This paper proposes a heuristic load balancing algorithm for multiprocessor systems. The algorithm minimizes the number of idle links to distribute load traffic and reduces its communication cost. Each processor iteratively tries to transfer unit load to/from every neighbor processors. However, real load transfer is collectively done after complete load traffic calculation to minimize useless traffic. The proposed algorithm can be employed in various interconnection topologies with slight modifications. In this paper, it is applied to both hypercube and mesh environments. For performance evaluation, simulation studies are performed. The performance of proposed algorithm is compared to those of two well-known algorithms. The results show that the proposed algorithm always balances the loads perfectly. Furthermore, it reduces the communication costs by $70{\%}{\~}90{\%}$ in the hypercube ; and it reduces the cost by $\75{\%}$ in the mesh, compared to existing algorithms.

Christian arts have been understood as the church art, or the art of Christian artist, or art that derives from the Biblical theme. This paper tries to focus the need of change of such commonly accepted views. First, there have been some controversial problems in the Biblical views on the objects of historical church arts. Second, it is said that Christian arts is to be done by Christian artists. However, when a Christian artist works with the Christian world view, the meaning and feature of Christian arts are going to be represented. Third, the art derived from th Biblical themes has been a way to witness the Word visually, but it is important to perceive and express all creatures on the Biblical perspectives rather than just to deal with the facts revealed in the Bible. Finally, contemporay Christian arts should be the expression of Christian world view by means of modern artistic styles. But modern art in general shows the anti-Christian world view. Therefore, the contemporary Christian arts are responsible to create new art styles that implant Christianity in their works.

This paper attempts to better understand the analogies and images of the Creator and His Creation revealed in diverse artistic discourses. Edith Schaeffer portrayed God as the greatest artist and craftsman. C. S. Lewis once described God as a Great Sculptor, people as His sculptures, and the world as His studio. We can discover that the Creator God Himself works as a land artist in a gigantic scale who takes care of the earth, and we are to acknowledge the Creator as a kinetic artist, as God Himself has planned and designed the earth, the solar system, and the whole universe as a kinetic sculpture. Ravi Zacharias also described God as a Great Master Craftsman, who, in today`s context, is a textile artist. He mentions seven elements of skein which form and weave our lives. This paper focuses on the first two elements, genes and sufferings. The discourse on suffering was also mentioned by Mark Hanby and again found in the analogy of the Potter`s House. The way the Bible portrays the Creator as a potter gives us an austere impression. Likewise, the analogy of the Potter`s House contains a precise nature of human existence as a creation of the Creator.

This paper refers to the Biblical views on plastic art for the creative realization of the sculptures in the atheistic background of modern art. At first, we discuss the Biblical views on sculpture: 1. The Bible does not forbid making a sculpture, but rather forbids worshiping it as an idol. 2. The God expects a sculptor to be a little creator according to the image of God, and to participate in the creative world of God as a fellow worker. These two Biblical principles are very important for the Christian sculptors to keep in mind for the meaning of his job and social position. Next we investigate Christian views on materials, space, and themes which constitute the basic frames of sculptures. We are able to summarize the Biblical views on sculptures as follows: 1. As to materials of sculptures, a christian sculptor should realize them as the gift of God, manage them with thank and care, work with the Creator within the limits of the physical properties of them, and do his best to be a skilled technician so that he could express the potentiality of them. 2. As to space, a Christian sculptor should be a steward of it, and thus work with the responsibility for the space and place which a sculpture occupied. Furthermore a Christian sculptor should add What God is pleased to see to God`s creative world or restore the original order in the deformed and destroyed world since the Fall. 3. As to themes, a Christian sculptor may select any theme in the world. However, the point of views in dealing with the themes of the sculpture should be biblical. When sculptors deal with the human being, there are often two possible dangers in the Christian perspective: Human being is, first, easily idolized as an object of worship, and used only as the object of the formative analysis and experiment. Thus, modern Christian sculptors should regard human being as a character while they express him using the methods of the contemporary sculpture. The themes of sculpture in the abstract world, however, can be easily handled with by a Christian sculptor once he realizes both the God`s calling as a little creator and the responsibility as a steward in space and environment.
