        3차원 도립진자 시스템의 구현 및 퍼지 제어

        새로운 3차원 도립진자 시스템의 구현 및 퍼지제어에 관하여 논한다. 기존의 1차원 또는 2차원 도립진자 시스템과 달리, 3차원 도립진자 시스템은 상하 운동을 포함하는 인간의 도립진자 제어행위를 적절히 모사할 수 있는 새로운 시스템이다. 3차원 도립진자 시스템의 특성 분석과 퍼지제어기 설계를 위하여 3축 직교로봇과 도립진자를 포함하는 기구부의 동력학식을 유도한다. 로봇의 여유자유도와 제한된 작업영역을 고려하면서 도립진자의 요오(yaw) 및 피치(pitch)각을 제어하기 위한 퍼지제어기 설계 방법을 제안한다. 개발된 PC 기반의 다축제어보드를 이용한 실험 결과를 통하여 제안된 시스템의 성능을 검증한다. The fuzzy control and implementation of a new three-dimensional(3-D) inverted pendulum system are addressed. In comparison with conventional 1-D and 2-D systems, the 3-D inverted pendulum system is a proper benchmark system to simulate human's control action which includes the up and down motion to stabilize an inverted pendulum. To investigate the characteristics of the 3-D inverted pendulum system and to design of a fuzzy controller, we derive dynamic equations of the mechanism including a 3-axis cartesian robot and an inverted pendulum. We propose a design method of a fuzzy controller of the yaw and pitch angles of an inverted pendulum. In the design, the redundant degree-of-freedom(DOF) of the robot and the constrained workspace are taken into account. The performance of the proposed system is proved by experimental results using a developed PC-based Multi-Motion Control(MMC) board.

        비만치료제 의약품이상사례 실마리정보 검색 : 국내 의약품 이상사례보고시스템 자료를 활용하여

        The objective of this study was detection of signals corresponding to adverse drug reactions following obesitytreatments using the Korea Adverse Event Reporting System Database. Eight obesity drugs recommended in the obesitytreatment guidelines were analyzed for adverse events reported from January 2009 to December 2018. The ratio ofreporting, ratio of reporting odds, and information components were analyzed, and the case in which all three criteria weremet was detected as a signal. Signals that were not included in the label were classified as new signals. In the case ofphentermine, phendimetrazine, diethylpropion, lorcaserin, mazindol, liraglutide, or listat, and naltrexone/bupropion, therewere 2, 10, 5, 6, 1, 10, 7, and 5 confirmed cases of signal detection, respectively. No new signal was detected forphentermine and mazindol adverse events. For phendimetrazine, diethylpropion, lorcaserin, liraglutide, orlistat, andnaltrexone/bupropion, there were 5, 2, 1, 7, 4, and 1 cases of new signals, respectively. This study assessed signal detectionrelated to adverse events for eight obesity drugs. It is necessary to consider whether permission information should bereflected through continuous research on the detection of signals that are not reflected in the existing permits.

      • 어휘 주석의 종류가 한국 고등학교 영어 학습자의 우연적 어휘 학습에 미치는 영향

        Effective vocabulary learning and teaching are important because Korean high school English classes focus on reading and vocabulary is in an inseparable relation with reading. Although traditional direct vocabulary teaching focusing on form and meaning of words seem to have an immediate effect, it lacks authentic vocabulary use and results in only fragmentary knowledge. The importance of vocabulary learning in authentic situation has lead to studies that understanding meaning of vocabulary in meaningful and communicative context is effective. Unintended incidental vocabulary learning can occur naturally through reading, and many studies showed that providing marginal glosses was very effective way for incidental vocabulary learning. Therefore, this study examines the effects of marginal glosses on the incidental vocabulary learning. The subjects used for this study consisted of two hundred fifty eight second-year high school students who were divided into three groups, Korean gloss group, English gloss group, and no gloss group. These three groups read two passages; an expository text and a narrative text. They answered reading comprehension questions with the given texts, and then they submitted the texts. Next they had the first unexpected vocabulary test. A week later, the second unexpected vocabulary test which was the equivalent of the first was administered in order to examine the retention of the acquired vocabulary. Right after the second test, the vocabulary test in context was given to investigate the effect of context on recall. In addition, a questionnaire which asked the usefulness of the glosses and the attitude to hereafter use of glosses was completed. The process in which twelve learners used the glosses was investigated through think-aloud protocols and they were interviewed about their opinions toward the passages and glosses through retrospection protocols. The major results of this study are as follows. First, the results showed a significant effect of the glosses on the incidental vocabulary learning and the retention. Also the glosses had a significant effect on recall when context was given. Moreover, the Korean glosses had a more powerful effect on vocabulary learning than the English glosses. Second, the results of the questionnaire indicated that the Korean gloss group had more advantages from glosses than the English gloss group did. But both groups showed positive attitude towards hereafter use of both Korean and English glosses. The fact that the English gloss group showed significantly higher score in the attitude to the use of English glosses indicates that the experience of using English glosses had a positive effect on the learners' attitude. Third, the process of using English glosses were observed through think-aloud protocols. The learners generally made good use of English glosses and understood the meaning correctly. However the small quantity of incidental vocabulary learning was confirmed by the low score on the vocabulary test It means that giving right answers on the vocabulary test was not easy even though the subjects understood the English glosses when reading. Fourth, the interview concluded that the expository text in this study was easier to understand than the narrative because of the familiarity of the wards and that the glosses were very helpful to understand both the texts. The learners have a positive attitude to study vocabulary meaning through English, and want textbooks to have English glosses and teachers to teach them words with English meaning. They prefer English meaning with Korean meaning to English meaning only. In summary, the results of this study indicate that marginal glosses are effective not only on reading comprehension but also on vocabulary learning. This suggests that reading passages should have marginal glosses. Moreover, appropriate English glosses should be provided based on features of wards and learners' proficiency levels, considered the fact that the English gloss group and the upper level learners have a positive attitude to the use of English glosses.

        Protamine 의 심근 독성에 대한 연구

        The cellular cardiac effects of protamine, the cationic polypeptide employed to reverse heparin anticoagulation, were examined in vitro to define its mechanisms of action. Isometric contractile force and action potential (AP) characteristics after rest (RS) and at frequencies up to 3 Hz were recorded in guinea pig ventricular papillary muscle. The actions of protamine (10-300 ㎍/ ml) were compared to those of heparin (10, 30 units/ml), and to heparin (10 units/ml) neutralized with equivalent (100 ㎍/ml) or excess (200 ㎍/ml) protamine. The effects of protamine were also examined using muscle rapid cooling contractures (RCCs to assess intracellular Ca^(2+) stores). Protamine (100-300 ㎍/ml) depressed contractions by 35-65% at 3 Hz, whereas contractions were enhanced 150-500% at lower rates (RS-0.5 Hz), with a concommitant rise in resting force. Protamine caused a resting depolarization from -84 to -72 mV and depressed AP amplitude. In contrast, heparin minimally altered contractile or AP characteristics. In 26 mM K^+-solution with 0.1 uM isoproterenol, 30-300 ug/ml protamine caused dose-dependent depression of late peaking force development and slow AP prolongation. After 15 minutes rest, when RCCs were not normally elicited, rest RCCs became prominent in 100-300 ㎍/ml protamine. Effects of heparin with 100 ㎍/ml excess protamine were similar to those of 100 ㎍/ml protamine alone. In conclusion the loss of normal force-frequency relation, partial depolarization, rise in resting tension, and appearance of rested state RCCs suggest that unbound protamine can lead to excess intracellular Ca^(2+), mediated by an alteration in memebrane ionic conductances.
