치안여건의 변화와 경찰업무 수행능력의 향상 및 대국민 신뢰도 회복을 위하여 범죄예방과 통제의 기능을 경찰기관만이 수행해야 한다는 인식을 버리고 경찰업무 중 민간경비분야와 역할분담으로 경찰의 치안역량을 강화해야 될 시기가 되었다고 할 수 있다. 선진국들은 민간경비 제도가 경찰의 범죄예방능력과 유사한 수준이거나 오히려 능가할 정도로 효과적인 활동을 수행하고 있다. 검찰과 수사권 조정문제로 사회적 이슈하가 되어 있는 시점에 경찰업무 가중으로 인한 경찰전문성의 저해와 국민에 대한 신뢰감이 떨어진다면 경찰발전에도 큰 걸림돌이 될 것이다. 이 중요한 시점에 경찰 각 업무의 전문화와 경찰업무 중 민간경비분야로 이관할 업무는 경찰과 민간경비의 발전을 위해서 신속히 이루어 져야 할 것이다. 이에 민간경비차원에서는 경찰업무 이관을 대비하여 경비원의 자질향상과 교육, 훈련 등 전문화 교육훈련 프로그램 개발이나 법적인 대책마련이 강구 되어야 할 것이다. 경찰력의 한계로 야기되는 치안공백 상태를 효율적으로 대처하기 위해서는 경비수요를 창출하는 수익자 개개인 스스로가 자위적인 차원에서 방범체제를 구축하려는 사회적분위기도 함께 조성되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 민간경비의 자체적인 노력과 국가차원의 사회적 지원 그리고 경찰의 지속적인 방범능력 증대가 동시에 이루어질 때 우리사회가 궁극적으로 추구하는 범죄 없는 나라로 나아가야 할 것이다. 21세기 선진 경찰을 실현하기 위해서는 민영화가 불가피하고 민영화를 통해 경찰 본연의 임무에 더욱 충실하게 되고 국민을 위한 치안서비스를 더욱 확립시키는 계기가 될 것이다. 그리고 경찰의 전문화와 협력자적 민간경비분야의 발전을 위하고 경찰업무의 효율성을 극대화하기 위해서는 민간경비분야의 확대와 제도적인 마련이 필요하다, 이런 민간경비 분야의 발전을 위하여 법적규제를 재정비하고 민간경비분야의 범위를 확대하는 방법과 민간경비분야의 지도와 감독을 강화하는 것이 민간경비시장의 개방에 대비하는 것이고 발전하는 것이라 할 것이다. 『제철공장에서의 삶』 - 중산계급 여성 화자의 역할

  This paper analyses the role of the narrator in Life in the Iron Mills(1861). The class issue is very important in this novella, which is called the first work to deal with the working class in the American literary history. It is critical to understand the characteristics of this "middle-class" "female" narrator to get a better understanding of the issue. In this novella, the main narrative is the story of the two working class people, Hugh and Deborah. To tell readers the story, Davis created a narrator and a listener(or listeners) who are middle class people. Thanks to their presence and the story frame, readers are presented with the views and ideologies of middle or high class Americans about lower class people, as well as the miserable state of the working class in 1860"s.<BR>  The narrator is very critical and poignant in depicting high or middle class Americans when showing us what typical middle-class Americans say and how they act. This was possible because she was from the same class, which she was very familiar with. On the other hand, she has some limits in presenting working class people. The working class life is described only as dirty, ignorant and full of crimes. She doesn"t relate the working class life to positive traits like adherence to real life and the fulfilling of true value of labor. She presents labor as something to get over to live a meaningful life.<BR>  In the story the worker-artist Hugh Wolfe doesn"t seem to be a type of the working class but an exception of it. In some sense he is a projection of a female artist who is also unprivileged in the society. The author is sympathetic to him when she describes his despair as an artist. But she shows us him to be rather cold and unfeeling, in which he is contrasted with Deborah, the heroine. Davis seems to approve her power of sympathy and affection.<BR>  When showing Deborah"s emotions and values, the narrator reveals her middle class sensitivity. It is also notable that Davis created a realistic and healthy type of working class woman rather than conventional one, which is one of Davis"s great achievements.<BR>  In a sense, this story is not about the working class itself, but about the way in which the middle class people react to working class people. Davis is honest and realistic in that matter. She shows the middle class people as they are and that becomes her self-assessment. That is one of the reasons why Life in the Iron Mills is a great work.

For this reason, many critics argue that Emerson is reflected in Isabel Emersonian transcendentalism has a great influence on her, so that she maintains that the individual is opposed to society and that the self should predominate over circumstances. Emersonian traits affect her action, particularly in her choice of husband. Even after Isabel realizes the true nature of her husband and learns that Osmond married her for money, she does not abandon the responsibility of marriage. Many critics think that the decision is the result of her mental growth. Granting that her final decision is the indication of her development in a sense, It seems more persuasive to argue that she did not change much in other respects. Her real problem in the choice of her husband was not so much ignorance of reality as repression of instinct and spontaneous emotion. At the final stage, her mind and will power is even stronger than before. She puts absolute emphasis on her self at the cost of the harmomous relationship of the self and the outer world. The same can be said of Emerson Critics argue that Emerson radically changes from a naive idealist into a mature pragmatist. However, It seems that his change, like Isabel`s, is not fundamental. Emerson simply became more shrewd but did not realize that his self-oriented attitude was the real problem.

This study was conducted to examine the effect of myofibrillar Z-disk backbone structure on meat tenderness in each part of the chicken during post-mortem aging. The degree of meat tenderization during this aging was the highest in M. pectoralis profundus and the lowest in M. soleus. Also, the post-mortem changes of Z-disk structure was the most significant in M. pecioralis profundus and hardly appeared in M, soleus. The width of the structural backbone of Z-disk was 36㎚ in white muscle type Z-disk which constitute M. pectoralis profundus and 110㎚ in red muscle type Z-disk which form M. soleus. The structural backbone of Z-disk was two-fold in the former and four-fold in the latter. Amounts of α-actinin in myofibrillar proteins were 3.0% in M. pectoralis profundus, 3.7% in M. sartorius and 4.7% in M. soleus. These results confirm that the structutral backbone of Z-disk contributes to the difference of meat tenderness in each part.

In this study, the MDF methodology is applied to the power yacht hull design, and constitutes a optimization process. 정신보건체계는 오랫동안 간호사, 의사, 임상심리사, 사회복시사 등이 포함되는 다학제적 팀에 의해 운영되어 왔다. 특히 이러한 다학제적 운영은 지역사회정신보건사업에서 포괄적인 치료를 담당하는데는 매우 중요하다. 전통적으로 병원입원을 중심으로 하는 임상정신의학에서 그 책임자는 대개 정신과의사였다. 하지만, 지역사회정신보건사업이 강조되고, 2000년 1월 12일 개정된 정신보건법에 따르면 앞으로는 반드시 그렇지만도 않다. 이러한 경향은 곧 여러 경우에 포괄적이고 생물-심리-사회적인 면에 가장 전문가인 정신과의사를 배제한 채 운영될 것이다. 이것은 중증 정신질환이 의학적 영역에 남아있는 한 부정적인 결과를 초래할 것이다. 지역사회정신보건체계는 가장 심각한 정신질환, 즉 정신분열병, 양극성 장애, 재발성 주요우울증 등을 앓고 있는 환자들의 치료 및 재활을 그 주요 목표로 하고 있다. 이 환자들의 적절한 치료 및 재활은 정신보건체계내 모든 기관에서 정신과의사의 적절한 리더쉽을 규정하여만 보장될 수 있다. The psychiatric care has been delivered through the combined expertise of multidisciplinary teams that include, among others, nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. The multidisciplinary approach is vital to the provision of comprehensive care within community mental health setting. Traditionally, mental health hospital have been headed by psychiatrists. This will be no longer true for community mental health programs since the revision of Mental Health Law on Jan 12, 2000. As soon, the result of the trend will be that the comprehensive, biopsychosocial expertise brought by psychiatrists has been absent in many cases. This has negative consequences as serious mental illness are in the medical domain. The community mental health systems are responsible for the care and treatment of large numbers of persons with the most serious mental illnesses, eg. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, recurrent major depression. The qualified care for these persons must be assured through defining appropriate leadership role for psychiatrist at all levels of the mental health care system.

한국 토종 닭고기의 정미 성분 중 유리아미노산과 핵산관련물질에 대한 연구

토종닭과 broiler의 고기 맛에 관계하는 정미성분의 함량을 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 두 종 모두에서 유리 아미노산 중 고기 특유의 풍미를 나타내는 carnosine의 함량이 가장 많았고 정미에 크게 영향을 미치는 glutamic acid함량도 많은 것으로 나타났다. Carnosine은 가슴살 그리고 28주령의 토종 닭고기에서 가장 많았으며, 다리살에 있어서는 6주령 이상의 토종 닭고기에 많았다. Glutamic acid함량은 다리살 그리고 11주령 이상의 토종 닭고기에서 많았고, 가슴살에 있어서는 6주령 이상의 토종 닭고기에 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. 도살 후 4℃에서 48시간 저장한 경우 유리아미노산은 carnosine을 제외하고 대부분 증가했으며, carnosine은 도살 직후와 동일하게 가슴살에서는 28주령의 토종 닭고기에, 다리살에서는 11주령 이상의 토종 닭고기에 더 많았다. Glutamic aicd는 가슴살에 있어서는 11주령 이상의 토종 닭고기에, 다리살에는 6주령 이상의 토종 닭고기에 더 많았다. 또한 좋지 않은 맛을 나타내는 아미노산의 합에 대한 좋은 맛을 나타내는 아미노산의 합의 비에 있어서도 11주령 이상의 토종 닭고기에 더 높게 나타났으며, IMP의 경우 전반적으로 15주령 이상의 토종 닭고기에 많은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유리아미노산 및 핵산관련물질의 결과로 미루어 11주령 이상의 토종 닭고기가 육용의 broiler 고기보다 정미성분이 많아 맛에 있어 우수함을 나타내고 있다. Characteristics of components related to meat taste of broiler and Korean native chicken (KNC) were investigated. Carnosine was detected much more in the breast meat of KNC at 28 weeks of age and in the leg meat of KNC over 6 weeks of age than broiler. Glutamic acid was much contained in the leg meat of KNC over 11 weeks of age. In the case of breast meat, the content of glutamic acid was higher in KNC over 6 weeks of age than that of others. The ratio of good-tasting amino acid to bitter-tasting amino acid was higher in KNC over 11 weeks of age than broiler. Concentration of IMP in KNC over 15 weeks of age was higher than that of broiler.
