In this study, passenger thermal comfort was predicted by Fanger's model that is based on computed air velocities and temperatures in a passenger compartment. To avoid considerable time to generate mesh system for a complicated cabin geometry, semi-automatic mesh generator was used. Furthermore, transient simulation of cabin flow and heat transfer was performed. to predict a cool-down performance at summer condition.<br/> Although the current numerical model needs to be improved by taking more realistic thermal boundary conditions, the results show that computational fluid dynamics can be applied with success to predict thermal comfort as well as cool-down performance.
