Hydrogenated amorphous carbon(a-C:H) films were fabricated by the low-frequency (60Hz) glow discharge of the mixture of methane and hydrogen, and their electrical properties were investigated. We observed that a-C:H films show the persistent photoconductivity(PPC) by illumination of heat-filtered white light for a few seconds. The PPC was about 10 times larger than the annealed dark conductivity. The samples clearly showed metastable characteristics. With increasing illumination times from 1 to 100 min, the annealing activation energy of the PPC was about 0.39eV. The annealing temperature at which the PPC disappeared increasing from 100℃ to 130℃. Illumination longer than 80 min leads to the formation of n defects and to the decrease of PPC. From these results, we tentatively propose that the states in the π band act as deep trap centers, generating the metastabilities.

국내 개발에 성공한 기본훈련기(KTX-1) 시제기 및 외부연료탱크를 활용하여 유도무기에 적용되는 핵심 부품의 비행환경 성능을 검증할 수 있는 탑재비행시험(Captive Flight Test) 절차 및 결과를 소개한다. 2001년부터 2006년까지 총 150 쏘티 이상의 탑재비행시험을 통하여 국내 개발된 탐색기, 항법장치/기법, 관성센서, 전파고도계 등을 비행환경에서 시험ㆍ평가하여 유도무기체계 연구개발 단계에서 일정단축 및 비용절감에 기여하였다. The process and results of Captive Flight Test(CFT), conducted by Agency for Defense Development(ADD) using the Korean KTX-1 trainer and external fuel tank, are presented. Through over 150 sorties of CFT, the guided weapon system's critical subsystems like Seeker, Navigation Device and Technology, Inertial Sensor, and Radio Altimeter are tested and evaluated. Using the CFT, time and cost are saved in weapon system research and development procedure.

The guidance controller of the conventional aircraft consists of inner-loop (autopilot) and outer-loop (guidance). If the guidance controller can be designed as an integrated guidance and control (IGC), the various advantages exist. The integrated guidance and control formulation can compensate for the effect of autopilot lag. An integrated approach also helps avoid the iterative procedure involved in tuning the guidance and autopilot subsystems, if designed separately. Integrated design is also less susceptible to saturation and stability problems. This paper presents an approach to IGC design for the unpowered air vehicle with the only flaperon using a combination of adaptive output feedback inversion and backstepping techniques. Adaptive neural networks are trained online with available measurements to compensate for unmodeled nonlinearities in the design process.

본 논문에서는 공군에서 운용중인 전투기를 활용한 비행시험 수행 시 비행자료를 얻기 위한 외장형 계측시스템 개발에 대하여 서술하였다. 전투기의 외장형 계측시스템은 계측 포드와 영상 포드로 구성된다. 계측 포드는 GPS/AHRS 센서를 이용하여 전투기 비행자세, 속도 및 고도 등의 비행자료를 측정하며, 영상 포드는 2대의 고속카메라와 1대의 일반카메라를 사용하여 비행영상을 획득한다. 개발한 외장형 계측시스템은 환경시험과 지상시험, 그리고 전투기에 장착하여 비행시험을 수행함으로서 성능을 입증하였다. In this paper, we have described a development of the external instrumentation system of a fighter aircraft for flight test. The external instrumentation system consists of the instrumentation pod and the image pod. The instrumentation pod measures a flight data (attitude, velocity, altitude, etc) of the fighter aircraft by using GPS/AHRS sensor. The image pod takes high-speed images for the separation trajectory of a smart bomb with 2 high-speed cameras and video signal for it with one general camera. We have verified the performance of the external instrumentation system through the ground test, the environment test and the flight test.
무기체계의 항공기 탑재비행시험을 통한 개발시험 기법 연구

본 본문에서는 항공기 탑재비행시험을 통한 무기체계 개발시험에 대하여 기술하였다. 국방과학연구소에서는 항공기를 운용하며, 각종 항공/유도 무기체계의 핵심 탑재장비와 센서 개발을 위하여 항공기 탑재비행시험을 수행하고 있다. 탑재비행시험 플랫폼으로는 KTX-1/ XKO-1 항공기를 사용하며, 외부연료탱크 형상의 탑재시험체를 제작하여 시스템 연동을 위해 항공기를 수정하였다. 항공기 탑재비행시험을 통하여 각종 탐색기와 항법시스템 그리고 유도무기 핵심 탑재장비에 대한 개발시험을 수행하였다. In this paper, we have described an aircraft captive flight test for the development test of weapon systems. We have conducted a captive flight test for the development of core onboard parts and sensors of airborne weapons and guided missiles. We have used KTX-1/XKO-1 aircraft as a platform for the captive flight test. In order to perform a captive flight test, we have made a captive test pod as a shape of external fuel tank in the XKO-1 and have modified XKO-1 aircraft for a system interface. We have taken a development test about all kinds of seekers, navigation & guidance systems, and core part of guided missile through the aircraft captive flight test.
항공기를 이용한 텔레메트리 신호의 공중 중계시스템 개발

비행시험 시 텔레메트리 신호는 지리적 영향에 의해서 가시선 차단 문제가 발행한다. 일반적으로 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해서 고정형 중계시스템이나 이동형 중계시스템을 사용하지만 본 논문에서는 항공기를 이용한 텔레메트리 신호의 공중 중계시스템을 제안한다. 공중 중계시스템은 수신안테나를 장착한 항공기가 시험체의 텔레메트리 신호를 수신하여 지상시스템으로 재전송한다. 수신안테나는 위상배열안테나를 적용하여 Beam-forming에 의해 빔 방향을 ±30°까지 조향할 수 있으며, 빠르게 움직이는 시험체를 효과적으로 추적할 수 있다. 항공기에 장착되는 중계포드는 전방안테나와 측방안테나로 구성된다. 중계포드는 S-band 신호를 수신하여 L-band 신호로 주파수 하향 변환하여 재송신 시 항공기에서의 주파수 간섭을 제거하였다. A telemetry signal occurs the line-of-sight problem by the effect of geography in flight test. A fixed relay system or a mobile relay system is used to solve that problem in general but we propose an airborne telemetry relay system using aircraft in this paper. An airborne telemetry relay system receives the telemetry signal of the test vehicle and then retransmits it to the ground system. The receiving antenna which is a phased array antenna can be tilted to ±30° beam direction by beam-forming and track the rapidly moving test vehicle in effect. The relay pod which is mounted to an aircraft consists of the front antenna and the side antenna. It receives S-band signal and then down-converts the frequency to L-band signal. As a result, that can remove the frequency interference on an aircraft while retransmitting.

An advanced method of Relaxed Static Stability (RSS) is utilized for improving the aerodynamic performance of modern version supersonic jet fighter aircraft. The laws of flight control system utilize RSS criteria in both longitudinal and lateral-directional axes to achieve performance enhancements. Particularly, the design of longitudinal control laws for utilizing RSS methods greatly affects the performance of the aircraft in Air-to-Air Tracking and Air-to-Ground modes, which improves weapon delivery. In the area of Airto-Air Tracking, the development of longitudinal control laws aids in the fine tracking and gross acquisition of other aircraft. This paper proposes that Air-to-Air fine tracking can be improved via RSS control law design methods without effecting Air-to-Air gross acquisition.

The spherical aberration was investigated with the different surface curvatures of meniscus lens. An incident ray with variable height from the optical axis shows different values of spherical aberration. Therefore, our results reveal the dependence of aberrations on surface curvatures and concluded that the aberration can be reduced by adjusting lens shapes.
