        저강도 걷기 운동이 복부비만 여성의 체지방율, 심폐체력과 동맥경직도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of walking exercise on the obesity, cardiorespiratory fitness and arterial stiffness in women with abdominal obesity. Eighteen participants were divided into walking(n= 9) and contorl(n= 9) groups. Walking group was walking training of 60% of maximum oxygen intake for 3 days a week for 12 weeks. Weight, percent body fat, waist circumference, blood pressure, cardiorespiratory fitness and pulse wave velocity of all subjecs were measured at before and after the experiment. As a result, walking exercise group show that there was a significant different compared with control group. Weight, percent boy fat, waist circumference, blood presure and pluse wave velocity were decreased and cardiorespiratory fitness increased within walking exercise. In conclusion, The current finding of the study suggest that reduction of obesity and high cardiorespiratory fitness through walking exercisec contribute arterial compliance and prevent cardiovascular disease in women with abdominal obesity.

        한국 고유종 미유기 (Silurus microdorsalis Mori, 1936)의 난 발생 및 자치어 형태발달

        The early life history of Silurus microdorsalis living in Jahocheon Stream was studied by observing egg and morphological development. Live fish were captured in June 2018, then reared in a circulating filtration system under a 14L : 10D photoperiod with a water temperature of 18℃. To artificially induce spawning, females were injected with 0.5 mL of Ovaprim (Syndel, Nanaimo, BC, Canada) per kg of body weight, and males were injected with 10,000 IU/kg body weight of human chorionic gonadotropin. Approximately 15 h later, eggs were artificially inseminated by the dry method. Mature eggs were light pale yellow, which separated them from immature eggs. Fertilized eggs were 2.16±0.06 mm (n=8) in diameter and fully hatched at 181 h after fertilization. The fertilization rate was 63.1±2.2%, and 10.0±3.7% of the embryos were malformed at 18℃. The rates of development were 181 h at 18℃, 109 h at 21℃, and 76 h at 24℃. The larval size immediately after hatching was 4.64±0.22 mm (n=8), and the larvae displayed negative phototaxis at 1 day after hatching. The total larval length on 7 days after hatching was 12.47±0.53 mm, with 25~30 basal anal fin rays and 14~16 basal caudal fin rays observed. The total larval length was 14.13±0.51 mm on 9 days after hatching, and approximately 90% of the black endoplasmic reticulum was deposited on the head and body. The dorsal fin had formed, and a single basal body was observed. On 15 days after hatching, the total larval length was 16.69±0.31 mm; the number of basal caudal fin rays (18 poles) was an integer because 2 dorsal fin basal rays and 60~63 anal fin basal rays were observed. The total larval length was 28.96±1.10 mm on 50 days after hatching; the numbers of caudal fins (n=18), dorsal fins (n=3), pectoral fins (n=11), and anal fin basal rays (n=67~73) were integers.

        낙동강 수계 대가천의 꼬치동자개 Pseudobagrus brevicorpus (Pisces: Bagridae)의 일주기 활동 및 식성

        꼬치동자개 Pseudobagrus brevicorpus의 일주기활동과 식성에 관한 연구를 낙동강 지류인 대가천에서 실시하였다. 일주기활동은 일몰 직후와 일출 전에 2회에 걸쳐 일어났다. 주로 하천의 중층대에서 활동을 하며 먹이생물이 발견하면 접근하여 흡입하는 행동을 취했다. 연령은 3개 그룹으로 구분되었고 위내용물 중 상대중요성지수 (index of relative importance, IRI)가 1%를 초과하는 먹이생물은 하루살이목 (Ephemeroptera) 80.8%, 파리목 (Diptera) 8.6%, 날도래목 (Trichoptera) 8.5% 순으로 나타났다. 또한 모든 연령군에서 하루살이목이 매우 중요한 먹이생물이었고, 성장함에 따라 먹이생물의 크기가 증가하였다. A study on the diel activities and feeding habits of Pseudobagrus brevicorpus living in the Daegacheon Stream of Nakdonggang River was conducted in September 2017. Diel activity took place during the night, just after sunset and just before sunrise. Pseudobagrus brevicorpus swam in the middle depths, and when they found prey organisms, approached and consumed them immediately. Fish were divided by age into three groups. Prey organisms whose index of relative importance in the stomach contents exceeded 1% belonged to the orders Ephemeroptera (80.8%), Diptera (8.6%), and Trichoptera (8.5%). An index of relative importance by age showed that the Ephemeroptera are very important prey organisms, and the sizes of prey organisms increase with fish growth.

        자바리 (Epinephelus moara)와 대왕자바리 (E. moara ♀× E. lanceolatus ♂)에 대한 MS-222의 마취효과

        자바리와 대왕자바리 2종을 대상으로 MS-222 농도 및 수온에 따른 마취효과 실험을 수행하였다. 농도는 100, 150, 200 그리고 250 ppm을, 수온은 18, 22, 26 그리고 30℃에서 마취 및 회복시간을 조사하였다. MS-222 농도와 수온이 높아질수록 마취시간이 짧아지는 경향을 보였으며, 회복시간은 농도와는 비례하지만 수온과는 반비례하는 경향을 보였다. 회복시간은 22℃ 이하에서는 큰 차이가 없었다. 자바리의 최적 마취조건은 회복시간이 가장 짧은 30℃와 100 ppm, 대왕자바리의 경우 30℃ 150 ppm이 회복시간이 100 ppm과 유의적으로 차이가 없으면서 마취시간은 유의하게 짧아 가장 적합했다. 이원배치분산분석 결과 자바리와 대왕자바리의 종 간 유의한 차이가 있었으나, 종과 농도 그리고 종, 농도, 수온에 대한 상호작용 효과는 없었다. The anaesthetic effect of tricaine methanesulfonate (MS-222) concentrations and water temperatures for longtooth grouper (Epinephelus moara) and hybrid grouper (E. moara ♀× E. lanceolatus ♂) were investigated. Anesthetic induction and recovery time were measured at 18, 22, 26 and 30°C of Cwater temperature and 100, 150, 200 and 250 ppm of anesthetic concentrations. Anesthetic induction time tended to decrease with increasing concentration and water temperature. Recovery time was proportional to concentration, but inversely proportional to water temperature. However, there was no significant differences in recovery time at 22°C or lower. The optimal anesthesia condition was 30°C and 100 ppm, which was the shortest recovery time for longtooth grouper, and 150 ppm at 30°C in the case of hybrid grouper because anesthetic time is significantly different with 100 ppm in spite of no significant differences with 100 ppm for recovery time. As a results of two-way ANOVA test, there was a significant difference between the species of longtooth and hybrid grouper. On the other hand, there was no interaction effect between concentration and species. Also, there was no interaction effect among species, concentration, and water temperature.
