SPOT/VEGETATION NDVI 자료를 이용한 북한지역 식생 변화 탐지

본 연구에서는 원격탐사자료를 이용하여 현장관측이 불가능한 북한 지역에 대한 NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) 산출을 통하여 1999년부터 2005년까지 7년간의 지표 상태 모니터링 하였다. 북한의 산림 지역은 소위 한반도의 폐라고 불리며, 한반도 내에서 가장 풍부한 산림지역이 위치하고 있다. NDVI는 식생의 활력 지수를 나타내며, 유사한 많은 연구에서 사용되었다. 본 연구에서는 북한 지역 식생의 변화를 탐지하고 그 원인을 분석하였다. NDVI의 변동은 북한 지역에서 가뭄이나 태풍의 영향을 잘 반영하고 있으며, 북한 지역이 태풍이나 가뭄을 겪고 있을 때 평년보다 낮은 NDVI 수치가 나타났다. 특히, 최근 정치적, 경제적으로 큰 이슈가 되고 있는 북한 지역식량 생산 정보이 간접적인 파악을 위해 본 연구에서 분석한 결과를 토대로 식량 생산 동향을 유추하였다. In this study, we perform land surface monitoring of NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) variation by using remote sensing data during 1999-2005 over North Korea, which can`t easily access to measure directly land surface characteristics due to one of the world`s most closed societies. North Korea forest region has most abundant forest vegetation-so called Lungs of Korea in the Korea peninsula. NDVI represents vegetation activity used in many similar studies. In this study, we detect vegetation variation and analysis factors of the change over North Korea. By using variation of NDVI, we can infer that effect of drought over North Korea, and reduced vegetation indices by typhoon in North Korea. Land surface type except barren ground with decreased NDVI value is considered as when North Korea region was suffering from drought and typhoon effects, which show lower than mean of 7-year NDVI value. Especially, in recently, the food production of North Korea with political and economical issues can be inferred indirectly these trends by using estimated output data from this study.
단발성 트레드밀 운동이 NF-κB 및 사이토카인 유전자 발현에 미치는 영향에 있어 MyD88의 역할

The purpose of the present study was investigate the role of MyD88 on the expression level of NF-κB and cytokines in hindlimb muscles of female mice with a single bout of acute exercise. Eight balb/c(wild type) female mice was randomly assigned to experimental group or control group. And eight MyD88 knockout female mice was also randomly assigned to experimental group or control group. The exercise protocol consists of a single bout of high-intensity treadmill exercise. (inclination 10˚, speed 17cm/sec 10min, 33cm/sec 10min, 50cm/sec). Mice was killed 1-2 hours after the exhaustion protocol. The level of mRNA expression in RelB, adjusting a role of MyD88 on plantaris muscle in MyD88 KO mice with a single bout of aerobic exercise, was significantly increased, but it is also unable to detect any changes in soleus muscle. Additionally, the level of expressions of TNF-α mRNA was significantly suppressed in WT soleus muscle compared with control. It also reveals that there is a significant difference in TNF-α mRNA basal level between WT control and MyD88 KO control. However there is no significant effect of a single bout of treadmill exercise on the expression level of NF-κB subunit, P50, P52, P65, RelB mRNA in both soleus and plantaris muscle, except RelB in MyD88 KO mice. And there is no significant change of a single bout of treadmill exercise on the expression level of IL-6 in both soleus and plantaris. In conclusion, NF-κB and cytokines gene expression are differently requested by exercise based on type, intensity and duration.
