Recently, the studio which is urban housing form is rapidly growing up by new residential space according to increasing 1~2 person households form because of Modern members who have changing patterns of life and diversification of social values. The resident of the studio who lives or uses the space for a work such as students, office worker and soho-jok has various characters by a society nature changes and a regional peculiarity. The studio form and function is getting change according to variety trend changes and their life styles. The role and use of residential space also have variety such as the resident who lives in the studio. This study is to find the space utilization for them and reasonable housing solution in that structure, furniture and Wall Storage System of existing studio which is based on the common life patterns. The study’s purpose is to propose the furniture design of changeable Wall Storage System according to the analysis.

소경단목재(小輕短木材) 접목을 활용한 유니트 가변형 테이블디자인 연구개발

This is the study about the New Formation Developement, the Changeable Table Design with Units that made of Wasted Wood to use restricted material rationally and to improve the space efficiency in the Table Design. We made some changeable table design with units that made of laminated wood wasted. And we found out the following formative characteristic and physical merits through this study. First, the space efficiency can be improve technically through the unit combination and organic transfomation of the specific form and a new method by laminated wood make the personal originality and the structral stability be built up. Second, there are some merits, moveable convenience and variable layout by the combination or transformation or personal fondness so that economical efficiency and variable of design can be improved. Third, we can remove original faults inside wood like a knot or not-uniform of wood organ when we laminate wood so that we use proper units that have original beauty of wood and can represent mild mood of furniture wholly. Fourth, much more strengthen tensile strength by the reciprocal action among the units that be made of laminated wood reduces wood’s metamorphosis like bending or twisting so that the uniformity of wood can be gain and furniture’s metamorphosis can be reduced. According to changes of nature environment, the difficulty of supply and demand for wood may be happen. According to changes of life style these days, supply and demand for environment friendly material, processing technique and developement of design to improve the efficiency of using space must be very important factor in morden furniture design. So we propose changeable furniture design by using new environment friendly meterial and processing method from this study.

조선시대 가구 주문자와 생산자의 상호관계성

This study is a review on the relationship between furniture purchasers and producers in the Joseon period. Understanding the relationships in our traditional spirit and the Joseon furniture that reflects a aesthetic sense is a meaningful work. Joseon was to build an ideal country which put emphasis on the order and harmony through Theory of ‘Yeak’ as the confucianism nation. Human aesthetics, which emphasis on the spiritual value by confirmity to nature and forcus on the relaxed, deficient personality rather than completeness was established as the central formative consciousness of the Joseon Dynasty. The nature of things in the confucian scholar prior to the representations of things is expressed in the form of master craftsman’s skill and soul. Formative consciousness of the confucian scholar is to realize ideals by communciation and interchange with master craftsman’s soul in the form of the Joseon furniture. The beauty of restraint and brevity in the Joseon Dynasty furniture includes meanings and procedures of art work. It implies an orderer’s purpose of production and a producer’s products. Understanding the spirit of times in the production becomes the cornerstone capable of getting closer to the furniture ultimate proper function. These problems have a very close relationship with the problems of modern people’s commnuication. We expect an even higher growth of the furniture by achieving more improved communication based on the consumer’s great insight and the producer’s passion.

노인데이케어센터의 가구디자인 사례 연구 - 국내 시군구 대표기관을 중심으로 -

급격한 고령화로 다양한 노인 문제가 발생함에 따라 가정에서 가능한 한 생활을 지속하게 하면서 보호와 간호 및 의료서비스, 각종 사회활동이 가능하게 해 주는 노인데이케어센터의 역할이 커져가는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 시도군 별 노인데이케어센터의 가구디자인 사례분석을 통하여 향후 노인데이케어센터 가구디자인의 발전에 도움이 되고자 한다. 본 연구는 노인 커뮤니티 시설과 주간 단기보호시설에 대한 문헌들을 바탕으로 선행 연구 자료들과 현황자료들을 고찰하고 이를 바탕으로 주간 단기보호시설을 포함한 노인데이케어센터의 가구디자인 사례를 분석하는 것을 중점으로 둔다. 먼저 이론적 배경으로 노인의 특성과 그에 따른 가구디자인의 특성을 알아보고, 노인데이케어센터의 관련문헌 및 자료를 통해 노인데이케어의 이론자료를 수집한다. 이를 바탕으로 국내 노인데이케어의 가구디자인 사례들을 수집 및 분석하며, 사례 대상의 선정기준은 2014년도 시군구별 평가결과 최우수(A등급)기관으로 선정된 6곳으로 한정 한다. 또한 노인데이케어센터의 가구디자인 사례를 분석함으로써 향후 노인데이케어센터의 기획 초기에 고려해야할 노인 특화 가구디자인의 요소를 제안한다. 본 연구 결론을 노인데이케어센터에 요구되는 가구디자인 요소별로 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기능면에서 준인체계 기능에 비해 인체계와 건축계 기능의 가구가 미흡하여 설계 초기부터의 기획이 요구된다. 둘째, 구조면에서 이동식가구의 특화디자인은 확산되고 있는 추세이나 모듈형이나 조립식 가구는 많이 적용되지 않는 실정이다. 셋째, 형태요소에서 현재는 다리류 가구에서만 노인의 특성을 고려한 디자인이 나타나고 있어 수납 및 선반류인 상자류 가구에 관한 연구와 적용이 진행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. 넷째, 재료는 주로 목재나 패브릭이 많이 나타났는데, 향후 더 가볍고 관리가 용이한 소재의 개발 및 적용이 필요다고 생각된다. 현재 국내의 노인데이케어센터의 가구디자인은 점진적으로 발전하고 있는 추세이나 선진 기술에 비해 아직은 미흡한 면이 다수 나타난다. 노인데이케어센터의 가구디자인은 노인의 특성을 고려한 특화된 디자인이 요구되며, 기획 초기단계에서부터 고려되어야할 부분이라 사료된다. 본 연구를 통하여 노인데이케어센터의 발전과 더불어 노인데이케어센터 가구디자인의 발전에 도움이 되고자 하며, 나아가 노인 복지의 질을 향상 시킬 수 있는 밑거름이 되고자 한다. The role of adult day care is becoming larger due to rapidly aging society and the fact that elderly day care centers provide protection and various medical services while allowing various social activities. Hence, this study has analyzed various furniture designs of elderly day care centers throughout the country in order to aid development of furniture design for elderly day care centers. This study is based on existing research materials on adult community facilities and short terms protection facilities. Based on these materials, this study is centered on analyzing cases of furniture design in elderly day care centers including weekday short term protection facilities. First, characteristics of the elderly and corresponding characteristics of furniture design from theoretical background are identified and theoretical material on adult day care are collected through literature and materials on adult day care. With these material as basis, domestic adult day care furniture design cases are collected and analyzed. The criteria for these cases are limited to 6 facilities where A class grade was awarded in 2014. Also, by analyzing elderly day care centers' furniture designs, future elderly day care centers' furniture design elements are identified and proposed. The conclusion of this study can be summarized by categorizing furniture design elements necessary in elderly day care center. First, from functional perspective, body supporting and construction supporting furniture function was lacking compared to semi-body supporting function which require planning from initial design stage. Second, structurally specialized design for movable furniture was spreading but module type and assembly type was limited. Third, in terms of shape element, currently, only leg type furniture have shown consideration to elderly design wise. Therefore, research and implementations on box-type furniture which are storage and shelf furniture need to be performed. Fourth, in terms of materials, there were a lot of woods and fabric. However, since management of wood furniture is difficult and moving the furniture is more of a challenge to many elderly, development of new materials was found to be necessary. Currently, although domestic elderly day care center furniture is improving, there still is a technological gap compared to leading nations. elderly day care center furniture design demands specialized design with consideration to characteristics of elderly. this must be taken account from the planning stage. I hope that through this study, the development of elderly day care center and day care furniture designs is aided and furthermore hope it will aid elderly welfare itself.

감성에 소구(訴求)하는 가구조형의 패턴 연구

Modern furniture design is advancing by putting value on individual sensitivity. Accordingly, this study will focus on optical art, which can give various changes in people’s sensitivity. Optical art was actively applied in various fields of image, photograph, fashion, textile, accessory and interior from the 1950s till the 1960s. Optical art realized by Victor Vasarely (1908~) opened a new trend in art by accurately realizing concise and precise expressions. This study analyzed the impact of pattern expression on sensitivity in optical art and suggested a method, which can spatiotemporally maximize the emotional change by combining optical art with the form of furniture. Modern furniture design is changing toward the direction of fitting to the propensity and emotional taste of an individual. Accordingly, this study analyzed the emotional expression felt in the furniture modeling works featured by concise, straight and standardized rectangular shape. Based on the result of analysis, this study would like to suggest a method to utilize optical pattern as a means for emotional design, with which people are able to perform various emotional expressions while keeping the function and form of furniture.

노인시설 실내공간프로그램구성에 관한 연구

세계에서 유래없이 노령화 속도가 빠르다. 이에 따른 노인 복지서비스의 급격한 변화가 일어나고 있다. 데이케어센터가 우리나라의 전통적인 가족부양을 위한 가치관도 손상 시키지 않으면서 사회적인 부양이 함께 이루어지는 절충적인 형태이었기 때문이라고 연구자는 판단하였다. 이 시설은 국가정책의 하나로서 노인의 낮 동안 보호를 위한 데이케어센터의 확충과 질적 향상이 요구된다. 노인들의 보호시설이 아니라 가정에서 가능한 한 생활을 지속하게 하면서 보호와 간호 및 의료서비스, 각종 사회활동이 가능하도록 하는 데이케어센터의 공간구성에 연구의 초점을 둔다. 연구의 방법과 범위는 데이케어센터의 관련 문헌조사 분석을 통하여 이론고찰 하였으며, 서울시에 위치한 데이케어센터6곳을 현장 답사하여 데이케어센터의 현황과 공간구성등에 관하여 그 실태를 현장 조사하는 사례연구를 하였다. 이때 센터장과 사회복지사와의 인터뷰와 데이케어센터 공간에 대한 실측조사, 사진 촬영, 도면수집 등을 병행 하였으며, 그 결과는 노인의 인체치수와 함께노인을 편안함을 줄 수 있는 동작범위 등을 근거로 구체적 세부치수들을 추출해 내는 연구가 필요하며 이를 바탕으로 한 각 공간구성에 가구 및 수납공간 등 디자인구성요소 연구가 필요하다. The aging rate is faster in the world without a pedigree. The rapid changes taking place in the elderly welfare services accordingly. As daycare centers because of our traditional family forms also made a compromise with the social support without compromising values for the stimulus was a researcher judgment. The facility is the expansion and quality of day care centers for the protection of the elderly is required during the day as one of national policy. The protection of the elderly facilities as well as the duration of a life as possible in the home care and nursing and medical services, the spatial configuration of the daycare center to allow various social activities focused on research. Method and scope of the study was investigated through theoretical analysis of the research literature related day care center, day care center six cases where site visits to investigate the situation with respect to onsite and space configuration and status of the day care center, located in Seoul, research was. At this time, the actual survey for the Center for an interview with a social worker and a daycare center space, photo shoot, which was parallel to the figures gathering. The result is a need to study to extract the specific details, such as dimensions, based on the range of motion that can give comfort to the elderly with the human dimension of the elderly, and design components such as furniture and storage space studies in each area based on this configuration, is required.

풍수와 실내⋅가구 코디네이션

Geomancy accepts with a pre-requisite that human beings adapt themselves to nature as an organism, because people and environment, bodies and space have the homogeneity which can not be divided by a dichotomy. The homogeneity as a structure alive implies a deep relationship with biorhythm and the change of space, and is regarded as a concept and role significant on the coordination. In other words, applying the element in the geomancy could be interpreted as a work giving a new meaning and spirit on a creation of space and furniture coordination. Harmony and balance shown in design concepts have a relationship with the meaning on Yin-Yang and the Five Elements theory. In addition, the characteristic in each element is suggested as an example applying the concept of geomancy through furniture coordination for each space in the chapter 4.

미니멀 아트와 현대 가구디자인의 연관성 연구

In this study I made an analysis on the background of creating of Minimal Art and thought of its artists during 1950~1960 and their works. Starting from the early Modernism that tried to depict the life of farmers and laborers in the chaos of war and viewing the art as the tools describing the life itself, minimal art took its root as furniture in ordinary life passing through the era of Surrealism and Dadaism. In 20th century, furniture designers were trying to seek new trend of modern furniture in the perspective of balance and immaculateness while excluding emotion and overall feeling through minimalism. These efforts result in the introduction of immaculateness and refinement in furniture design. Hence, this study is to represent a new trend of furniture design utilizing the margin of furniture in complex lives through formative characteristics that minimal art beholds.

실내 사무 공간 가구디자인 경향에 관한 연구

The results of this study and the design tends to obscure the distinction between two different aspects of the design appear rarely common or different forms of expression are characterized by two. This furniture range has expanded to use metal and metal to minimize the negative aspects of a conventional flexible image is designed to suit the tastes of modern design and metal furniture design, interior space, except that now it is considered that the most can be identified.

구조적 균형감의 변화에 의한 인테리어조명 디자인 개발

Beauty of balance, can be found in antique furniture of the Joseon Dynasty. Balance, give comfort and peace of mind to people. Even today, the balance in various fields, it is easily viewed, and an important one element indispensable in the design. Various lighting is an essential element of the interior to create an atmosphere of space. It is also useful in a variety of ways for beauty, emotional effect, such as the switching of visual atmosphere. This design was designed with the concept of balanced. In addition, I have applied a simple graphic appearance. To give the fun and tension while giving it a well-balanced when you meet the figure. The design of this study is nothing more than a single direction. It will be in the traveling direction of the future as a designer by using a simple structure and phenomena that appear in life, is given to the design without the feeling of rejection to the user.
