Spider silk fibroin enhances insulin secretion and reduces blood glucose levels in diabetic mice

Fibroin silk proteins make up the cocoons of silkworms and spider webs and are rich in glycine and alanine residues. Recent studies have shown that silk fibroin hydrolysate from silkworms improves blood glucose and lipidmetabolism. In the present study, we investigated the anti-diabetic effects of spider silk fibroin protein in type 2diabetic mice. Recombinant AvMaSp-R, which consists of the 240 amino acid repetitive domain of majorampullate silk protein (AvMaSp) from the spider Araneus ventricosus, was produced in baculovirus-infectedinsect cells. We tested the effects of oral AvMaSp-R administration on serum insulin and blood glucose levelsin diabetic mice and found that AvMaSp-R increases serum insulin levels and reduces blood glucose levels indiabetic mice. Consequently, our results are the first to provide evidence that silk fibroin protein from spidersenhances insulin secretion, which leads to reduced blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetic mice. In this paper the experiments of breakdown characteristics by temperature change of $SF_6$ gas, $SF_6$ liquid ($LSF_6$) and $N_2$ liquid ($LN_2$) in model GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) were described. From the experiments results, the breakdown voltage of $SF_6$ increases with the drop of temperature and the increase of the inner pressure in model GIS. The ability of $LSF_6$ insulation is higher than high-pressurized $SF_6$ gas and $LN_2$. The breakdown characteristics of $LSF_6$ were produced by bubble formed evaporation of $LSF_6$ and bubble caused by high electric emission. It is considered in this paper that the results are fundamental data for electric insulation design of superconductor and cryogenic equipments machine교 which will be studied and developed in the future.
녹색꽃양배추(Broccoli)의 葯培養에 있어서 배발생에 미치는 몇가지 要因分析

녹색꽃양배추의 약배식에 있어서 배발생에 미치는 제요인의 영향을 구명하고자 7개의 시판종으로 2년에 걸쳐 일련의 실험을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 소포자 배발생에 미치는 수정B5배지의 sucrose농도는 10%보다 14%가 우수하였다. 2.. NAA와 2,4-D처리는 질산은 첨가에 영향을 받아서 모든 품종에서 농도가 낮을(0.1mg/L) 경우 AgNO$_3$의 첨가에서 배발생율을 낮추었다. 3. BAP는 품종에 따라 배발생효율을 크게 낮추거나 높이는 등 품종간 차이가 확인되었다. 4. NAA와 2,4-D 농도가 높거나 sucrose 농도가 10%보다 14%였을때 배발생률을 높였다. 5. 꽃잎길이가 약길이의 0.6~l배 정도의 화뢰에서 채취된 약에서는 배발생을 볼 수 있었으며, 이때 소포자 발달단계는 1핵기초에서 2핵기초였고, 가장 좋았던 것은 1핵기후기부터 화분유사분열기로서 화뢰성장단계는 꽃잎길이가 약길이의 약 0.8배 때였다. 6. 약의 치상시기는 3월초가 2월초에 비하여 좋았으나 품종간 차이가 켰으며, 배발생에 효과적인 35$^{\circ}C$의 고온처리 요구기간도 품종간 차가 있고, 동일품종이라도 연차변이가 있어 채취 모본의 생리 및 배양조건에 따라 미치는 영향이 다름을 확인 할 수 있었다. The effect of several factors on efficiency of anther culture of broccoli was studied. The medium supplemented with 14% sucrose, 125mg/L of silver nitrate and 0.1mg/L of each of NAA and 2,4-D was best in embryogenesis in all varieties tested. The effect of auxin was affected by silver nitrate, that is, it lowered embryogenesis when the concentration of NAA and 2,4-D was low, but it enhanced when their concentrations were high. Benzyl aminopurine increased embryogenesis in some varieties, but decreased in others. Although microspore embryogenesis was observed in anthers of which heigest was 1 to 0.6 - 1.0 of petal heigest in the bud, which corresponds to the early uninucleate to early binucleate stage of the microspores, it was much better when the ratio of heigest was 1 : 0.8. More embryos ware inducted from culture in March than in February in general. Because there was a big yearly variation, it was assumed that microspore embryogenesis was influenced greatly by the culture condition and the physiological condition of donor plants.
NCS기반 국가기술자격 시각디자인분야 실기시험 평가 방법 개선에 관한 연구

본 연구는 국가기술자격 검정이 국가직무능력표준 (이하 NCS; National Competency Standard)을 기반으로 나가아야 할 방향성을 고찰하는데 목적을 둔다. 본 연구는 한국산업인력공단이 실시한 시각디자인 직종 산업현장 멘토링 (2015년 4월 ~ 10월) 50개사 산업디자인전문회사로부터 작성되어진 보고서와 관련문헌, 전문가 의견을 바탕으로 현 국가기술자격의 문제점과 개선 요구사항을 분석 하였다. 결과, 50개사 산업디자인전문회사로부터 요구 된 산업현장 직무능력 사항은 다음과 같이 분석되었다. 첫 번째 프로젝트 기획력이다. 이는 의뢰된 프로젝트 및 제안요청서를 작성하여 클라이언트 요구사항 수렴을 통해 제안내용과 목표를 정확하게 설정해야 되는 프로젝트 기획력이 필요 능력이다. 두 번째 프레젠테이션 능력이다. 이는 문서작성ㆍ프레젠테이션 소프트웨어를 활용하여 설득력 있는 프로젝트 기획안을 제시하고 프로젝트 제안자의 차별화와 장점 발표를 통하여 설득력 있는 프레젠테이션을 하는 능력이다. 세 번째 디자인권 분쟁에 관한 것이다. 이는 외부로 부터 제공받은 서비스ㆍ콘텐츠 등을 보존 및 데이터베이스화 하여 차후 디자인개발에 활용하고 최종결과물을 저작권과 지식재산권에 대한 법적 보호절차를 통해서 개발 후 디자인권 분쟁을 사전에 차단 할 수 있는 능력이다. The purpose of this study is to look for the right direction for further development of the National Technical Qualification Examination based on the NCS in the 21st century social environment in order to address the mismatch issue of the National Technical Qualification Examination between the typical core competencies required to employee and the performance capabilities required in the actual industry. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, case study was conducted based on the expert opinions as well as the report by the industrial design specialty companies composed of the 50 visual design industrial mentoring companies (Apr 2015 to Oct 2015) The requirements of the Industrial Competency Standards was analyzed as shown below. First of all, The Project Planning Ability required to set up the proposal and goal clearly by starting with the requested project along with the request of proposal and by having the client requirements together was the most preferred as a required skill. Secondly, the convincing Presentation Skill by presenting the convincing project proposal using the word-processing and presentation software and by presenting the project proposer’s differentiation and advantage was the second most important. The ability to prevent design rights associated dispute after development by preserving and databasing the service and contents provided from the outside and by utilizing in the design development afterwards was required through the legal protection procedures of the Copyright and the Intellectual Property Rights of the final output.
Machine Learning on Early Diagnosis of Depression

To review the recent progress of machine learning for the early diagnosis of depression (major depressive disorder). The source of data was 32 original studies in the Web of Science. The search terms were “depression” (title) and “random forest” (abstract). The eligibility criteria were the dependent variable of depression, the interventions of machine learning (the decision tree, the naïve Bayesian, the random forest, the support vector machine and/or the artificial neural network), the outcomes of accuracy and/or the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) for the early diagnosis of depression, the publication year of 2000 or later, the publication language of English and the publication journal of SCIE/SSCI. Different machine learning methods would be appropriate for different types of data for the early diagnosis of depression, e.g., logistic regression, the random forest, the support vector machine and/or the artificial neural network in the case of numeric data, the random forest in the case of genomic data. Their performance measures reported varied within 60.1–100.0 for accuracy and 64.0–96.0 for the AUC.
