The purpose of this paper is to understand the key factors for efficient maintenance of rapidly aging facilities. Therefore, the safety inspection/diagnosis reports accumulated in the unstructured data were collected and preprocessed. Then, the analysis was performed using a text mining analysis method. The derived vulnerabilities of tunnel facilities can be used as elements of inspections that take into account the characteristics of individual facilities during regular inspections and daily inspections in the short term. In addition, if detailed specification information and other inspection results(safety, durability, and ease of use) are used for analysis, it provides a stepping stone for supporting preemptive maintenance decision-making in the long term.

Cricopharyngeal dyskinesia is termed complete or incomplete failure of relaxation of the cricopharyngeus muscle and is one of the cause of dysphagia. Reduced maximal distensibility or compliance of cricopharyngeus muscle results in dysphagia, globus sensation, aspiration and repeated pulmonary infection. We experienced a case of cricopharyngeal dyskinesia in a 75-year- old female who complained of dysphagia. She was treated by cricopharyngeal myotomy with improvement in her symptom. 농도구배와 평균속도가 삼지화염의 부상 특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구

A triple flame in a mixing layer was studied experimentally with concentration gradient and mean velocity by using a multi-slot burner, which can stabilize the lift-off flame. Flame stabilization condition, lift-off heights, and some other characteristics were examined for methane and propane flame within a range of very low concentration gradient. Pitot-tube and LDV(Laser Doppler Velocimetry) were used for velocity. Mass spectroscopy and Rayleigh scattering signal were used for concentration gradients. Thermo-couples and SiC TFP(Thin Filament Pyrometer) were used for temperature. It was found that minimum values of the lift-off heights exist at a certain concentration gradient for constant mean velocity and this means that the propagation velocity has a maximum value. The scales of flame to the burner nozzle and intensity variation of the diffusion flame were suspected as the cause.
발효·건조 공정을 이용한 하수처리장 협잡물 처리 실증화 기술개발 연구

In this study, a demonstration technology was developed for the treatment of sewage impurities by a fermentation and drying process. To treat the sewage impurities, fermentation and drying devices with a daily processing capacity of 100 kg and 300 kg, respectively, were installed at a public wastewater treatment facility. It was found that the weight loss rate and average water content of the fermentation dried residues from the sewage impurities ranged from 79-84% and 20-25%, respectively. The residues satisfied the quality standards of solid refuse fuel, meaning they could be reused as auxiliary fuel for coal-fired electrical power plants or cement factories. The fermentation and drying process was much more economical and environmentally friendly than the incineration process mainly used to treat sewage impurities. Compared with the incineration process, the fermentation and drying process was about 78% less expensive.

The present study has been conducted to propose an algorithm regarding real-time load estimation of a gas engine-driven heat pump. In the study, thermal load of an indoor unit is estimated in terms of air-side and refrigerant-side. The air-side estimation is based on a typical heat exchanger model and is found to be in good agreement with experimental data. When it comes to the refrigerant-side load, a pressure difference across a valve must be estimated. For the estimation, it is assumed to be proportional to a bigger pressure difference that is available either by measurement or by estimation. Relative good agreement between the air- and refrigerant- sides suggests that the assumption may be plausible for the load estimation. The summed flow rate of all of indoor units is in good agreement with the throughput of the compressor which are calculated from the manufacturer’s software. Accordingly, estimated thermal loads are also in good agreement. The proposed algorithm may be further developed for improved control algorithm and fault diagnosis.

Fault detection has to be proceeded by steady state filtering to get rid of transient effect associated with thermal capacity. Coefficient of variance (COV), ratio of standard deviation devided by moving average, was employed as steady-state filter. Engine speed and refrigerant pressures were selected as parameters representing system dynamics. The filtered values were registered as members of steady-state DB. They were found to show good functional relationship with ambient temperature. The relationship was fitted with a second order polynomial and the distribution bounds of the data around the fitted curve were expressed in terms of confidence intervals which were calculated from the assumption of Student's t-distribution. Fault data were compared with the steady-state data obtained during normal operation. The fault data were easily isolated from the normal one. To make the fault-detection algorithm sense, more fault cases have to be tested.
