김범철은 한국상고사학보 95호에 게재한 「貯藏, 剩餘, 指導權: 湖西地域 靑銅器時代 集團貯藏施設의 考古學的 理解」(김범철 2017)라는 글에서 필자가 이 주제와 관련하여 발표하여 왔던 글들에 대해 강도높은 비판을 하였다. 그 글의 의도와 성격상 학문적으로 논점을 찾는 것은 쉽지 않지만, 그래도 학계의 심각한 오해를 유발할 수 있는 부분은 바로 잡아야 한다는 생각에 긴급히 이 글을 작성한다. 주어진 지면이 제한되어 있어 세세한 부분까지 일일이 다룰 수는 없으므로, 초점이 되는 몇몇 사안만 간략히 언급하고자 한다.

기존의 전기무문토기시대의 연구는 흔암리식 토기를 반출하는 유적을 유형으로 설정하여 그 확산과정을 설명하려하고 있다. 즉, 흔암리식 토기는 전기무문토기의 후반부에 한강유역 또는 원산만과 같은 특정지역에서 형성되어 남한 각지로 확산되는 것으로 생각되고 있는데, 본고는 이에 의문을 제기한다. 첫째, 흔암리식 토기를 반출하는 유적은 주민집단을 반영하는 하나의 유형으로 규정하기에는 너무 유적간에 차이가 심하다 둘째, 최근 축적되고 있는 탄소연대를 보면, 가락동식 토기와 흔암리식 토기간에는 시차가 발견되지 않는다. 셋째, 가락동식 토기는 흔암리식 토기와 역삼동식 토기와는 지역적 분포를 달리한다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본고는 가락동 유형의 남한지역 등장이 청천강 유역으로의 미송리형 토기 확산으로 인한 이 지역 주민의 남하로 보고, 이들의 일부가 남한지역의 기존 역삼동식 토기 사용집단에 흡수-통합되면서 역삼동식 토기 분포권에서 흔암리식 토기가 동시다발적으로 발생한 것으로 이해한다. Studies of the Korean Early Bronze Age have defined the assemblages from which the Heunamri Pottery is found as the Heunamri Assemblage, regarding it as a 'cultural assemblage' that indicates a specific group of people. Based on this assumed definition, the Heunmari Assemblage is considered to have been spread throughout South Korea after its establishment either in the Han River Valley or somewhere in the Wonsan Bay area in the late Early Bronze Age. This paper questions this explanation for the following reasons. First, the Heunamri Pottery assemblage is too variable to define it as a cultural assemblage produced by a specific group of people that shared the same technological/stylistic tradition and group identity. Second, radiocarbon dates demonstrate that there is no difference in beginning date between the Garakdong Assemblages and the Heunmari Assemblages. Third, the Garakdong Assemblages clearly differ in geographical distribution from the Yeoksamdong assemblages and Heunamri assemblages. It is suggested that (1) the appearance of the Garakdong Pottery in South Korea resulted from migration of the Gakhyeong Pottery-using people from the Cheongchon River Valley, due to the advance of the Misongri Pottery/bronze-using people to this area, and (2) the formation of the Heunamri Pottery was a coincident byproduct of the integration of these people into various Yeoksamdong pottery-using groups .

HMD(Head Mounted Display)디자인에 관한 연구

오늘날 HMD/VR은 스마트 디바이스와의 융합으로 지속적으로 기술이 진화하고 있으므로 그와 더불어 디자인과 소비자들 의 사용성에 대한 사후 평가가 필요하다. 이는 새로운 디자인의 방향성을 제시하는데 있어서 중요한 요인이 된다. 이에 본 연구는 대표적인 HMD/VR 제품의 디자인 감성평가를 실시하였다. 국내·외 제품군을 조형성, 심미성, 기능성으로 구분하 여 디자인을 분석해본 결과 대부분 흰색과 검정을 주조색으로 사용하면서 모던한 이미지로 나타났고, 형태적으로 기존 고 글의 형태에서 크게 변화가 없는 것을 알 수 있다. 기능성에 있어서는 외부는 내구성에 내부는 편안함에 중점을 두었고, 그 외 추가적인 기능들에 대해서는 외장에 일체화와 소형화에 중점을 두고 디자인 되었다. 만족도 조사에서는 둥근형태의 제품이 그립감과 편의성에서 높은 득점을 얻었고, 검정색의 제품이 조화롭게 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 재질에서는 메탈재 질은 전반적인 디자인 만족도가 높았으며, 플라스틱제품은 그립감이 좋다고 평가되었다. 제품의 감성이미지 평가에서는 총 14개의 어휘 요인분석 결과 ‘심플한-복잡한’, ‘큰-작은’, ‘밝은-어두운’, ‘개성 있는-진부한’의 4개의 요인이 도출되었고, ‘심플하다’, ‘크다’고 느끼는 제품들은 대부분 각진 형태의 무채색 계열의 제품들로 나타났고, ‘밝고‘, ‘부드러운‘ 둥근형태의 유채색이나 흰색 제품들로 나타났다. As the technology becomes advanced constantly by the convergence of HMD/VR and smart devices currently, it is required to conduct a post-assessment for the usability, which would be an important factor to suggest the direction of new design. For this reason, it is conducted to take the emotion-assessment of the representative HMD and VR product in this research. The design analysis was based on classifying the domestic and foreign product group by the aspect of formativeness, aesthetic and functionality. The result shows that the color of black and white were used dominantly in most product, which represents the modern image. In perspective of formativeness, it was hard to observe any distinct changes from the form of traditional goggles. For the functionality, the exterior design focused on the durability, the interior design was focused on comfortability, and the additional functional aspects concentrated on the unification and miniaturization of exterior design. In the consumer awareness investigation, the rounded forms were highly rated as preferred in perspective of the good sense of grip and convenience, and the black colored products were regarded as more well-balanced design to consumers. For the materiality, metal generally recorded high satisfaction for the overall design and plastic were regarded as the good sense of grip. In the assessment of emotional images, it results in four essential groups: ‘simple-complicated’, ‘big-small’, ‘bright-dark’, and ‘unique-normal’ by the analysis of the total fourteen terminological factors. In addition, the products regarded as ‘simple’ and ‘big’ mostly represented angulated form with achromatic color. The products regarded as ‘bright’ and ‘comfortable’ represented rounded form with chromatic color or white color.
