        Since construction materials have been towards larger and heavier, the rate of accident associated with installation works of heavy construction materials is increasing. Installation works of heavy construction materials lead to frequent accidents, increasing the WMSDs(Work-Related Musculo-Skeletal Disorders) in construction site. In case of installation work of heavy glass ceiling, the rate of accidents such as falling and collision is increasing as well. This paper describes a ergonomic design of working platform(deck) in a glass ceiling installation robot. As well as, a design of working process is considered to accomplish an efficient installation work. As a result of the design, an installation work of heavy glass ceiling by the robot will be expected safety assurance and retrenchment of the construction cost and period.

        전자책 아카이빙을 위한 협력모형 개발에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to develop a collaborative model for the archiving and preservation of an electronic book(e-book). In this study the way of the archiving and preservation for the e-book to deal with the technology evolution was suggested. Accordingly, the survey was made for obtaining the present status of the production and distribution of the domestic Online e-book. It is the same as the operation status of the archiving and preservation for the Online e-book worldwide. A collaborative model for accessible to preserved data, regardless of time period, was proposed for archiving the e-book, based on the OAIS reference model. There are three different models, suggested for domestic; the safe place model by law, the individual preservation/Peer-to-Peer model, and the preservation center model for e-book archiving. Among them, the safe place model by law was proposed for the optimum model of archiving an e-book at present. 이 연구는 국내 외 전자책의 수집 및 보존기술에 대한 분석을 기반으로 미래 전자책의 기술 진화에 대응한 도서관의 전자책 수집 및 보존 방안을 제시하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해 국내 전자책 제작 및 유통 현황과 국내 외 전자책 수집 및 아카이빙 운영 실태를 조사하였다. 보존기간과 관계없이 보존된 자원에 대한 접근성 유지를 위하여 메타데이터 요소와 OAIS 참조모형을 기반으로 전자책 아카이빙 협력 모형을 제안하였다. 한국형 전자책 아카이빙 협력 모형은 법령에 의한 집중형 모형, 개별 보존 및 분산형 모형, 전자책 아카이빙 보존관리센터 모형으로 요약할 수 있으며, 개별 모형의 장단점을 비교, 분석하여 최적의 모형을 제안하였다.

        Recently, the trend in architectural forms has been toward larger and taller building. The building materials, therefore, are getting larger and heavier as well. Typical construction machineries are, however, not adequate for handling these materials and most of the construction works have been still managed by a human operator. Construction processes are, therefore, fraught with a number of problems, including frequent accidents, high construction cost and heterogeneous construction quality. In a bid to address this issue, The concept design of transport robot for use in construction sites is described. To design of this robot, CTQ(Critical To Quality) is deduced based on analysis of technical trends and VOC(Voice Of Customer). Such robot is expected to be in high demand in the near future in countries where aging of construction workers is becoming a serious problem.

        This paper describes an unmanned transport robot system called Multipurpose Field Robot (MFR) being developed to overcome worker shortage problem and to prevent accidents in construction sites (i.e., building construction, road construction, etc.). The unmanned transport robot system gets divided drive part make up of caterpillar that move as far as want materials, sensor part which recognize position of truck and working environment and control part which trajectory generation and trajectory following and obstacle avoidance algorithm are applied. Such robot is expected to be in high demand in the near future in countries where aging of construction workers is becoming a serious problem.
