        Design performances of various configurations of the PEMFC/GT hybrid systems have been evaluated. Based on PEMFC adopting steam reforming, various system configurations (one ambient pressure configuration and three different pressurized configurations) were designed and their performances were compared. Their Performances are also compared with the reference PEMFC system. Influences of turbine inlet temperature, pressure ratio on the hybrid systems performance were investigated and design ranges exhibits better efficiency than the PEMFC system were presented. One of the pressurized system may have much higher efficiency than the PEMFC system, while other systems hardly provide efficiency upgrade.

        Until December 2019, it was not easy for everyone to know exactly what the “Marine Strategy of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force” was. Therefore, in December 20195 the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force officially announced the ‘Strategic Guidelines’ to improve this. In this paper, we will look at the Maritime Strategy of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force, focusing on this officially announced ‘Strategic Guidelines’. The maritime strategic goal of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force is to “shaping” a strategic environment favorable to Japan in the Indo-Pacific region and to suppress disputes by- balancing power. To this end, the Maritime Self-Defense Force places importance on die following three things. The first is to work on environmental “shaping” as a national tool of defense diplomacy to eliminate threats and establish a strategic environment favorable to Japan. The second is to strengthen the ability to curb gray areas and prevent them before things develop into conflict. Finally, the third is to have the ability to win the armed war as part of the integrated power in case of emergency.

        한 · 일 해상전력 비교분석과 시사점 - 문헌조사를 통한 비교와 전문가조사를 통한 분석구조 개선을 중심으로 -

        본 연구는 2022년 말 완성을 목표로 준비 중인 ‘한국형 해군력지수(KNPI)’를 만들기 위한 예비연구로 착수하였다. 필자는 시행착오를 통해, KNPI를 만들어 가겠다는 생각으로, 2020년 ‘韓·日해상전력 비교분석과 시사점’이라는 예비연구를 계획 및 시행(trial)하였다. 본고는 이 예비연구에 관한 내용이다. 이 예비연구에서는 문헌조사를 통해 ‘韓·日해상전력 비교분석과 시사점’을 도출함은 물론, 기존의 ‘해상전력 전투효과지수’가 가지고 있는 한계성을 고찰하였고, 보다 객관적이고 접근이 용이한 ‘전투효과지수 분석구조 개선(안)’을 제시하였다. 2021년에는 본 연구에서 제시한 ‘전투효과지수 분석구조 개선(안)’을 재검증한 후, 이를 바탕으로 ‘韓·中·日해상전력 전투효과지수 연구’를 시행할 예정이다. 2022년에는 2020~2021년간의 시행착오를 바탕으로 KNPI를 개발하고, ‘韓·中·日해군력 연구(KNPI적용)’를 수행하고자 한다. 이후, 매년 관련 연구를 수정보완하며, 발전시켜 나가고, 매년 말에는 연구결과를 발표할 계획이다. 2023년 이후, 이러한 연구 결과물은 해군 전력건설 전문가들에게 유용한 의사결정 지원 자료가 될 것이다. This study was launched as a preliminary study to create the “Korea Naval Force Index (KNPI)” which is being prepared for completion by the end of 2022. I planned and implemented a preliminary study called ‘Korea-Japan Naval Power Comparative Analysis and Implications’ in 2020 with the intention of creating KNPI through trial and error. The main article is about this preliminary study. In this preliminary study, the comparative analysis and implications of Korea-Japan naval power are derived through a literature survey. Also, the limitations of the existing “Naval Power Combat Effectiveness Index” were considered and a “Improvement of the Combat Effectiveness Index Analysis Structure” was proposed, which is more objective and easy to approach. In 2021, I will re-verify the “Improvement of the Analysis Structure of Combat Effectiveness Index” proposed in this study and then conduct a “Study on the Korea-China-Japan Marine Power Combat Effect Index.” Afterwards, the research will be revised and supplemented every year, and the results will be published at the end of each year. After 2023, these findings could be useful decision support material for naval power construction professionals.

        Performance of PEM fuel cell power generation systems and hybrid systems combining a PEMFC with a gas turbine have been evaluated. PEM fuel cell systems with two different reforming methods(steam reforming and autothermal reforming) were comparatively analyzed. Configurations of both PEM fuel cell systems have been revised to accommodate a gas turbine, resulting in PEMFC/GT hybrid systems.       • 역사학의 방법에서 역사문화콘텐츠적 접근으로의 전환

        이 글은 역사문화콘텐츠 영역이 지닌 동시대적 의미를 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 역사문화콘텐츠를 기존 역사학의 영역 속에서 인식하는 것을 넘어, 다양한 과거를 다루는 방법으로서 이해하기 위한 논의를 진행하였다. 구체적으로 기존 역사학의 방법론이 객관성을 담보하는 것에 치중되어 있음을 지적하고, 이때 발생하는 ‘공감’에 대한 문제에 주목했다. 이후 역사문화콘텐츠의 의미를 내용·형식적인 차원, 즉 ‘팩션’과 ‘히스토리텔링’을 통해 살펴보았다. 논의 결과, 역사문화콘텐츠는 팩션으로서 다양한 과거를 다룰 수 있다. 이는 ‘실재적 사실’과 ‘역사적 사실’ 사이에 존재하는 ‘틈새’의 과거를 다루는 것을 가능하게 한다. 또한, 히스토리텔링을 통해 ‘역사가와 과거의 일방적인 대화’가 아닌 ‘역사가와 대중’, ‘대중과 대중’, ‘과거와 대중’ 등의 관계 속에서 다양한 소통이 이루어진다. 정리하자면 역사문화콘텐츠는 기존 역사학의 연장선상에서 ‘활용’과 ‘활성화 방안’이라는 측면 이외에도, 과거를 기억할 수 있는 다양한 방식을 제공한다. 따라서 역사문화콘텐츠를 과학적 역사학의 관점에서 바라보는 것을 넘어, 과거를 새롭게 다룰 수 있는 방법으로 이해할 필요가 있다. 이를 통해 과거는 보다 다양한 방식으로 (재)가공될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to explore the contemporary meaning of the historical-cultural contents area. To this end, discussions were conducted to understand historical-cultural contents as a way to deal with various pasts beyond recognizing them in the realm of existing historical studies. Specifically, it pointed out that the existing methodology of history is focused on ensuring objectivity, and paid attention to the problem of “sympathy” that occurs at this time. Since then, the meaning of historical-cultural contents has been examined through content and formal dimensions, that is, 'faction' and 'historytelling'. As a result of the discussion, historical-cultural contents can deal with various pasts as a faction. This makes it possible to deal with the past of the 'gap' that exists between 'real facts' and 'historical facts'. In addition, through historytelling, various communications are made in relationships such as “historian and the public,” “public and the public,” and “past and the public,” rather than “one-sided conversations with historians.” In summary, historical-cultural contents provide various ways to remember the past in addition to the aspects of “utilization” and “activation measures” as an extension of existing historical studies. Therefore, it is necessary to understand historical-cultural contents as a way to deal with the past anew beyond looking at them from the perspective of scientific and historical history. Through this, the past can be (re)processed in more various ways.

      • 韓日 해상전력 비교분석과 시사점

        The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the naval power of Korea and Japan and to draw implications. What happens if Korea and Japan collide? After the low-flying threat flight of the Japanese patrol plane in December 2018, military conflict between the two countries has escalated, raising interest in this. Some argue that Korea"s military strength is strong based on the fact that the GFP(Global Fire Power), which analyzes the level of military power in countries around the world, ranked Korea 7th out of 136 countries in terms of potential war performance in 2018, and Japan 8th. Does this claim make sense? Considering the characteristics of Japan, which is an island nation, the comparison of naval capabilities between Korea and Japan should be made first. In this presentation summary, we first look at the concept and evaluation elements of force, and briefly explain the main part of the comparative analysis of marine power in Korea, focusing on the evaluation elements.

        소형 가압형 연료전지/가스터빈 하이브리드 시스템의 성능 비교해석

        Design performances of the fuel cell / gas turbine hybrid power generation systems based on two different fuel cells (PEMFC, SOFC) have been comparatively analyzed. In each system, the fuel cell operates at an elevated pressure corresponding to the compressed air pressure of the gas turbine. Both internally and externally reformed systems were analyzed for the SOFC hybrid system. Component design parameters of 10㎾ class small systems are assumed. For all hybrid systems, increasing the turbine inlet temperature increases the power portion of the gas turbine. With increasing the turbine inlet temperature, system efficiency decreases in the PEMFC system and the internally reformed SOFC system while that of the externally reformed SOFC system increases slightly. The internally reformed SOFC hybrid system is predicted to exhibit the best system efficiency.

        Design performances of the fuel cell / gas turbine hybrid power generation systems based on two different fuel cells (PEMFC, SOFC) have been comparatively analyzed. In each system, the fuel cell operates at an elevated pressure corresponding to the compressed air pressure of the gas turbine. Typical design parameter of PEMFC and SOFC of 10kW class are assumed. By varying the turbine inlet temperature of the gas turbine, efficiency upgrade due to the hybridization is estimated for the two systems. The SOFC is predicted to exhibit not only a better fuel cell efficiency but also a greater efficiency upgrade through the hybridization. For both systems, increasing the turbine inlet temperature increases the power portion of the gas turbine, but decreases the system efficiency.
