Bee Venom Inhibits DU-145 Human Prostate Cancer Cell Growth Through Inactivation of NF-${\kappa}$B

목적 : 이 연구는 봉독이 NF-${\kappa}$B의 활성억제를 통하여 전립선 암세포주인 DU-145 세포의 성장을 억제하 는지를 확인하고 그 기전을 살펴보고자 하였다. 방법 : 봉독을 처리한 후 DU-145의 성장억제를 관찰하기 위해 WST-1 assay를 시행하였고, 세포자멸사의 관찰에는 DAPI staining assay를 통한 세포형태관찰을 시행하였으며, 염증관련유전자 발현 관찰에는 western blot analysis를 시행하였고, 세포자멸사와 연관된 NF-${\kappa}$B의 활성 변화를 관찰하기 위해 EMSA와 luciferase assay를 시행하였으며, DU-145에서 봉독과 NF-${\kappa}$B의 상호작용을 관찰하기 위해 transient transfection assay를 시행하여 세포생존율과 NF-${\kappa}$B의 활성 변동을 측정하였다. 결과 : DU-145 세포에서 봉독을 처리한 후 세포성장이 억제되었으며, 염증관련유전자 발현 및 NF-${\kappa}$B의 활성의 유의한 감소를 나타내었다. DU-145 세포에서 NF-${\kappa}$B의 p50와 IKK들을 치환하여 작용기를 없애고 봉독을 처리하였을 경우에도 세포활성 및 NF-${\kappa}$B의 활성의 유의한 감소를 나타내었다. 결론 : 이상의 결과는 봉독이 NF-${\kappa}$B의 활성 억제를 통하여 인간 전립선암세포주인 DU-145의 세포자멸사를 유발함으로써 증식억제 효과가 있음을 입증한 것으로 전립선암의 예방과 치료에 대한 효과적인 치료제 개발에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 다만 그 기전에서 봉독은 기존연구와 같은 NF-${\kappa}$B p50 및 IKK들의 작용기와 상호작용 이외에 다른 기전이 관여되는 것으로 심화 연구를 요한다.

최근 10년간 전침을 관절염에 응용한 연구에 대한 고찰

Objectives This study is to research the trend of the treatment of arthritis by electroacupuncture and to establish the hereafter direction for the study on electroacupuncture treatment on arthritis. Methods We reviewed recent 10 years(2002~2011) of english articles that provide full text on pub-med using the keyword electroacupuncture and arthritis . Result We have searched 11 articles. 1. Subjects of study were as follow: The studies on Osteoarthritis were 7, the studies on Rheumatoid arthritis were 3, The study on acute gouty arthritis was 1. 2. For Acupuncture point selection, 8 out of 11 studies used local points, making it more common than distant point selection. 3. The frequency applied was mostly under 10Hz and 2Hz was the most applied frequency. 4. Placebo acupuncture was used for control, but the methods were not consistent. 5. The most frequently adopted evaluation tools were Visual Analogue Scale and Numeric Rating Scale. Conclusion We were able to understand the tendency of electroacupuncture protocol of arthritis over last decade(2002~2011). To establish protocol for electroacupuncture on arthritis, we need more researches about electroacupuncture on arthritis.

Isoflavonoid의 피부염증균에 대한 항균 및 항산화효과

Puerarin and daidzin have been isolated from Puerariae thunbergiana Benth. Structures were determined by spectroscopic methods. Compounds showed weak antimicrobial activity against S. mutans, S. epidermidis, S. aureus, and C. albicans (MIC, 800㎍/㎖). However, these compounds were not antioxidative. Puerariae thunbergiana Benth. extracts against microorgani는 were evaluated in terms of the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC). In general, C. albicans was stronger antimicrobial activity than the other microorgani는. The antioxidative activity of was observed in the etyl acetate extract (IC50, 119.87±0.16㎍/㎖). The DPPH radical scavenging effect (IC50, 1,673.3±0.54μM) of the puerarin was comparable with that of synthetic antioxidant, BHA(IC50, 88.39±1.1)×10-3 μM. These results suggest that puerarin and daidzin have a potential antimicrobial activity.

경근추나를 중심으로 보존적 치료 후 호전된 요추추간판탈출증 치험례

This study is designed to evaluate the effect of conservative oriental medical treatment with Kyungkuen Chuna for Herniated intervertebral lumber disc(HIVD) patient. The improvement of the patient was evaluated by Range of Motion(ROM), Straight Leg Rasing Test(SLRT), Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), Oswestry Low-back Pain Disability Index(ODI). After conservative oriental medical treatment with Kyungkuen Chuna, ROM, SLRT, VAS and ODI were significantly improved. It is suggested that Conservative oriental medical treatment with Kyungkuen Chuna could be effective methods to treat the HIVD patient.

정서인식명확성과 분노표현방식 관계에서 분노반추의 매개효과

본 연구는 정서인식명확성과 분노표현방식의 관계에서 분노반추의 매개역할을 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 과정에서 선행연구들을 기초로 하여, 분노반추의 하위요인 중 원인반추를 기능적 반추, 기억과 보복반추를 역기능적 반추로 구분하여 설정하였고, 분노표현방식역시 하위요인 중 분노통제를 기능적 분노표현방식, 분노표출과 억압을 역기능적 분노표현방식으로 구분하여 설정하였다. 상관연구결과, 정서인식명확성은 기능적 분노반추와 기능적 분노표현방식에서 유의미한 정적상관을 보였고, 기능적 분노반추는 기능적, 역기능적 분노표현방식 모두에서 정적상관을 보였다. 경로분석결과 정서인식명확성은 기능적 분노표현방식과 직접경로도 유의미하였으나, 기능적 분노반추를 통한 간접경로일 경우 좀 더 예측력이 높았다. 또한 정서인식명확성이 기능적 분노표현방식에 미치는 영향에서는 기능적 분노반추가, 역기능적 분노표현방식에 미치는 영향에서는 역기능적 분노반추가 각각 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과의 상담적 의의 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의에 포함하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the mediation effects of anger rumination in the relationship between emotional clarity and anger expression attitude. Based on previous studies, anger rumination and anger expression were classified into functional and dysfunctional sub-factors. After analyzing correlations between variables, emotional clarity was found to be statistically positively correlated with functional anger rumination and functional anger expression attitude. Functional anger rumination was also positively related with functional and dysfunctional anger expression. Based on path analysis, functional anger rumination displayed stronger relations with emotional clarity than functional anger expression. Findings of this study identified a possible pathway through which to influence anger expression attitudes, thereby providing useful ideas for counselors who provide intervention services.

Objective The purpose of this study was to analyze characteristic of patients visited Korean medical clinic in athletes village polyclinic at the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games and provide basic data for specialization of Korean medicine. Methods We investigated 91 cases of patients (athletes, workfoces, volunteers, and IOC, NOC staffs) who had visited Korean medical clinic in athletes village polyclinic at the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games from 9, March 2014 to 18, March 2018. Results The total number of patients were 91, percentage of male patients was 59.3%, and Female patients was 40.7%. The average age of male patients who visited Korean medical clinic were 39.51±14.03 years old and that of female patients were 40.35±16.62. There were 61 Korean patients who visited, and the most visited athlets is cross country skiers. Case of Injuries are more than illnesses, pain is the most symptom of injuries. The most locations of injury is head and neck. The rate of patients who had experienced acupunture treatment was 66. Many patients were treated by acupuncture, Chuna, Cupping, taping therapy and Patients satisfaction point is 5 point out of 171 cases, 4 point out of 28 cases. Conclusions In this study, korean medicine positive effect on athletes at the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.

Eight-membered ring spiro orthocarbonate (C$_{25}H_{20}O_4$, M$_r$ = 384) is monoclinic, space group C2/c, with a = 15.319(4), b = 9.057(3), c = 13.168(3)${\AA}$, ${\beta}$ = 98.53(3)$^{\circ}$, Z = 4, F(000) = 808, T = 290 K, ${\mu}$(Mo-K${\alpha}$) = 0.55 cm$_1$, D$_c$ = 1.36 g/cm$^3$ and D$_m$ = 1.40 g/cm$^3$. The intensity data were collected with Mo-K${\alpha}$ radiation (${\lambda}$ = 0.7107 ${\AA}$) on an automatic four-circle diffractometer with a graphite monochromater. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by full matrix least-squares methods. The final R value was 0.052 for 1412 observed reflections. The molecule has C$_2$point symmetry. The eight-membered ring has a chair conformation with pseudo-C$_s$ symmetry. The naphthyl ring is planar with the C-C bond lengths being in the range of 1.352∼1.444${\AA}$ and bond angles of 117.2∼123.5$^{\circ}$. The bond lengths of C(1)-C(9), C(8)-C(9) and C(9)-C(10) are somewhat longer than those of the other C-C bonds. 8원자-고리를 가지고 있는 Spiro Orthocarbonate(C$_{25}H_{20}O_4$)의 분자 및 결정구조를 X-선법으로 연구하였다. 이 결정은 단사정계이고 공간군은 C2/c이다. 단위세포 길이는 a = 15.319(4), b = 9.057(3), c = 13.168(3)${\AA}$이며, ${\beta}$값은 98.53(3)$^{\circ}$이고 Z = 4이다. 회절 반점들의 세기는 흑연 단색화 장치가 있는 자동 4축회절기로 얻었으며 Mo-K${\alpha}$ X-선(${\lambda}$ = 0.7107 ${\AA}$)을 사용하였다. 분자구조는 직접법으로 풀었으며 최소자승법으로 정밀화 하였고, 최종 신뢰도 R값은 1412개의 회전반점에 대하여 0.052였다. 분자는 C$_2$ 점군에 속하는 대칭성을 갖고 있다. 8원자-고리의 형태는 pseudo-C$_s$ symmetry를 갖는 의자형이다. 두 개의 나프탈렌 고리들은 서로 거의 직각을 이루며 고리내의 C-C 결합길이는 1.352∼1.444${\AA}$범위에 있고 내부결합 각도는 117.2∼123.1$^{\circ}$범위에 있다. 8원자-고리의 영향으로 C(1)-C(9), C(8)-C(9) 그리고 C(9)-C(10)이 다른 C-C 결합길이 보다 약간 길다.
