A Study of Binary Alloy Thin Films Using Ion Beams

단일 이온 발생원에서 낮은 에너지 이온빔에 의한 전이금속박막의 제작을 기술하였다. 실험값의 측정, 이온 종류의 선택 등은 마이크로프로세서로 제어하였다. 두 개의 이온빔의 최적주기의 선택에 의하여 이층금속박막의 조성을 조정할 수 있었다. 박막성장에 대한 원자혼합이론을 수식화하여 시뮬레이션 결과를 얻었다. A technique of producing metastable alloy films by the sequential deposition of low energy ion beams from a single ion source system is described. A microprocessor controlled data acquisition and control system sequentially selects one ion species at a time. By selecting the optimum duty cycle of tow sequential ion beams, the binary alloy film composition can be programmable as growth proceeds. Some simulation results of the growth of binary Pb/Mg alloy films are presented when atomic mixing theories are modified to represent film growth.

Reviewed here are the recent trends of fluorescent lamps with importence laid on reduction of power consumption as fllows, (1) In replacing incandescent lamp with fluorescent lamps, there is a question of the disharmonious feeling between the two kinds of lamps in regard to the color of light and the shapes of light sources. As a means of solving the question, fluorescent lamps that emit light of the same color as the incandescent light have been commercialized; on the other hand, invstigation is under way for flouorescent lamps with a small size and same base as incandescent lamps. (2) As the means of saving energy in the lamp proper, the use of rare gases mixed with krypton instead of the conventional argon has been practicalized. although ther are some problems that the luminous flux becomes lower and the starting voltage is increased owing to the change of the enclosed gas and that, in some cases, a part of the circuit is not suitable for its combination with the new type of lamp, measures have been worked out to well cope with these problems.

각종 monomer를 공중합시킨 고분자 필름의 X선 유기 TSC(thermally-stimulated current)를 측정하고 polyethylene(PE)의 절연성능 개선의 관점에서 공중합 monomer의 영향에 대하여 검토하였다. PE의 X선 유기 TSC 피이크는 결정화도가 높을 수록 고온측으로 이동하였다. X선 유기 TSC에서 피이크는 공중합에 의하여 Br 및 F원자가 0.2~0.4eV의 전자 trap이 도입된 것으로 생각된다.
