The purpose of this article is twofold. Firstly, it surveys Chaucer's use of vocabulary of Germanic and Romance origin in order to identify the phonetic value of final unstressed -e as well as word stress. With regard to Chaucer's meter, isosyllabism and stress alternation are issues of continual debate. Chaucer's pentameter combines the ten-syllable count with stress alternation: the ten syllables are further structured into five iambs. Secondly, it attempts to extract the lines with inverted first feet and headless lines from the General Prologue of the Canterbury Tales so as to reveal why such lines are introduced and what effects they have. Such lines can be said to have the artistic effect placing emphasis on the marked peculiarity of the portraits.
교사와 학교의 배경변인에 따른 초등학교 조직풍토의 차이 분석

본 연구의 목적은 교사와 학교의 배경변인에 따른 초등학교 조직풍토의 차이를 분석하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 대구 및 경북 지역 소재 초등학교에 근무 중인 교사 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 분석을 통해 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 초등학교 조직풍토는 교사의 배경변인에 비해 학교 배경변인에 따른 차이가 상대적으로 큰 것으로 나타났다. 긍정적인 초등학교 조직풍토를 나타내는 학교 배경변인은 ‘농어촌 소재 학교, 소규모 학교, 경북교육청 소속 학교, 공모제 교장, 시범·연구 학교, 여교장, 교육전문직 경력이 없는 교장’으로 확인되었다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of organizational climates elementary schools depending on the teacher and school background variables. Three research questions that we set up to solve are as follows. First, is there a difference of elementary school organizational climates depending on the teacher background variables such as gender, teaching career and need for promotion? Second, is there a difference of elementary school organizational climates depending on the school background variables such as size, local office of education, location, general/model school, principal’s gender, principal with/without educational supervisor careers and generally/publicly recruited principal? Third, what are the characteristics of background variables of schools with positive elementary school organizational climate? The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, there is little difference of organizational climates of the elementary schools depending on the teacher background variables. Second, there is the significant differences of elementary school organizational climates depending on the background variables of school. Third, the characteristics of background variables of schools with positive elementary school organizational climate are small school size, Gyeongbuk office of education, rural school, model school, female principal, principal without educational supervisor careers and publicly recruited principal.

This paper describes retail cost through scenario in the ratio of CG(Centralized Generation) and DG(Decentralized Generation) that constructs new generation capacity in the future. it is not calculated for the supply, but for demand considering an advantage of DG. In the Korea Power System, retail cost that composed of construction, T&D, fuel, maintenance and environment shows macro-trend that power system planning through penetration for DG will be more significant.

This paper assesses interruption costs on the industry load through using the microscopic method. For assessment, the questionnaire was made on Korea Standard Industry Categorization which is composed of 28 type of industry Then, the survey was distributed to 1889 business in 12 area by staffs of KEPCO. The collected data is changed to the trustworthy data by using Bad Data Selection method and then the interruption costs of industry load was calculated by Tobit Regression which is tool analysing both collected data and the others.

This paper presents a power transfer capability calculation algorithm considering transient stability. The theoretical development is straightforward: dynamic equations are converted to numerically equivalent algebraic equation and then integrated into the standard formulation for power transfer capability calculation. The proposed method is applied to IEEE-24 Reliability Test System and the results shows the effectiveness of the method.
