외국인 근로자 환자의 성형외과 영역에 대한 분석

Purpose: According to the data presented by ministry of justice, a number of foreign workers in Korea is approximately 700 thousands and among them 22 thousands are illegal workers. We would like to provide the basic information the foreign workers by analyzing clinical contents. Methods: 1456 patients who visited the hospital were reviewed by nationality, medical department, gender and age. 62 patients have visited plastic surgery department and they were additionally reviewed by diagnosis, chief complant and operation. Results: Mongolians were 388 cases (26.7%), followed by Chineses with 452 cases (31.1%). General surgery had 264 visits (18.1%) followed by internal medicine with 388 visits (26.6%). In gender grouping, 781 patients were males and 675 patients were females. Hand, face and extremity injuries were common in plastic surgery field but many foreign worker patients also wanted to take aesthetic surgery such as scar revision, blepharoplasty and augmentation rhinoplasty. Conclusion: It has been twenty years since foreign workers have come to the Korean society. In the past foreign workers were mostly neglected. However with the vast improvement in labor and welfare related services, demands for plastic surgery, especially aesthetic surgery are increasing among foreign workers. Therefore plastic surgeons' continuous interest in foreign workers is required.

G. Cantor gave a deep influence to the society of mathematics in many ways, especially in the set theory. It is important for gifted and talented high school students in mathematics to understand the Euler constant and the fractal dimension of the Cantor set in a heuristic sense. On the historic basis of mathematics and the standard of high school students, we give the teaching method for the talented high school student to understand them better. Further we introduce the Riesz-N$\acute{a}$gy-Tak$\acute{a}$cs distribution and its first moment. We hope that from these topics, the gifted and talented students in mathematics will have insight in the analysis of mathematics.

자살시도로 인한 손목 열상 후 유착에 의해 발생한 수근부 정중신경포착증후군 치험례

Purpose: Median nerve entrapment syndrome within carpal tunnel is usually called carpal tunnel syndrome and it is the most common form of peripheral nerve entrapment syndrome. Many factors such as diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, hormonal replacement theraphy, corticosteroid use, rhematoid arthritis and wrist fractures may cause carpal tunnel syndrome. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case report of median nerve entrapment syndrome due to adhesion of laceration wound after suicidal attempt. Methods: A 28-year-old woman presented with a sensory change and thenar hypotrophy on her left hand. On her history, she attempted suicide by slashing her wrist. Initial electromyography (EMG) showed that the nerve conduction velocities of median nerve was delayed. Therefore, we performed surgical procedures. When exploration, Fibrous scar tissue observed around the median nerve but nerve had not been injured. Transcarpal ligament was completely released and adjacent fibrous tissue was removed to decompress the median nerve. Results: The postoperative course was uneventful until the first year. Opposition difficulty and thenar hypotrophy were improved progressively after the surgery. Sensory abnormality was slowly improved over one year. Conclusion: We report a case of median nerve entrapment syndrome that was caused by adhesion of laceration wound after suicidal attempt. This is an unusual cause of median nerve entrapment syndrome, the symptoms were relieved after transcarpal ligament release and fibrous scar tissue removal.

This article examines the evolution of SPC since 1945, and analyze the historical process from the perspectives of Chandler s organizational capability model. Particular emphasis is placed on the investment issues of production, marketing, and its relation to the management system. In doing so, three main periods are divided. In start-up period, discussion focuses on the roll of Mr. Hur Changsung in Samlip during the 1940~1960s and reveals why, in spite of small economy of scale, Samlip could begin to start bakery business successfully. Three reasons are given for this; the invention of oven using briquet as the predominant technical advantage to other followers, the direct sales activity diffusing good brand image, and the management capability replenished by family. These characteristics in start-up period serve to underpin the second theme, namely the growth of Shany from the early 1970s to the early 1980s during the emergence of bakery mass market. In spite of the competition from other bakery business, Shany exhibited significant production and sales growth through the establishment of marketing division and R&D center launched by Mr. Hur Youngin. The third period is related to the rapid growth of new business, window bakery, premium ice cream, and doughnuts since the 1980s. This part examines why, despite of being disadvantageous position in terms of second mover to window bakery business and unfavorable brand image of Dunkin, Paris Croissant and BR Korea started to diversify and develop new business at the same time. The year 1986 is identified as a watershed year in that it was around then that customers in bakery market began to prefer freshness and SPC began to introduce franchise system to adapt itself to changing customer s needs.

감은사지 태극 장대석의 수리천문학적 의미(感恩寺址 太極 長臺石의 數理天文學的 意味)

감은사는 첨성대가 긴축되고 46년 후 서력 682년에 세워진 신라시대 사찰로 현재는 금당터와 석탑 및 각종 석조 유물로 전해지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 1959년 1차 발굴 때 감은사지 금당터의 동편에서 발견된 동편 태극 장대석과 2차 발굴 때 감은사지 남편 연못에서 발견되어 1993년 인위적으로 서편에 배치된 서편 태극 장대석에 대한 과학적 의미를 파악하기 위하여 유물에 각인된 도형의 기하학적 분석을 한다. 그리하여 감은사지 태극 장대석이 의미하는 수학적, 천문학적인 도형의 현대적 해석을 통하여 당시의 과학 수준을 가늠할 중요한 척도를 얻게 되었다. 또한 동편 및 서편 태극 장대석이 나타내는 이동변삼각형들의 배치가 각각 해와 달과 관련된 책력과 연관함을 추론하게 된다. 이러한 엄밀한 수학적 개념 조사를 통하여 역사적 사실이 빈약한 오래된 역사적 구조물을 이해하고 고증하는데 새로운 연구 뱡향을 제시해준다. Kameun temple was constructed in A.D. 682 after 46 year after Chumsungdae was constructed. This paper discusses the scientific implication of Taegeuk stone rods of Kameun temple site through the geometric analysis of their engraved figures. So we can estimate that the west Taegeuk of Kameun temple site has 2 circles comparing the path of the moon with that of the sun leading to the asymmetry in its emblem(Taegeuk) and the east Taegeuk of Kameun temple site has 1 circle representing the path of the sun. The Taegeuks along with around 30 equilateral triangles representing the north latitude 35.80° give the explicit information of period of the orbit of the moon and the sun. These mathematical methods can explain some relics structure of antiquity with a few historical expounds.
