디지털 매체와 도시공간의 변화에 대응하는 영화 전략 연구 -페드로 코스타, 가이 매딘, 톰 앤더슨의 작품을 중심으로-

최근 도시공간을 다루는 영화들은 두 가지 차원의 문제에 직면하고 있다. 첫째, 영화매체의 디지털화로 인해 필름에서 확고했던 존재론적 지시성이 흔들리고 있고 둘째, 세계화로 인해 도시공간이 획일화되면서 장소성이 사라지고 있다. 이 두 가지 문제들로 인해 영화는 도시공간의 고유한 특성을 담아내는 실존적 지시능력을 상실하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 도시이미지의 지표성의 위기라고 규정하고, 이러한 위기에 대응하고 있는 세 편의 영화를 분석하고자 한다. 페드로 코스타의 <반다의 방>, 가이 매딘의 <마이 위니펙>, 톰 앤더슨의 <로스엔젤레스 자화상>은 각각 철거와 철거민의 문제, 사적 기억을 통한 도시이미지, 도시공간을 다룬 과거영화들에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이런 주제들은 과거 도시공간을 다룬 영화들에게 이미 익숙한 주제들이다. 하지만 위의 세 편의 영화는 과거와는 다른 방식으로 도시공간에 접근한다. 작품의 분석 결과로 도출된 이 영화들의 전략은 다음과 같다. 페드로 코스타는 디지털 매체를 통해 현재성을 시각화하는 방식으로 도시 재개발과 철거민의 삶에 내재된 감각들을 물질화한다. 가이 매딘은 사적 기억을 통해 개인적 차원에서 도시의 신화를 만들어내어 도시공간에 실존적 지표를 부여한다. 톰 앤더슨은 파운드 푸티지 형식을 통해 로스앤젤레스라는 도시를 묘사한 할리우드 영화에서 배경인 도시공간을 전면으로 드러내고 이에 역사적인 맥락을 부여한다. 이러한 전략들은 도시공간의 지표성을 확보하기 위해 도시공간의 비장소화에 저항하고 장소성을 드러내고 있다. Recently, films about urban space are facing two-dimensional problems. At first, the film’s inherent indexicality is at stake because of digitalization of cinemas. Secondly, the placeness is dispersed as urban spaces are generalized because of globalization. Due to these two problems, films are losing the existential ability to direct that captures the unique characteristics of urban space. This paper defines that it’s the crisis of indexicality of urban space, and analyze three films that are responding to this crisis. Three Films are Pedro Costa In Vanda’s room, Guy Maddin My Winnipeg and Tom Andersen Los Angeles Plays Itself. Each film is focusing on problem of demolition and displaced people, images of urban space trough private memories and past films about urban space. Films about urban space already handled these subjects in the past. However, these three films approached to urban space unlike the past methods. As a result of analysis, following are strategies of these films. Pedro Costa materializes the sense immanent in displaced people through the visualization of presentness using digital media. Guy Maddin endows urban spaces with mythical properties by converging his own private memories and the history of Winnipeg. Thom Andersen foregrounds urban spaces in the films to describe Los Angeles as backgrounds through the found footage method and contextualizes them historically. To secure indexicality of urban space, these strategies are resisting to non-places and revealing placeness.

중심 유방조직 피판을 이용한 유방 축조술의 임상적 고찰

Recently the methods of breast reduction were developed variably and rapidly, and the needs of reduction mammoplasty are increasing now. The goal of reduction mammoplasty is a well formed breast with natural contour and volume. And minimal scar with hidden area is important due to very conspicous scar. In addition, the sensation of nipple-areola complex and breast feeding are considerable aspect in breast reduction. The conventional technique of reduction mammoplasty revealed many problems such as large inverted T-shaped scar, loss of sensation in nipple-areola complex, absence of lactation function and retraction of nipple-areola complex with upward displacement. Recent anatomical study about the sensation and blood perfusion to breast let us can be enable to do a new procedure named by central pedicled flap in performing reduction mammoplasty. The study revealed many knowledges that perforating vascular branches from the pectoralis major muscle and its fascia instead of the subdermal plexus supplies the nipple-areola complex mainly and the distribution of sensory nerve is similar with the vasculature. So we have applied the central pedicled flap method in reduction mammoplasty as a safe method in 7 patients of recent years and we have had the excellent results such as adequate vasculature of the flap, preservation of sensation, no displacement and adequate natural breast. And we have used the short submammaty scar technique to reduce the transverse scar of inverted T-shade scar, so we have had the minimal postoperative scar. And our follow-up study revealed no retraction of nipple-areola complex and no displacement. So we concluded that the reduction mammoplasty using the central pedicled flap technique would be an excellent procedure minimizing the problems of conventional techniques.

The correction of cleft palate is the basic procedure of plastic surgery, but the result of the procedure has many problems such as underdevelopment of maxilla, inactive function of the cleft muscles, insufficient length of anteroposterior diameter of palate and so velopharyngeal incompetence. Recently, we have applied a relatively new technique named Furlow's double opposing Z-plasty for correction of various type of cleft palate. This procedure have many advantages than previous other techniques, including such as sufficient lengthening of soft palate, more anatomical reorientation of cleft muscles and minimized scar on hard palate. Although this procedure also might have limitation to satisfy all conditions, authors have concluded that the procedure must be a better one than previous many other modalities because of good normal speech and pronunciation, and we also expect the final result of minimal growth retardation of midfacial bone.

도서형 전박 피판을 이용한 개방된 주관절의 피복 : A REPORT OF 3 CASES

The management of soft tissue defect of the elbow is a difficult problem. Open elbow joint can inevitably result in leakage of synovial fluid and subsequent joint infection. Soft tissue defect in this area can cause a severe functional disability due to continuous destruction of supporting structures of the joint, and can cause healing of dislocation and fracture of the joint more difficult. Therefore, an immediate and adequate coverage of the joint and early exercise of the joint is very important for preservation of good function. Recently we have successfully managed three patients of open elbow joint due to trauma and pressure sore with proximally-based radial forearm island flaps, so we have found that this procedure is very useful for the reconstruction of open elbow joint.

The incidence of malignancy arising in the salivary gland is relatively low and rare cases of involvement of the overlying skin have been reported. These cases represent advanced cases radiotherapy. Therefore, adequate flap coverage rich in blood supply, and thus which ensures duribility to postoperative radiotherapy, as well as aesthetically acceptable appearance, is preferable in the reconstruction of the resultant soft tissue defect. We have experienced 3 cases of salivary gland malignancies involving the overlying skin and obtained satisfactory results after reconstruction using pectoralis major myocutaneous flap and forearm free flap.
