TLC를 이용한 경사진 사각밀폐공간에서의 자연대류에 관한 정량적 가시화 실험 및 수치해석

In this study, simultaneous quantitative measurements are made of both the temperature and velocity fields for natural convection in an inclined rectangular enclosure using TLC(Thermo-sensitive Liquid Crystal). The temperature is measured using neural network and color-image processing technique, and the velocity is measured using PIV. The numerical results are obtained in the same conditions as experiments by the finite volume method and its results are compared with experimental results. It is found that the number of cell is decreased with increasing the angle of inclination, and a unicell is formed at nearby θ=30°. Averaged Nusselt number is observed to decrease as angle of inclination increases in the region of 0≤θ≤30 and to increase as angle of inclination increases in the region of 30≤θ≤45.

This paper focus on the freezing experiments to minimize freezing phenomena in freezer of domestic refrigerator. In the wind tunnel, the frosting characteristic was investigated experimentally. Here, frosted weight increased with increasing air velocity and decreasing cooling plate temperature. In the climate chamber, freezing phenomena in freezer was investigated experimentally. Here, we performed foundation and improvement experiments in order to minimize the freezing phenomena in freezer, Also, we measured freezing amount in freezer insides and refrigerator weight. At the same time, various improvement plans and experiments based on these results were performed and examined successfully.
