This study presents the tensile test results of AISI 304 stainless steel which is widely used for airframe structural applications under room and elevated temperatures. The tensile tests were performed according to ASTM standard. Normal probability plots were used to evaluate A and B basis value for tensile strengths. In this study, we showed that yield & ultimate strengths of this material follows normal distribution and suggested a method to determine allowable stresses from normal distribution papers.

본 연구는 항공구조재로 널리 사용되고 있는 AISI 304강에 대한 상온 및 고온 인장특성을 신뢰성 기법을 이용하여 실험한 결과를 정리한 것이다. 인장실험은 ASTM 규정에 의하여 수행하였고, 정규확률지를 이용하여 항공구조설계 시 적용할 수 있는 A-Basis 및 B-Basis 강도를 평가하는 신뢰성 해석을 수행하였다. This study describes tensile test results under room and elevated temperatures for AISI 304 stainless steel which is widely used for a airframe structural material. Tensile tests were conducted according to ASTM standards. Reliability analysis was conducted by using normal probability paper to evaluate A and B basis tensile strengths applicable to airframe structural design.
가속수명시험 자료에 감마과정 모델을 적용한 저장수명 예측기법 연구

추진장약의 저장기간에 따른 안정제 함량의 저하에 관하여 가속수명시험 자료를 활용한 수명예측기법을 제시하였다. 결정론적 가속수명시험 및 저장분석 자료에 기반한 단순회귀분석을 이용한 수명예측 값은 상태분포와 수명분포를 표현할 수 없다. 기존의 연구에서 감마분포를 이용하여 저장분석 자료에 대한 상태분포 및 수명분포를 보여주고 기대수명을 계산하는 방법이 제시되었으나 양산 초기실제 자료를 수집하는 것이 불가능한 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서 제시된 예측방법에 의한 기대수명은 기존의 연구와 유사한 값을 보이며 상태분포와 수명분포를 설명할 수 있고 유도무기 추진기관의 추진제 또는 부품류의 노화와 관련한 수명주기 관리에도 활용이 가능하다. This paper presents a method to estimate a shelf life for loss of stabilizer content as storage periods using acceleration life test data. The estimate of storage life based on deterministic acceleration life test and deterioration data cannot describe a condition distribution and lifetime distribution. Previously, the method to show the condition distribution and lifetime distribution by using gamma process has been studied. But it has limitation because it is impossible to collect the deterioration data at initial production phase. The estimated lifetime presented by this study shows the similar value to previous studies and the method can describe the condition distribution and lifetime distribution. So, the estimation method studied in this paper can be used for a lifetime cycle management about deterioration of propellant for propulsion unit or components of missile, too.
포 발사에 따른 쉘터 구조물의 차음 및 구조안전성 연구

This paper describes the sound insulation and structural safety of the shelter which may be used for shooters. The noise level of the shelter should be less than 100 dB on the basis of the Industrial Safety and Act, the World Health Organization and the MIL-STD. The sound insulation design was designed for the shelter structure. The designed shelter performance was verified by the real measurement after completing the construction of the shelter. The system was also designed using the finite element method with data of sound pressure measured in the test. Its response was obtained numerically. It is proved that the shelter structure is sufficiently safe considering the calculated maximum stress level with the allowable stress of structural property.

본 논문에서 155mm 자주포 K9에 사용되는 추진장약 K676의 포구속도 확률분포에 관하여 분석하였다. K676 추진장약의 로트별 수락시험으로 얻어진 포구속도 자료를 분석하였으며 각 시험탄의 포구속도는 기준탄의 사격결과 값으로 보정하였다. 최근까지 수행된 사격시험으로 얻어진 모든 시험값에 대하여 적합도 검정을 하였으며, 정규분포, 2모수 와이블분포 및 3모수 와이블분포 중 정규분포가 가장 적합한 확률분포임을 확인하였고 와이블분포도 충분히 활용할 만하다. 변동계수로부터 추진장약의 양산능력이 균일하게 유지되고 있음을 알 수 있다 The aim of the study was to investigate the statistical distribution of muzzle velocity of 155mm propelling charge K676 which is for the use of K9, a korean 155mm self-propelled artillery. A plenty of muzzle velocity data were collected from lot assessment test of propelling charge. The muzzle velocity of each test round is compensated by reference round. In the present work, the detailed statistical analysis of the muzzle velocity data is carried out using probability models including normal, Weibull 2-parameter and Weibull 3-parameter distributions. The results of goodness of fit test showed that the normal distribution described more appropriately the experimentally measured muzzle velocity data and the Weibull distribution is also applicable. The coefficient of variation showed that the mass production capability of each propelling charge lot has been maintained.

In this paper, the integration of the firing test stages at the acceptance test of the propelling charge has been studied using statistical analysis on the basis of the test data of K676 and K677 propelling charge for K9 self propelled howitzer. Acceptance test of K676 / K677 propelling charge consists of 3 stages and each stage is charge assessment test, charge uniformity test and charge proving ground test. Many of rounds are fired and much money is spent to prove the charge performance at each stage. The result of t-test shows that there is no difference between charge uniformity and charge proving ground test stage of K676 and K677 propelling charge.
