This article is to develop test product as adopting motifs from Andong Hahoe Village registered in the UNESCO World Heritage. This study associates physiographic features and images of Hahoe Village with test product. In the research result of this study, the value of product and possibility of success of test product was found as follows. Firstly, Making the puzzle-oriented Desk Service Hahoe Village views by using 22 different styles & functional artworks. Secondly, Producing the tangible forms such as a tree, thatched cottage, arbor, tile-roofed house and ferryboat by casting technique. Thirdly, Designing the shape of the terrain by utilizing computer programing softwares such as CAD drawings and ARTCAM. Finally, Developing the mass-produce goods reflecting region historical and cultural characteristics. I expect this study may increase of interest of our country"s culture and play several roles of the bridgehead for product development. Also I reconsider sensitivity recovery of users and our cultural value increase.

산업제품 설계자의 안전의식 요인과 가구디자인 조형 및 제품가치의 상관관계분석

As the economy of the furniture market grows, there are few deaths among children. Thus, awareness for eliminating the risk of design products is improved, and ergonomic aspects are required in design. In particular, product safety is the most important factor in the initial design process because it is difficult to correct and supplement in the production process. According to the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, the higher the safety consciousness, the higher the safety because it can predict and prevent accidents. The safety of the product is inseparable from the practice of ergonomics in terms of safety consciousness of the designer. In this study, we surveyed the designers of industrial product design in Korea and measured the safety consciousness scale. The research hypotheses were set up to clarify the relationship between design influence and safety consciousness on product design. In order to verify the research hypothesis, the correlation between the safety consciousness of the industrial product designer and the office furniture design was analyzed. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, the safety factors related to the mutual relationship were searched and the improvement directions according to the consumer ’s connection with the design were suggested. And it can be used as a utilization data of design safety design by suggesting a complementary point of mutual consciousness.

국내산 소나무 슬라이스 기법을 통한 조명디자인 개발연구

This study aims to find new solutions to the problem of utilization of materials and techniques represented in the development of modern lighting design. LED is an important component in modern lighting design and pine tree is one of the most popular domestic wood in furniture design in Korea. In this study, design is developed into various types of furniture such as a table, a chest, and a lighting, by researching manufacturing process and examining the use of slicing pine tree. The technique of slicing pine tree is a simple linear arrangement that was traditionally used in wooden furniture in Lee dynasty, with an emphasis on repetitive rhythm. The slicing technology is used to expand the usage of domestic pine tree. The beauty of natural wood is expressed with the transmission of light by applying this technique to the lighting design. It also brings new communication in between artificial lighting and natural wood combining this traditional technique and LED lighting in design. Finally, this study suggests particular value through the convergence of analog and digital by using the traditional wooden technique that keeps natural wood prints and new digital technology by using LED lighting. More discussions and research about this subject are expected continuously through this study.

풍수와 실내⋅가구 코디네이션

Geomancy accepts with a pre-requisite that human beings adapt themselves to nature as an organism, because people and environment, bodies and space have the homogeneity which can not be divided by a dichotomy. The homogeneity as a structure alive implies a deep relationship with biorhythm and the change of space, and is regarded as a concept and role significant on the coordination. In other words, applying the element in the geomancy could be interpreted as a work giving a new meaning and spirit on a creation of space and furniture coordination. Harmony and balance shown in design concepts have a relationship with the meaning on Yin-Yang and the Five Elements theory. In addition, the characteristic in each element is suggested as an example applying the concept of geomancy through furniture coordination for each space in the chapter 4.

조선시대 가구 주문자와 생산자의 상호관계성

This study is a review on the relationship between furniture purchasers and producers in the Joseon period. Understanding the relationships in our traditional spirit and the Joseon furniture that reflects a aesthetic sense is a meaningful work. Joseon was to build an ideal country which put emphasis on the order and harmony through Theory of ‘Yeak’ as the confucianism nation. Human aesthetics, which emphasis on the spiritual value by confirmity to nature and forcus on the relaxed, deficient personality rather than completeness was established as the central formative consciousness of the Joseon Dynasty. The nature of things in the confucian scholar prior to the representations of things is expressed in the form of master craftsman’s skill and soul. Formative consciousness of the confucian scholar is to realize ideals by communciation and interchange with master craftsman’s soul in the form of the Joseon furniture. The beauty of restraint and brevity in the Joseon Dynasty furniture includes meanings and procedures of art work. It implies an orderer’s purpose of production and a producer’s products. Understanding the spirit of times in the production becomes the cornerstone capable of getting closer to the furniture ultimate proper function. These problems have a very close relationship with the problems of modern people’s commnuication. We expect an even higher growth of the furniture by achieving more improved communication based on the consumer’s great insight and the producer’s passion.

21 Century is said the age of cultural industry. In this cultural Industry one of very important factors which guides this times is the exploitation of cultural goods, which is based on regional identity. Therefore, at this point of time when its weighty has been raised, the aim of this study is to fill the image Korean tradition and modernity culture in them, through the search on their characteristics among regions and nations, desk the cultural service goods which gets survival power of traditional and cultural identity. Nine existing Hahoe masks are changed into nine new cultural items, which are presented the nine dreams of Hahoe masks. As consumer's choice is diversified by a set of products, main concept in this study is the focus on modernity, rationality, traditionality and popularity. The main concept of this study is on rational functions and convenience, the harmony of tradition and modernity. As said above, in the process of manufacture the mass production of goods is stressed, and by getting the composition and making a set of goods, the choice of consumers will be extended. Getting ideal globalization by the coexistence of tradition and modernity on goods, is very important. Consequently, cultural goods must be recognized as a factor of its medium, and also, on domestic cultural goods people's interest must be risen all the more.

한약 치료로 개선된 혼합 치핵 환자에 관한 증례 보고

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the clinical course of a patient with mixed hemorrhoids treated with Korean medicine alone. Methods: A patient visited for an mixed hemorrhoids was treated with Korean herbal medicine. The effects of the treatment were evaluated via photography of hemorrhoids and symptoms of pain, bleeding, prolapse, itching, discharge and Total Symptom Score(TSS). Results: After treatment, in photography before and after, the size of hemorrhoids was reduced and lost. Scores of Pain (4→0), bleeding (3→0), prolapse (3→2), itching (0→0), discharge (1→0) and TSS (11.5->3) were observed. Conclusion: In light of the reduced size of hemorrhoids and scores of symptoms, herbal medicine might be a possible treatment method on mixed hemorrhoids.

경기만 연안지역의 염생식물 분포

N/A The halophytes were investigated on Gyeonggi Bay from Aug. 1999 to Oct. 2001. The survey was conducted at 38 areas including natural salt marshes, dunes, abandoned salt farms and bank areas. During this study 46 species of halophytes were collected in the areas. Among the halophytes the following 7 species were found at natural salt marshes only; Triglochin maritimum L, Carex scabrifolia Steud., Salicornia herbacea L., Suaeda australis(R. Br.) Moq., S. martima Dum., S. japonica Makino, S. malacosperma Hara, on the other hand 8 species at dunes only; Glehnia littoralis Fr. Schm., Cnidium japonicum Miq., Messerschmidia sibirica L., lxeris repens A. Gray, Corispermum stauntonii Miq., Vitex rotundifolia L. fil., Ischaemum anthephoroides Miq., Carex kobomugi Ohwi. The distributions of halophytes in each regions are as the followings : Isl. Gyodong-do 21 species, Isl. Seokmo-do 17 species, Isl. Ganghwa-do 28 species, Isl. Jangbond-do 16 species, Isl. Sin & Si-do 16 species, Isl. Daemuui-do 23 species, Isl. Deokjeok-do 23 species, Isl, Ijak-do 10 species, Isl. Yeongheung-do 29 species, Sorea 25 species, Isl. Daebu-do 15 species, Ssangsong-ri 6 species, Hogok-ri 16 species, Maehyang-ri 10 species.

소경단목재(小輕短木材) 접목을 활용한 유니트 가변형 테이블디자인 연구개발

This is the study about the New Formation Developement, the Changeable Table Design with Units that made of Wasted Wood to use restricted material rationally and to improve the space efficiency in the Table Design. We made some changeable table design with units that made of laminated wood wasted. And we found out the following formative characteristic and physical merits through this study. First, the space efficiency can be improve technically through the unit combination and organic transfomation of the specific form and a new method by laminated wood make the personal originality and the structral stability be built up. Second, there are some merits, moveable convenience and variable layout by the combination or transformation or personal fondness so that economical efficiency and variable of design can be improved. Third, we can remove original faults inside wood like a knot or not-uniform of wood organ when we laminate wood so that we use proper units that have original beauty of wood and can represent mild mood of furniture wholly. Fourth, much more strengthen tensile strength by the reciprocal action among the units that be made of laminated wood reduces wood’s metamorphosis like bending or twisting so that the uniformity of wood can be gain and furniture’s metamorphosis can be reduced. According to changes of nature environment, the difficulty of supply and demand for wood may be happen. According to changes of life style these days, supply and demand for environment friendly material, processing technique and developement of design to improve the efficiency of using space must be very important factor in morden furniture design. So we propose changeable furniture design by using new environment friendly meterial and processing method from this study.

CMF와 조명기구의 관계 연구

Lighting is important for human social life and creative activities. Lighting allows you to see objects and space, and distinguishes the shape and color of objects. It provides people with emotional stability and brightens the environment of indoor space. However, consumers simply do not purchase products for the sake of the form of illumination. CMF is an element that sensibly connects the interface between the product and the person. The CMF and lighting fixture surveys were based on literature and academic journals. A survey was conducted on men and women in their 20s and 60s who used lighting. This study is about the relationship between CMF and lighting fixtures. The questionnaire investigates whether consumers consider CMF when purchasing products, and investigates important factors in the color, material, and finishing elements of CMF.
