Synthesis and Property Analysis of Catalysts based on Mixed metal oxide for Water gas shift reaction

Research on hydrogen energy has recently received much more attention. H2 gas is a source for fuel cell, that is produced by reforming reaction of hydrocarbon or alcohol. When this reaction is processing, carbon monoxide is formed for by-product. Carbon monoxide hinders performance. WGS(water gas shift) reaction is needed because of reducing CO and obtaining additional H2. WGS reaction is represented as below. [ CO + H<sub>2</sub>O(g) -> CO<sub>2</sub>(g) + H<sub>2</sub>(g) ]. Co catalysts show excellent WGS catalytic activity and Cu catalysts suppress methanation reaction. CeO<sub>2</sub> is high oxygen storage capacity. Thus, We synthesized composites of three components. These composites represented good activity. Ordered mesoporous metal oxide catalysts were synthesized through nanocasting method by using a hard template of KIT-6. Material properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction, N<sub>2</sub> adsorption, Electron microscopy.
1P-475 Synthesis and Characterization of Surface Modified Mesoporous Carbon for Li-S Battery

Recently, new series of ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) materials have been synthesized via nano-replication technique using various mesoporous silica. Compared with the typical porous carbon materials, the OMCs are appropriate as supports for nano-structure materials due to their good electrical conductivity, high surface area. investigate the effect of porous carbon materials, we controlled property changes of OMCs. First, we synthesized metal loaded OMCs(Pt, Au-OMCs). We expected metal nano-particle can provide efficient confinement to trap the dissolvable polysulfide, diminishing the negative shuttle effect during cycling. Second, we synthesized heteroatoms (boron and nitrogen) co-doped OMCs (B,N-OMCs). Heteroatom doping is necessary to enhance specific capacitance and conductivity. These co-doped materials were expected higher specific electro-catalysis. The materials were characterized by N2 sorption, electron microscopy (EM).

H2 gas, as sources for fuel cell, mainly is produced by reforming reaction of hydrocarbon or alcohol. When this reaction is processing, CO is formed for by-product. CO poisons catalyst layer of a fuel cell membrane and hinders performance. WGS(Water Gas Shift) reaction is needed because of reducing CO and obtaining additional H2. WGS reaction is represented as below. [ CO + H2O(g) -> CO2(g) + H2(g) ] Co catalysts show excellent WGS catalytic activity, but they also have been known for effective catalyst for the methanation reaction. [ CO+3H2-> CH4 + H2O ] Meanwhile, Cu catalysts show excellent WGS catalytic activity and suppress methanation. CeO2 is high oxygen storage capacity and good redox performances. Thus, We synthesized composites of three components. Ordered mesoporous metal oxide catalysts were synthesized through nanocasting method by using KIT-6. Material properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption and electron microscopy.
MPEG-21 멀티미디어 프레임워크에 기반한 적응형 비디오 전송 단말

본 논문에서는 네트워크 상태, 사용자 단말 성능, 지원 가능한 비디오 포맷등 사용자 정보들을 서버와 공유하여 원활한 비디오스트리밍이 가능한 클라이언트를 기술한다. 이러한 사용자 정보는 MPEG-21 멀티미디어 프레임워크를 이용하여 서버와 통신하며, 기존의 VoD의 단방향 스트리밍이 아닌 양방향의 스트리밍 구조로 설계하였다. 양방향 스트리밍은 사용자 환경뿐만 아니라 이전에 재생된 비디오 시퀀스 및 사용자 이동성에 따른 적응형 재생이 가능하도록 스트리밍과 다른 통신채널을 이용하여 단말의 정보를 서버에게 보낼 수 있다. 실제 응용과 검증을 위해 본 논문에서는 PC를 이용한 단말 시스템과 PDA를 이용하여 동작시험 결과를 얻었다.

This paper describes a digital convergence platform(DCP) which is implemented based on the MPEG-21 multimedia framework. DCP is a newly proposed solution in this research for the convergence service of future home multimedia environment. DCP is a common platform designed to have the feature of reconfigurability, by means of S/W, which supports to run diverse digital multimedia services. A distributed peer to peer service and transaction model is also a new feature realized in DCP using the MPEG-21 multimedia framework. A prototype DCP is implemented to verify its functions of multimedia service and transactions. The developed DCPs are networked with IF clustering storage systems for the distributed service of multimedia. Successful streaming services of the MPEG-2/4 video and audio are verified with the implemented test-bed system of DCP.
