정보량이 많은 사진과 같은 화상 정보는 대용량을 갖고 있는 광 디스크에 축적시켜 DB를 구축하고 이는 컴퓨터를 이용해 고속 검색할 수 있다. 사진 DB 구축은 사진의 양, 구 축 목적, 이용 대상, 활용 방법 등에 따라 방법을 달리할 수 있으며 이의 검색 요소에는 촬 영 행위, 촬영 조건, 표제, 주제의 4가지 요소가 있고 그 중 가장 중요시되는 주제 요소에는 감각 정보, 주제 분류, 키워드가 있다.

유리 소재는 뛰어난 기계적, 화학적, 광학 특성으로 인해 다양한 영역에서 광범위하게 활용되어 왔으며, 최근에는 특정 물성이 강화된 기능성 유리 수요가 다양한 산업 영역에서 급속히 증가하고 있다. 유리 소재 분야에서의 연구 개발은 유리 특유의 비정질 구조 및 다원소 조성 특성에 의한 복합성 때문에 전통적으로 경험에 기반한 실험기법에 의존하여 왔다. 그러나 적용 분야에 따른 맞춤형 물성 강화에 대한 필요성이 증대됨에 따라, 핵심 물성 발현원리 등을 원자 단위에서 이해하고 이를 바탕으로 기능성 유리 소재를 설계하는 접근법이 주목받고 있다. 원자단위 시뮬레이션 및 이론 기반 모델링은 유리 소재의 다양한 물성과 조성 변화에 따른 원자 구조의 상관관계를 매우 효율적으로 분석할 수 있는 기법이다. 본 기고문 에서는 밀도범함수이론, 분자동역학 및 위상속박이론을 활용한 기능성 유리 소재 개발 및 연구 동향에 대해서 소개하고자 한다.

This paper is about EO sensor module control based on the image processing. The main purpose of this research is acquiring a latitude and longitude of the target located on the ground by using image processing. For image processing, OpenCV is employed which is a computer vision library originally developed by Intel, and ATmega128 is used for the EO sensor module control. This task also involves realization of control programs and acquisition of sensor view angle for the position of the target.
2중 증발 시스템의 원리와 냉방 및 연비 성능 개선 효과에 대한 연구

In many countries, Regulations regarding CO2 emission reduction are recently being released. It is becoming more and more important to improve the fuel efficiency of vehicles in the automotive industry. Due to these circumstances, advanced technologies improving the efficiency of the air conditioning system which affects actual fuel efficiency of vehicles have been developing for many years. In this paper, two-zone separated evaporation system which can maximize evaporator & expansion valve`s efficiency is studied. Two-zone separated evaporation system consists of two key technology, dual evaporator and dual expansion valve. Unlike the typical evaporator, the dual evaporator has parallel flow in two rows independently. In 1st row, it is necessary to supply more refrigerant flow rate to 1st row, as higher portion of the cooling is done. In 2nd row, to further cool the air, the refrigerant which is less pressure & temperature than that of the 1st row has to be supplied to the 2nd row. Dual expansion valve expands into the two phase regions and distributes refrigerant to each row of the dual evaporator. This paper presents experimental results of cooling performance in test mode to simulate vehicle cabin cooling evaluation. The conventional system & two zone separated evaporation system were compared in bench and vehicle test mode. As a result, two-zone evaporation system has 10% higher A/C efficiency than conventional system. It is identified that applying two-zone evaporation system to vehicles can improve fuel efficiency.

Cysteine (Cys) is a crucial amino acid. Developing a method for Cys evaluation and detection is necessaryfor the diagnosis of various diseases. A variety of sensors use graphene quantum dots (GQDs) for biological compounddetermination; however, GQDs demonstrate very poor fluorescence quantum yield. Therefore, we doped nitrogenand phosphorus into GQDs to form composite material NP-GQDs with enhanced fluorescence properties. NPGQDswere characterized by ultraviolet-visible, fluorescence spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and X-rayphotoelectron spectroscopy. Then, we used NP-GQDs as donors and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) as acceptors todesign a fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) system for Cys detection. Optimal conditions for sensing wereinvestigated, and under these conditions our FRET system showed good results in Cys determination. The fluorescenceintensity of NP-GQDs was quenched proportionally along with increasing Cys concentration from 0.5 to 4.5 Mand the limit of detection (LOD) was 0.1 M. In the presence of different amino acids, the FRET system also showedexcellent selectivity for the Cys detection.
수냉식 응축기를 활용한 자동차용 에어컨 시스템 효율 향상에 관한 실험적 연구

Recently regulations regarding C0₂ emission and fuel economy of automobile are being increased. Accordingly power consumption reduction of Mobile Air-Conditioning system(MAC) has been continuously requested. There have been numerous attempts to use a water-cooled condenser instead of conventional air-cooled condenser in an airconditioning system. This paper describes an experimental results of using water-cooled condenser in air-conditioning system. Using additional water-cooled condenser was the most effective way among numerous water-cooled condenser systems. The water-cooled condenser cools refrigerant from superheated state to a two-phase state and the air-cooled condenser cools from two-phase state to sub cool state. This was named combined cooling condenser system which had both a water cooled condenser and an air cooled condenser. Bench and vehicle test were conducted to verify the effects to reduce power consumption due to decreased discharge pressure of air-conditioning system. By using combined cooling condenser system, A/C efficiency improved about 9.4% over the conventional A/C system.
