, enhanced safety education, creating references for different types of accidents, and terror prevention planning.

The Effect of Leisure Participation on the Relationship between the Leisure Satisfaction and Perceived Stress : Perspective of US College Students

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of leisure satisfaction on perceived stress amongst college students. In addition, the moderating effect of the leisure participation level on the relationship between the two variables was examined. A total of 203 usable surveys were collected from college students at mid-size public southeast university in the United States. The results of this study indicated that leisure satisfaction has a negative impact on perceived stress. For the moderating effect of leisure participation level, leisure satisfaction did not have significant negative impact on perceived stress with high-level leisure participation group, whereas it had significant negative impact on perceived stress with low-level leisure participation. The findings of the study would provide meaningful implications for practitioners at college leisure industry as to how to moderate the level of leisure participation.

The change of serum cholesterol level in fasting rabbits induced by the oral administration of Deer Horn (cervus unicolor) decoction were colorimetrically determined. Increase in seruem cholesterol level resulting from fasting was lowerd by the decoction, although the action was relatively slow. The deer horn decoction was supprsed to prevent the reduced lover function of the rabbits under the fasting state.
