This study was carried out to get efficient of nutrient removal and wastage sludge production minimized effects on the treatment of foodstuff manufacturing wastewater using aerobic submerged biological film contact process. The concentration of average BOD at raw wastewater was 1721.5 ㎎/L and COD was 551.9 ㎎/L. The average BOD of effluent was maintained 11.4 ㎎/L and average COD was 14.0 ㎎/L. The concentration of average SS at influent wastewater was 113.7 ㎎/L. The average SS of effluent was maintained 27.6 ㎎/L. The result of this experiment was wastage sludge did generated 18.1g/dayㆍ㎥ and the removal efficiency of nutrients were kept equilibrium. While the treatment of foodstuff manufacturing wastewater showed the yield coefficient of microorganisms (Y) as 0.035 gVSS/gBOD.

Diet is an important focus in solidifying the fundamentals of health; thus, it is necessary to offer and manage accurate and correct information. This study examined the effects of body part satisfaction and attitude on diet, in female college students, who are known to be very interested in their appearances and tend to have a strong propensity to consume. The data were gathered using questionnaires answered by 101 female college students living in Daegu City, after classifying the women into normal weight and overweight groups, respectively. According to the analyzed results, there were no significant differences in satisfaction by body part between the normal weight and overweight groups, however, both groups were found to be dissatisfied with the following body parts, in the order of: thighs > legs > and hips. The motivation factors for weight control were found to be in order: not having a boyfriend > lacking of confidence > seeing slender entertainment stars, and there were no significant differences between the two groups. Finally, the main reasons for weight control were in order: appearance > health > getting a job. It is anticipated that these results will contribute to preparing systematic solutions to promote healthy diets and body satisfaction in society, and will help bring a desirable change in perceptions about diet.
메탄올 용액 중의 비타민 C 자동산화반응에 있어서 Nitro Blue Tetrazolium에 의한 O₂⁻생성

The generation of superoxide anion(O₂?) in the oxidation reaction of L-ascorbic acid(AsA) in the presence heavy metal ions by using nitro blue tetrazolium(NBT) in methanol solution were examined. The oxidation reaction was carried out by introducing oxygen gas to the AsA solution at a flow rate of 200 ㎖/min at room temperature. NBT has an absorption maximum at about 560 urn in methanol solution. The absorbance at 560 nm increased during the oxidation of AsA, suggested the formation of O₂? in methanol solution. Thus, the formation of O₂? was confirmed the autoxidation of AsA not only in aqueous solution but also in methanol solution in the presence heavy metal ions.
CBFC공정을 이용한 하수의 유기물 제거 및 폐기 슬러지의 최소화

This recearch was carried out to get efficient of nutrients removal and minimization of wastage sludge at wastewater treatment. As a results of biofilm attachment experiment aggraration of water guality to excessive biofilm showed after every 15 days of operating terms. The results of this study was wastage sludge did not almost generated and the removal efficiency of nutrients kept guilibrium. The concentration of avarage BOD of raw wastewater was 285㎎/ℓ and COD was 198㎎/ℓ. The average BOD of effluent was maintained 15㎎/ℓ and the averge COD was 18㎎/ℓ. In order to reduced sludge production rate and aggravation of water quality, endogenous respiration phase was accepted at CBFC reactor. As a results of this operating condition, sludge prduction was minimized and removal efficiency of wastewater was maintained stability.
RBC와 CBC 공법에 의한 양돈폐수 처리에 관한 연구

This study was carried out to get efficient of organic material removal and wastage sludge production minimized effects on the treatment of swine wastewater using aerobic RBC and curtain biological contact process. As a results of biofilm attachment experiment aggravation of water quality due to excessive biofilm showed after every 15 days of operating times. The concentration of BOD at raw wastewater was 4600∼5300㎎/L and COD was 2650∼3100 ㎎/L. The average BOD of effluent was maintained 23 ㎎/L and average COD was 37 ㎎/L. The result of this experiment was wastage sludge did not almost generated and the removal efficiency of nutrients were kept equilibrium.
