        저선량 ${\gamma}$선 조사가 배추종자의 발아와 수량에 미치는 효과

        저선량 방사선에 의한 식물생육 촉진효과를 보고자 남방계 배추품종의 $1{\sim}5$년간 묵은 종자에 저선량 ${\gamma}$선을 $0.5{\sim}30.0Gy$까지 조사하여 온실과 포장에서 재배하여 그 생육상황을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 배추 묵은 종자의 발아율과 유묘초장은 저선량 조사에 의해 향상되었으나 그 효과는 저장기간에 따라 달랐다. 저장기간이 5년차, 4년차, 3년차인 종자에게는 각각 4.0Gy, 1.0Gy, 0.5Gy 조사에서 발아율과 유묘초장 증가효과가 인정되었고 1년차와 2년차 종자에서 발아율 촉진효과는 없었으나 유묘초장은 증가하였다. 포장재배한 배추의 초장, 생체중, 직경으로 본 수량은 모든 저장종자의 4.0Gy와 8.0Gy 조사구에서 증가효과가 있었고 1년차와 2년차 종자에서는 20.0Gy와 30.0Gy에서도 수량증가 효과가 있었다. To observe the stimulating effects of low-dose ${\gamma}-radiation$ on the Chinese cabbage, $1{\sim}5$ years old seeds were cultivated in the green house and the experimental field after irradiation of $0.5Gy{\sim}30.0Gy$ and the growth characters of them were investigated. The germination rates and the seedling heights of old seeds increased positively in the green house, but different from each other depending on their period of storage. Those of 3-, 4-, and 5-year old seeds increased remarkably at the 4.0Gy-, 1.0Gy-, and 0.5Gy-irradiation group respectively. However, in the case of 1-year and 2-year old seeds, there were not significant effects of irradiation except the increase of seedling height. There were significant increasing effects of radiation on the plant height, fresh weight, and diameter of all seeds grown in the experimental field of 4.0Gy- and 8.0Gy-irradiation group, including the corresponding effects of 1-year and 2-year old seeds in 20.0Gy- and 30.0Gy-irradiation group.

        저선량 감마선이 땅콩 생장에 미치는 효과

        Effect of low dose gamma radiation on the growth of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) were investigated with respect to germination rate, seedling development and yield. Seeds of “Palpal”cultivar were irradiated with 0.5∼20 Gy of γradiation in order to determine the hormetic effect of low dose radiation. The germination rate of γ-ray irradiation group was lower than that of the control but the seedling height of groundnut grown from seeds irradiated with low dose γ-ray was slightly higher than that of the control. The number of pod and kernels, and the seed yield increased by 27%, 17% and 19%, respectively, in the 12.0 Gy irradiation group compared to that in the control group. The 100 seed weight was 87.2g in the 4.0 Gy irradiation group, which was 11% heavier than 78.3g in the control group. Low dose radiation showed an enhancement effects on the growth and yield components of groundnut. [radiation hormesis, gamma radiation, groundnut, germination rate, yield].

        묵은 배추종자의 발아와 생육에 미치는 저선량 γ 선 효과

        To investigate the stimulating effects of the low-dose radiation, the seeds of chinese cabbages(Brassica campestris L. cv. Hanyoreum and cv. Tropic emperor) were irradiated at the dose of 0.5㏉∼20㏉ with the γ-ray radition. In case of `Hanyoreum` cultivar, there were no significant promoting effects on the germination rate except the 0.5㏉ irradiated group. The increase in seedling height and fresh weight in 8㏉ and 12㏉ irradiated groups was 20% and 40%, respectively, which suggested the stimulating effect of the low-dose radiation on the early growth. In case of `Tropic emperor` cultivar, the germination rate of 1㏉ irradiated group increased approximately 10% and the seedling height and fresh weight of 1㏉ and 12㏉ irradiated group in the greenhouse 20% on the average, and plant height and fresh weight of 0.5㏉ and 4㏉ irradiated group in the field increased 10% and 20% on the average, respectively.

        관절염에 관한 국내 간호학 연구 논문 분석

        The purpose of this article was to identify trend in Arthritis research and to provide ba an approach of Arthritis research. The results of analysis of 69 Arthritis articles publi year of between 1970-1999 found that most articles(27.6%. n= 19) were published sin(few(10.1%, n=7) were before 1994. Vast majority of articles(79.8%, n =55) were printed in The Journal of Rheumatology Health, and 79.8%(n=55) of those were quantitative research, 8.7%(n=6) were qualitative research, and 1.4%(n= 1) was methodological research. 29.0%(n=20) of quantitative research were carried in experimental design and over half(50.8%, n=35) in nonexperimental design. Having concerned the types of treatment(or intervention) used in experimental study, the most common treatment was 'exercise' (45.0%, n=9), and other less common were 'self-help education(15.0%, n=3), home care(10,0%, n=2), supportive care(10,0%, n=2), flexibility exercise combined with local heat therapy(5.0%, n=1), relaxation training(5.0%, n=1). Of the types of exercise, aquatic exercise was 30.0%(n=6) The effect of exercise on outcome variable was found to be most strong among the other types of treatment. 18 articles of nonexperimental research were correlational research. From the analysis of correlational research. 29 concepts were identified, and the relationship between depression and other variable were strongly reported. In descriptive studies, most commonly Physiological variables were examined in 5 articles(29.5%). Only one study(5.9%) explored patient's perception of the causal factors and those causality. In qualitative researches, two study were carried out by the means of grounded theory. Majority of those subjects were RA patients, and the largest number of sample were 23 and the smallest was 1. In two studies, patient's perceived causality of RA was identified as a research problems. and an experience of ADL, fatigue phenomenon, an experience of having a total knee replacement with osteoarthritis were each found in one study. Methodological research was carried out to test validity and reliability of the RA Fatigue Scale.
