무용가 이미라 연구

본 연구의 목적은 대전·충남 지역의 대표적인 무용가 이미라의 예술 활동을 종합적으로 연구하는 데 있다. 연구의 방법으로는 인터뷰에 근거한 구술 조사와 책, 연구 논문, 신문 기사, 전문 사전, 팸플릿 등 각종 참고 자료에 근거한 문헌학적 연구를 함께 사용하였다. 이미라는 자신의 전공인 무용 분야에서 주로 역사적 위인을 소재한 삼은 무용극을 창작하여 공연하였다. 이러한 무용극은 교훈적 요소의 용이한 전달, 빠른 내용 이해, 내용의 풍부한 구성, 흥미 요소의 가미 등이 장점이다. 대표작으로 평가되는 <성웅 이순신>을 비롯한 여러 작품에서는 충효 사상이 주제로 부각되었다. 그녀의 무용극은 서사성이 강하고 연극적 요소가 두드러지는 특징을 지니고 있다. 이미라는 충청남도의 민속 예술을 재창조하는 데도 관심을 기울였는데, 그 작업은 원형의 발굴과 예술성의 제고과정을 통해 이루어졌다. <은산 별신제>, <거북놀이>, <아산 줄다리기>, <횃불쌈 놀이>, <등바루 놀이>, <산유화가> 등이 그녀가 재창조 작업에 참여한 충청남도 지역의 민속 예술이다. 이 작품들은 대부분 전국민속예술경연대회에서 상을 수상하였고, 일부는 국가와 지역의 무형문화재로 지정되었다. 그녀는 다음 세대에 우리 민족의 얼을 심어 주기 위한 교육 무용 활동도 활발하게 전개하였다. 청소년을 대상으로 하는 교육 무용극 경연 대회와 강습회가 그 대표적 활동이다. 한편 이미라는 예술 행정가로서도 탁월한 능력을 발휘하였다. This paper provides a comprehensive study on the works and career of an artist Lee Mi-Ra who is one of the most recognized dancers in Dae jeon metropolitan city and Southern Chung cheong province. The research reviewed various oral records and books of her interviews, research papers, newspaper articles, dance encyclopedia, pamphlets and other references and literatures. Lee, for more than four decades, used her expertise in dance to introduce historical figures through performances and theatres. The advantages of Lee`s dance theatres lie in their reflected moral lessons, fast plot delivery, rich composition, and added interesting factors. Her dance theatres are characterized for their narratives and theatric factors. The subject of Lee`s masterpieces, including Admiral Yi Sun-sin, emphasized on historical figures and their loyalty and filial duty. In addition to dance performances, Lee was interested in recreating the folk arts of Southern Chung cheong province. She engaged in this work with careful discovery of each art piece`s originality and reconstruction of its artistic values. Eunsan Byeolsinje(Eunsan ritual for tutelary god), Geobuk Nori(Turtle game), Asan Jooldarigi(Asan Tug-of-war), Hoetbulssam Nori(Torch game), Deungbaru Nori(Lamp lighting game) and Sanyuhwaga(Mountain flower song) are some of the folk arts that she recreated. Most of these works were awarded at National Folk Art Competition, and some were designated as intangible cultural assets. In the mean-time, she became famous in due to her distinguished artistic discernment and administrative ability. Lee was also active in engaging in educational dance works which would foster the love and spirit of the country(eol) in the hearts of the next generation. Most notable work amongst them is the Educational Dance Theatre Competition and related courses for youth in Daejeon metropolitan city and southern Chungcheong province, which she continued for more than ten years.

무용경연대회 운영현황과 제도적 개선방안에 관한 연구 -2008년~2011년 정부시상지원 무용경연대회 중심으로-

This study discusses dance competitions whose awards are supported by the government of Korea. By the analysis of the current status of these dance competitions, which is regarding their mission, organization, operation, the panel of jury and, follow up service for the prize winners from recent four years 2008- 2011, this study ultimately aims to suggest the institutional improvement. Under the Culture and Arts Promotion Act, government provides some of selected dance competitions with awards, grants and exemption from military service for prize winners in order to encourage country`s culture and arts. In accordance with the regulation about the government award, the mistry of culture, sports and tourism supports the dance competition by providing with presidential and ministry awards. In 2007, government has developed a new evaluation system for the performing arts competitions whose awards supported by the government to enhance the competitions` fairness and operational effectiveness. With the evaluation system, government reviews the dance competitions`achievements and then makes a decision whether to continue to support awards for the next year. However, as a result of 2008-2011 operational status analysis, it turns out that the dance competitions still cause problems, which are criticized by the participants in the dance competition as well as the public for lack of fairness, operational ability, professionalism, and so on. In consequence, suggestions for the dance competitions are summarized as follows: Government should create institutional plans designed to improve fairness of the competitions and competitions` operational effectiveness. In detail, the institutional improvements are about (1)building a regulation to co-host and co-operation of the competition for large-scaled dance competitions, (2)establishing a professional consulting system, (3)providing post-management service programs for prize winners. Significantly, switching from the current way of ‘one-off supports’, government should support a whole process of ‘Planning - Operation - Assessment - Management’ for the dance competitions so that the dance competitions would be able to bring out its development and appropriateness.

학교무용교육의 실태조사 및 발전방향

본 연구는 고등학교 무용교육의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 각종 정보를 수집하여 무용이 음악, 미술처럼 독립된 예술교과로서 존재해야만 하는 당위성을 부각시킬 목적으로 출발했다. 위와같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울시와 경기도 교육청에 소장되어 있는 체육관계자료와 교육부에서 발표한 1997년도 교육통계자료를 중심으로 고등학교 체육교사 현황과 무용실, 강당, 운동장등의 무용교육환경을 분석해 보았다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 체육교사는 그 특수성 때문에 대부분 자격증과목을 가르치고 있지만 서울을 제외하고는 외곽지역으로 갈수록(경기지역 6%, 전국적으로는 5%정도)체육이외에 다른 과목을 겸해서 가르치거나 아예 타과목을 가르치는 경우도 있었다. 따라서 체육의 한교과에 불과한 무용의 경우 교사의 전문성이 얼마나 논의될 수 있는가는 아직도 회의적으로 보인다. 2) 서울시 고교 체육교사 특기 종목별 현황에 따르면 국.공립의 경우, 교사들의 주특기가 육상, 체조, 축구, 럭비, 무용, 농구순으로, 사립의 경우, 축구, 유도, 육상, 농구, 무용, 배구순으로 되어 있어 대다수 체육교사들의 특기가 육상(9.8%), 축구(9.1%), 유도(7.7%), 농구(6.9%), 무용(6.3%), 체조(6.3%), 배구(6%)순으로 몰려 있음을 알 수 있다. 일견 6.3%에 이르는 상당수의 체육교사들이 무용을 특기로 가지고 있는 것 같지만 위 6.3%는 무용학과 졸업생으로 추측되는 바, 이는 결국 체육교사 100명중 6명정도만이 체계적인 무용수업을 할 수 있고 역으로 6명 정도의 무용특기 체육교사들은 무용학과교과과정으로 미루어 짐작해 불 때 특별한 경우를 제외하고는 정상적인 체육수업을 하기 어렵다는 결과도 된다. 따라서 체육과로서도 무용교과의 독립은 필요하다고 생각된다. 3) 무용실기수업을 위한 기본적인 환경조건인 강당 및 체육관의 실태를 살펴본 결과 강당 및 체육관의 경우 용적상이나 설비투자상 어려움은 많겠지만 서울이 50-60%정도이고 경기도는 12-15%로 아주 열악한 편인 반면에, 음악실과 미술실은 서울의 경우 88∼128%, 경기도는 39∼77%정도로 대체로 잘 갖춰져 있었다. 또 통계청 자료에 의하면 1970년도에 비해 학생들이 평균적으로 키는 5cm이상, 몸무게 3kg, 가슴둘레 2cm이상 늘었는데도 고등학교 학생들의 1인당 체육공간은 점점 줄고 있는 것으로 조사되었는 바, 이는 청소년들의 정상적인 발육을 위한 체육교육환경이 점점 열악해 지고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 효율적인 학교무용교육을 위해서는 첫째, 현직 체육교사들의 정상적인 무용수업을 위해서 기존의 일상적인 무용교사강습회를 현실적인 무용교육을 위한 토론의 장으로 마련함으로써 거기에서 얻어진 결론을 바탕으로 무용교육프로그램을 구체화시켜 강습할 필요가 있다. 이는 체육을 전공한 교사일지라도 무용교육의 일관성을 위해 교사들간의 정보교환을 활발히 할 수 있는 정기모임등 다양한 여건을 조성함으로써 체계적인 무용교육이 가능하기 때문이다. 둘째, 무용교육의 현황에 대한 정확한 통계자료를 가지고 한국 교육행정의 실질적인 관계자, 체육교육관련 행정가 및 연구원, 초.중.고. 체육교사, 대학교수등이 모여 좀 더 구체적인 논의를 할 필요가 있다고 본다. 이러한 현장교육에서 얻은 생생한 경험을 바탕으로 한 폭넓은 토론은 곧 무용교과의 수준별 교육과정의 개발방향탐색, 효율적인 수업운영과 학습자관리, 무용교육환경개선, 교수기능의 효율성 향상을 위한 과제 등으로 이어져 무용과목이 독립교과로 발전할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 사료된다.

In this modern and advanced industrial society new type of self-realization and social progress would be possible only when accompanies by multi-dimensional art education. Above all I here intend to emphasize that dance or dance education as a preliminary art form can definitely assist to improve the quality of life, which has connection with the policy of public welfare Dance education includes all the dance-related activities such as art dance workshop, appreciation of dance, and social dancing. The aim of dance education heads for similarly where the policy of social education directs for the active civilization procedure. So dance education programs can develop individuals own ability and creative power. The programs also can offer more opportunities for common people to encounter art work of the creative artists, which will be helpful for the active civilization procedure. Besides it helps unbenefited people, minor people, social outsiders and people who wants self-liberation emit their desire of expressing themselves. In this respect dance education as a method to expand the cultural welfare movement for people`s better life and self-realization can be a good model for planning the future education programs. Because knowledge is necessary for enriching experience, and the reverse is also true, just getting enchanted with art refinement or art work of dancers and choreographers does not seem ideal. Therefore art dancers and trainers should show much interest in the variety of popular culture including all the different patterns of living and working, for example, the life style of adults, the old and the disables, thereby try to develop advanced dance education programs for cultural welfare. And then the aim to improve the quality of life and satisfy their self-realization desire can be successfully achieved. At the entrance of the 21st century, we can accomplish the whole world`s wish to reestablish more well and concretely framed new society, when we acquire more knowledge adopted to proper type of social experience, which needs to be prepared for new future and will be learned easily and more naturally through the procedure of creation.

본 연구는 사용자의 자세를 모니터링하고 수정하기 위해 3D피트니스 프로그램에 사용할 수 있는 몇 가지 기술을 제안한다. 첫 번째로 사용자와 전문가의 레퍼런스 동작간의 차이를 알기위해 두 가지 다른 신체 구조 사이의 리타게팅 기법을 연구했다. 두번째로 복잡한 운동 동작을 표현하는데 생기는 저가형 깊이 센서의 문제인 자기가림(selfp-occlusion) 문제를 예제 데이터베이스와 시간 일관성을 활용하여 해결하였다. 마지막으로 사용자가 취하는 자세가 코치의 자세와 얼마나 다른지 알 수 있도록 피드백 해주는 UI를 제작하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 시스템은 사용자의 신체적 차이를 고려하여 사용자의 자세를 평가 한 다음 사용자의 자세에 대한 피드백을 받을 수 있도록 한다. We propose several techniques which can be employed in a 3D fitness program for monitoring and correcting user’s posture. To implement a 3D fitness program, improved reference motion generating techniques and visualizing techniques are necessary. First, in order to understand the difference between the user and the reference movement of a professional, a retargeting method between two different body shapes ate studied. Second, the problem of self-occlusion, which occurs when using a low-cost depth sensor to represent complex motions, is solved by using a sample database and time consistency. The system proposed in this paper evaluates the user’s posture considering the physical characteristics of the user, and then provides. Feedback to the user.

글로벌 경쟁력 제고를 위한 무형문화유산 컨텐츠 브랜딩 전략 연구: 전통춤을 중심으로

This study aims to develop branding strategies for globalizing Korean traditional dance under the goal of efficient distribution of Korean traditional dance all overall the world and enhancement of cultural image of Korea. For this purpose, four professional practitioners in banding Korean dance for foreign audiences were selected as research participants, and their in-depth interviews were conducted to design branding strategies to enhance global competitiveness of Korean traditional dance. As a result, the study suggests 1) setting clear goals and target audiences; 2) creating a brand positioning to establish the image of traditional dance differentiated from competing nations such as China and Japan; 3) establishing an intrinsic identity; 4) using various communication mediums in marketing to spread the value of Korean traditional dance.
