The main purpose of this research was to enhance the durability in both the design and construction of dams. Especially, in case of rockfill dams, the durability of face slab concrete in a concrete-faced rockfill dam(CFRD) is achieved by optimizing the fly ash replacement for cement and application of blended fiber. The effect on durability and shrinkage property corresponding to the increasing replacement of fly ash and application of blended fiber was evaluated, and the optimum value of fly ash replacement and blended fiber application was recommended. The results show that 15% of fly ash replacement and 0.9kg/m<sup>3</sup> of blended fiber application was found to be an optimum level and demonstrated excellent performance in durability and shrinkage property.

With the growing demands for electric power and more power plants being built in recent years, the construction of underground structures such as tunnel is also on the increase, and the life extension of it is very important. The development of structural maintenance system in view of structural integrity evaluation is needed and widely discussed. Therefore, the structural integrity evaluation system(SIES) for tunnel of Pumped Storage Power Plant was developed in this study. SIES consists of three part, investigation system using 3D optic scanner, DB system and structural integrity evaluation system. SIES makes progress in maintenance technology for tunnel and have various kinds of advantages comparing with conventional method by visual inspection.

The development of DB system for structural life management of Box Culvert for power transmission is needed and widely discussed. Therefore, the DB system for structural life management for box culvert is developed. This system consists of four part, design data, maintenance data, investigation data using 3D optic scanner, and structural integrity evaluation data. This system makes progress in maintenance technology for box culvert and have various kind of advantages comparing with conventional method by visual inspection.
철근콘크리트 구조물에 대한 비국소 이방성 손상모델의 적용

이 논문에서는 인장과 압축하중에 놓은 무근 콘크리트와 철근콘크리트 구조물의 거동을 모사하기 위해 비국소화 이방성 손상모델을 제안하였다. 손상변수로써 대칭형의 이차 텐서을 사용한 연속체 손상모델에 기초한다. 콘크리트와 같은 준-취성 재료에 있어 손상양상은 인장부와 압축부에서 다른 양상을 나타낸다. 이러한 두 개의 손상영역은 전체 변형률 텐서의 주변형률 성분을 손상텐서 속도에 비례하는 손상진전 법칙을 이용하여 모델링하였다. 제안된 모델의 유효성을 검토하기 위해 nooru-mohamed에 의해 실시된 이중 노치가 있는 시험체와 철근콘크리트 휨 시험체를 대상으로 해석을 수행하였다. 해석 결과, 비국소화 이방성 모델은 혼합모드 파괴에 대한 균열진전을 적절히 모사할 수 있었으며 철근콘크리트 휨 시험체의 구조적 파괴에 있어서도 높은 수준의 콘크리트 손상 및 철근의 항복까지를 해석할 수 있었다. This paper proposed a nonlocal anisotropic damage model to simulate the behavior of plain and reinforced concrete structures that are predominantly tensile and compressive load. This model based on continuum damage mechanics, used a symmetric second-order tensor as the damage variable. For quasi-brittle materials, such as concrete, the damage patterns were different in tension and in compression. These two damage states were modeled by damage evolution laws ensuring a damage tensor rate proportional to the total strain tensor in terms of principal components. To investigate the effectiveness of proposed model, the double edge notched specimen experimented by nooru-mohamed and reinforced concrete bending beam were analyzed using the implementation of the proposed model. As the results for the simulation, the nonlocal anisotropic damage model with an adequate control of rupture correctly represented the crack propagation for mixed mode fracture. In the structural failure of reinforced concrete bending beam, the proposed model can be showed up to a very high damage level and yielding of the reinforcements.

콘크리트 열화 진단의 LIBS 적용을 위한 실험적 연구

표준 시료의 분광 분석으로부터 획득한 각 원소별 파장 특성 값과 검사대상 미지 시료로부터의 파장 분석 결과를 비교함으로써 미지 시료에 함유된 원소의 정성 및 정량 분석을 가능하게 하는 것이 LIBS이다. 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 내구성에 영향을 미치는 주요 열화 요인을 규명하는 것에 대하여 LIBS의 적용 가능성을 실험적으로 분석하였다. 즉, LIBS를 통해 염화물, 황산염, 탄산화 모르타르 시험체에 대한 유해 열화인자 정량 검출 실험을 실시함으로써 콘크리트 열화 진단의 LIBS 적용 가능성을 연구하였다. 염화물과 황산염 시험체 각각에 대하여 LIBS 실험을 실시한 결과 농도가 증가할수록 염소 및 황 이온의 LIBS 스펙트럼 파장 강도가 선형적으로 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 탄산화 시험체의 경우 탄산화 노출 기간에 따른 탄소 이온 LIBS 스펙트럼 파장 강도는 다소 비선형적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 실험결과로부터 콘크리트 열화 진단에 LIBS의 적용가능성을 부분적으로 확인할 수 있었으며, 콘크리트 탄산화의 경우 시멘트 자체에 탄소 성분이 함유되어 염화물 및 황산염 시험체의 정량 검출과는 다소 상이한 결과를 보인 것으로 추정된다. 따라서 콘크리트 탄산화에 대하여 LIBS를 적용하기 위해서는 보다 다양한 매개변수 연구가 수행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. It is laser induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) that enables qualitative and quantitative analysis of the elements contained in unknown specimen by comparing the wavelength characteristics of each element obtained from the spectral analysis of the standard specimen with the wavelength analysis results from unknown specimens. In this study, the applicability of LIBS to the analysis of major deterioration factors affecting concrete durability was experimentally analyzed. That is, the possibility of applying LIBS to the diagnosis of concrete deterioration by studying the quantitative detection of harmful deteriorating factors on chloride, sulfate and carbonated mortar specimens using LIBS was studied. As a result of LIBS test for each chloride and sulfate specimen, the LIBS spectral wavelength intensity of chlorine and sulfur ions increased linearly with increasing concentration. Carbon ion LIBS spectral wave intensities of carbonated specimens increased nonlinearly over the duration of carbonation exposure. From the above results, it can be partially confirmed that LIBS can be applied to the diagnosis of concrete deterioration. In case of concrete carbonation, it is presumed that carbon content is contained in the cement itself and is different from the detection of chloride and sulfate specimen. Therefore, it is considered that more various parameter studies should be performed to apply LIBS to concrete carbonation.

에너지 저장 시스템(ESS)은 발전소에서 생산된 전력을 저장했다가 전력이 필요한 시기에 공급하는 시스템이다. ESS 기술은 전 세계적으로 72가지 이상의 기술개발 사례가 있으며, 열적, 기계적, 전기화학적, 화학적 에너지를 이용한 ESS로 분류된다. 대표적인 기술은 양수발전, 콘크리트 열에너지 저장, 리튬 이온 전지, 수소저장 기술이다. 각각의 에너지 저장 기술은 장단점을 가지기 때문에 서로 상호 보완할 수 있도록 ESS mix를 구성하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 신재생에너지 발전의 증대로 발생하는 변동성에 대응하고, 잉여 전력을 저장할 수 있으며, 장기적으로 내륙 양수발전의 에너지 저장효율과 저장 용량을 가진 ESS 유망기술에 대해 분석하고, 그 결과를 도출하였다.
