We studied the improved detecting method on Partial Discharge occurred in EHV power cable. In this field, we usually applied the several sensor for partial discharge. This is metal foil employed with the capacity foil-sensor. We detected the partial discharge through regularly array standard foil-sensor for the better improvement of existed foil-sensor in this research. This test is progressed in real EHV liveline, we analyzed that compare existed foil-sensor to detect character of FSA(Foil Sensor Array) for this test. From this result, detective character of fabricated FSA showed better result than existed foil-sensor.
PD Diagnosis on High Voltage Rotating by Using New Prototype Patch Antenna Sensor

We studied the partial discharge detecting by sensing electromagnetic wave emitted from the partial discharge source in the HV Rotating Machine with the new prototype patch antenna sensor. In this study, we design new type of patch antenna based on microstrip technology and make many experiments of offline testing compare with the existing HFCT and EM probe on stator winding of HV generator in the laboratory. This paper will mention comparison of experimental results based on the three kinds of sensors.
New Method of PD measuring on MV XLPE Cable by Using Prototype Patch Antenna

We studied the partial discharge detecting by sensing electromagnetic wave emitted from the partial discharge source in the MV XLPE cable with the new type of patch antenna sensor. In this study, we design new kind of patch antenna and make many experiments compare with the existing HFCT sensor on MV XLPE cable in the laboratory. According to our experimental results our new sensor can detect pure PD and wider bandwidth 20㎒ to 70㎒ than HFCT and can easily localized manually on the cable.

열차의 진행 방향을 결정하는 선로전환기의 고장은 열차 탈선 등과 같은 대형 사고의 직접적인 원인을 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) 알고리즘을 이용하여 선로전환기의 비정상 전류 패턴을 실시간으로 탐지함으로써 고장 가능성을 사전에 판단할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 실험 결과, DTW 알고리즘을 이용하여 선로전환기의 전류 데이터 중 정상과 비정상 패턴을 자동으로 구분할 수 있음을 확인하였다. An Electrical Point Machine(EPM) has been used to switch a direction of trains, and thus a fault of the EPM causes a serious railway accident. In this paper, we propose a real-time fault diagnosis method for detecting abnormal electric-current patterns of the EPM by using Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) algorithm. Based on the experimental results, we confirmed that the DTW algorithm can classify the normal and abnormal current patterns accurately.
