        치위생 전공 학생들의 현장실습기관 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the influencing factors on satisfaction of clinical practice field in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 273 dental hygiene students in Gyeongnam from September 7 to 25, 2015 after receiving informed consent. Except incomplete answers, 269 data were analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, awareness of clinical practice field satisfaction, awareness of clinical practice contents, clinical practice training, awareness of clinical practice field, future plan and behavioral change. The questionnaire was measured by Likert 5 point scale. Results: In clinical practice training, the satisfied group showed a significantly higher score than the unsatisfied group(p<0.001). In future plan and behavior change, the satisfied group showed a significantly higher score than the unsatisfied group(p<0.001). The influencing factors on clinical practice field included awareness of clinical practice field(p<0.001), awareness of clinical practice contents(p<0.001), clinical practice training(p<0.001), and future plan and behavior changes(p<0.01). Conclusions: The influencing factors on satisfaction of clinical practice field included awareness of clinical practice contents and clinical practice training, and future plan and behavioral change. It is important to develop the program for the effective clinical practice to enhance future pland behavioral change for the dental hygiene students.

        경남 일부지역 치과의원 내원 환자들의 치과 의료서비스 질만족도와 재이용 의사에 미치는 영향 요인

        This study was conducted to provide with baseline data with the purpose of increasing the values of medical services. Self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted on 236 patients at a dental clinic follow-up visit in dentist clinic Gyeongnam area from June 2013 to August 2013. All statistical analyses were performed using SPSS. The motivation visiting the dental clinic is that the first one is introduction from the family and friends, the second is accessibility, the third is conspicuity and the last one is awareness of the dentist. The main variables in the process of treatment are service system, kindness, satisfaction of service, efficient of re-call system. The relief of discomfort at revisit show the highest score in the process of implant treatment and intention of revisit hereafter do in the prostheses process. In the correlation between main variables, service system and relief of discomfort at revisit (r=0.440, p<0.001), kindness and satisfaction of medical service (r=0.675, p<0.001), revisit hereafter and satisfaction of service (r=0.387, p<0.001) and efficiency of re-call system and revisit showed the highest correlation. The influence on satisfaction of dental service show meaningful level in kindness (p<0.001) and efficiency of re-call system (p<0.05). The intention of revisit is affected meaningfully by relief of uncomfort (p<0.05), service system (p<0.05), kindness (p<0.01) and efficiency of re-call system (p<0.01). In summary, the personal network of patients is most important variable at intention for revisit of dental clinic. As satisfaction of kindness and efficiency of re-call system is higher, satisfaction of medical service and intention for revisit are shown higher. Therefore further research for improvement of satisfaction for medical service and of intention of revisit at the dental clinic should be carried out.

        보육교사의 구강건강, 구강건강영향지수 및 전신건강지수의 관련성

        본 연구는 2011년 7월 23일부터 2011년 7월 26일까지 부산에 근무하고 있는 보육교사 205명을 대상으로 구강건강, 구강건강영향지수와 전신건강지수 관련성을 알아보고자 설문지를 자기기입식으로 작성하도록 하였으며 다 음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 구강보건지식은 구강보건실천에 대하여 γ=.155, t=2.539로 유의한 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 식생활행태에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 구강보건실천정도는 구강건강영향지수에 β=-.001, t=-.008로 영향을 미치지 않았고, 식생활행태는 구강건강영향지수에 β=.172, t=2.560으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었 다. 구강건강영향지수는 전신건강지수에 β=.582, t=10.275로 유의하게 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이상의 결과 보육교사들의 구강건강, 구강건강영향지수와 전신건강지수의 관련성을 분석하여 구강건강증진을 위한 프로그램 개발에 힘을 써 구강병을 예방하고, 보육교사들뿐만 아니라 영유아의 건강과 구강건강을 증진시키고, 나아가 구강건강영향지수를 향상 시킬 것이다. The purpose of the study is to investigate the factors affecting the quality life of oral health according to the knowledge and behavior related with oral health and childcare teachers. Total 205 childcare teacher who working in Busan participated in this survey. The knowledge on oral health has an effects on oral health practice with γ=.155 and t=2.539 but this doesn't show meaningful effects on dietary pattern. Oral health is not affected by oral health practice with β=-.001, t=-.008 but dietary patterm has an effects on oral health impact profile with β=.172, t=2.560. Oral health impact profile show meaningful effects on total health index with β=.582, t=10.275. The results show that the oral health program for childcare teacher should be developed to prevent oral disease and oral health impact profile should be improved for not only childcare teachers but also children.

        치위생(학)과 학생들의 현장실습 전·후에 대한 만족 정도와 실습 후 진로의사 및 행동과의 관계

        Objectives: This study was conducted to promote the value of field practice courses by installing an efficient field practice program through understanding the relationship between career decision/ behavior and the pre-/post satisfaction of dental hygiene students in field practice. Methods: The subjects of the study were students in Gyeongnam and Busan majoring in dental hygiene, from which 218 questionnaires were obtained from 23 November 2015 to 30 July 2016. Results: In terms of career decision/ behavior, the post-satisfaction scores in ideas about their major, about whether it was helpful to selecting their speciality and positive impression of dental hygienists, interest and understanding in training course were significantly lower than the pre-satisfaction scores (p<0.05). Relationship between satisfaction in field training and career decision/ behavior following the field training, pre-/post-satisfaction on site-training content (r=0.371, p<0.01), pre-/post satisfaction in training instructions (r=0.267, p<0.01), and pre-/post-satisfaction in the training sites (r=0.436, p<0.01) were all proportionally correlated to the after-training career decision and behavior. Conclusions: It is necessary for training instructors to maintain close relationships with the students in field practice program courses. In advance, it is expected to promote students` satisfaction in field practice and serve as a starting point where students can build self-esteem as a future dental hygienist by positively influencing their career decisions and behaviors.

        일부 초등학교 양치교실 운영 효과 평가

        This research was conducted in order to examine the effect of tooth brushing room M elementary school in Changwon-city and to provide foundation data for effective project operation afterwards. The subjects were 347 students at the M elementary school where the tooth brushing room was being taught. The control group is 289 students at J elementary school where the tooth brushing room was not being taught. Research and analysis were carried out with structured survey and examination of decayed, missing, filled teeth (DMFT) index, decayed, missing, filled tooth surface (DMFS) index and O`leary index. The data was analysed by IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 19.0 program and the result is as follows: Depends on the tooth brushing room there was difference in statistical significance in filling teeth, sealant tooth surface, filling tooth surface, missing tooth surface, DMFS, O`leary index between the subject and control group. The less the frequency of brushing, the higher the DMFT index. Negative correlation was statistically significant. With incorrect brushing method, the less the frequency, the higher the DMFS index, Negative correlation was statistically significant. When the tooth brushing room was being implemented, O`leary index became low, negative correlation was statistically significant. As a result, in order to continue the effective operation of tooth brushing room, constant supervision and monitoring on students should be acutely needed by a principal, a school nurse and teachers in charge. Also together with a systemized cooperation between a health center and a nearby university``s related majors departments, the research proposes to execute constant oral health education and to expand the implementation project of the tooth brushing room at nearby elementary schools.

        경남지역 일부 치과위생사의 보수교육 인식 및 만족도 연구

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the recognition of and satisfaction with continuing education in dental hygienists to improve the quality of the education program. Methods: A survey was conducted on 384 participants in continuing education during the first half of the 2018 Korean Dental Hygienist Association Gyeongsangnam-do Conference. The collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 12.0. The characteristics of the service agency by working institutions and the main work by experience were analyzed with the chi-square test. Satisfaction with continuing education according to general characteristics was post-tested using Duncan s multiple comparison after a t-test and ANOVA. The significance level was 0.05. Results: In terms of continuing education, clinical work (latest technology) showed the highest distribution in terms of desired education. The highest scoring reason for attending continuing education was legal certification. The highest scoring reason for not attending was economic burden. On-line education was preferred over off-line education. A significant difference was observed in overall education, educational environment, contents, and methods among dental hygienists with degrees higher than a master s degree, and the work experience satisfaction level was higher in subjects with more than 16 years of education (p<0.01, p<0.001). Conclusions: In order to raise the recognition of the value of continuing education for dental hygienists and to improve the working environment, a plan for future development and operation of a continuing education program should be prepared.

        치과위생사와 환자의 치석제거에 대한 인식과 구강보건교육에 대한 융합적 차이 분석

        This study was conducted to narrow the view on this by analyzing the difference between dental hygienists and patients' cognition and oral health education of scaling. The study was total 202 people were finally analyzed. The method of analysis compared the cognition of scaling and oral health education, and a hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to check the effect of cognition and oral health education on dental selection by stages. As a result, there were significant differences in all but one of the nine items of cognition for scaling (p<0.01) and significant differences appeared in all but seven of the 19 categories of oral health education for scaling (p<0.01). Therefore, dental hygienists will have to seek ways to reduce these differences and continue to study how to explain them in scaling so that they can have a positive impact on patients' dental clinic choices. 본 연구는 치과위생사와 환자의 치석제거에 대한 인식과 구강보건교육의 차이를 분석하여 이에 대한 견해를 좁히기 위해 실시되었다. 본 연구에는 총 202명을 대상으로 최종 분석하였다. 분석방법으로 치석제거에 대한 인식과 구강보건교육을 비교하였고, 치석제거 인식과 구강보건교육이 치석제거로 인한 치과선택에 미치는 영향을 단계별로 확인하기 위해 다중회귀분석을 시행하였다. 그 결과 치석제거에 대한 인식 9개 항목 중 1개의 항목을 제외한 모든 항목에서 유의한 차이가 나타났고(p<0.01), 치석제거에 대한 구강보건교육 19개의 항목 중 7개의 항목을 제외하고 모든 항목에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<0.01). 따라서 치과위생사는 이러한 차이점을 줄일 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 할 것이며, 환자의 치과선택에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있도록 치석제거 시 설명하는 방법에 대한 지속적인 연구를 해야 할 것이다.
